FLORES FENCE

Raul Flores and his nephew worked hard and fast. They did an excellent job putting in my split rail fence. They were super nice, highly responsive, did quality work for the best price out there. I highly recommend Flores Fence.

The first time I used Flores, he was quick to respond, price was excellent, quality of work very good. Second time, I had to call him SEVERAL times over a 2 week period to get a response. When he finally came out to walk perimeter of yard, I had asked that any and all rotted split rails and posts be replaced, I trusted him to actually walk it and get back to me. He quoted me a price which seemed accurate with the amount of work we needed done. I trusted him and told him to go ahead with the work. He didn't do all the work we agreed upon. He missed areas that were even falling over. I called him back out and the first time he was prompt in attempting to fix the areas he missed. He wasn't able to do the work for lack of materials and said he'd be back. I called and called - he came back once, said he fixed it and left. When I went to walk the yard, he didn't repair the specific area I told him needed to be addressed. Then he never responded. Bottom line - he good a good price for the probably 8 split rails he fixed and I had to go out and hire someone else to do the rest of the work.

They built a wood fence for us. It is a fairly large property a little under an acre. They did a clear round on the back of the property and that included 3 gates along with it. I found that the initial product looked very nice but when the ground started settling the posts shifted and the gates no longer closed. They tilted out of level and so the gate catches wouldn’t catch one another anymore. I don't think the wood was premium wood for the outside and it didn't seem to weather. They were a lot of cracks in the wood and knocks. They were prompt when they came out and professional as far as that all goes but the quality of the work. I would not use them again in the future.

Raul and his crew at Flores Fence showed up early (really early, like 6:30am on Saturday), did the project quickly (less than 5 hrs), and gave us a good product. The workmanship is good - probably not the absolute best you can get, but at the prices Raul charges, it more than met expectations. They were courteous and very responsive to our requests. We will be calling them again with our next fencing project.

Not Good

We live in a suburban area with a lot of nice houses, and Raul has done a lot of work in the neighborhood. Our fence has 3 horizontal rows of rough-cut wood. I have 3 gates, one on each side of the house and one in the back, and there?s a post every 8 feet or so. We were able to have wired fencing attached to it because we have a dog. He has a work ethic. One day it was pouring rain and they worked for a while; I went out and asked them to stop. The next day he had one worker short because he had fired him; the worker had stood around and said that they should come back the next day and work because it was raining that day. He did a good job. He charged me $3500 while another provider had quoted close to $10000 for the exact same thing. Four months later, I noticed that a couple of the posts that were cemented in were wobbly. I called him; he came over, fixed them and checked the rest of them. It has been almost a year now, and one of the latches on one of the gates had busted and had wrecked the gate. I called him, and he came out and fixed it. I have recommended him to my friends. I would rate him highly and would use him in the future, if necessary.

THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND HARD WORKING PEOPLE BUT THE QUALITY OF THE FENCE WAS NOT TOO GOOD. AFTER THEY LEFT I HAD REALIZED THAT SOME PARTS OF THE FENCE WERE ROTTED. SO I CALLED THEM AND THEY CAME OUT AND REPLACED THE WOOD.
