I was very pleased. They had to haul the couch and chair up from the basement, but had to move some other furniture around first. They put it all back in place when finished with that. I contacted GMP through Angie's List based on their excellent reviews and ratings. Christopher contacted me back by e-mail and asked me to call to set up and appointment and we decided to schedule pick up for the same day, around 7:30 p.m. I told him that if he was running late, to please give me a call and let me know. That gave me plenty of time to move the furniture into one room for easy pick-up. At 7:00 p.m. I decided to move the furniture out to the lobby landing of my building to make pick-up a bit easier. I began waiting for him right before 7:30 knowing that he was punctual. By 10:00 p.m. I called his number thinking he had been delayed. He said he had tried to find my home but had the wrong address, and didn't have the correct telephone number. I reminded him that he could have used his cell phone to dial my number back. I understand not writing the address down properly, but the number was recorded the moment I called and was readily available. And if that was a problem, there was always the original point of contact through e-mail, which I also checked. No effort was made to contact me to let me know that he had gotten lost. By this point, I had moved the furniture to the curb for pick-up and a neighbor had helped me move the television into the the dumpster. I told him there was no point in him coming out and doing any service as I had basically moved all the furniture myself and could literally now haul it to the dumpster. He suggested I contact Angie's List to get a refund.

I left a message for this company via Angie’s List contact tool, yesterday morning (holiday). This morning Sept 6, 2016, I received a quote of $40.00 via email to remove two standard slab doors from my property. I thought the price was reasonable. After speaking with Christopher on the phone we scheduled a pick-up within 20 minutes of our call. I was impressed with the speed of service. He arrived on time without any delay and provided professional service. In less than five minutes, I didn’t have to look at the doors anymore. Yes, progress! In addition, I requested the removal of some raw material (tile) from the property. I gave him a few extra dollars and the box of tile was carried away. I’m happy to report there was, no damage to doorway and no hassle. I will use GMP Junk Removal Service again.
