Overall it was excellent. EZ SMall Moves sent 3 very capable, polite and professional men to load up and move me from one place to another. They completed the move in the estimated time. They set up the furniture...everything I expected. My advice: Label each item with where it goes in the destination address Label what is going and what is staying Take them on a tour as soon as they arrive Show them any trouble items

In redoing my bathroom, my contractor didn't account for the weight of my new tub, and was unable to move it with his small crew. I called EZ Small Moves, and was able to get the move scheduled quickly. The crew arrived on time, called 15 minutes before arrival, and took great care to not damage my walls, floors or tub. Thank you!

The best way to describe how well the experience went, is to paste a copy of the letter that I sent to the owner (Tim Jackson) the day after the movers unloaded the truck. Below is the (unedited) email I sent to Tim Jackson of EZ Small Moves LLC: Hi Tim, First, I want to let you know that everything went smoothly yesterday, and second, your guys are AWESOME! Justin, Jordan and Dennis ... were friendly, professional and most importantly ? efficient. My Dad, sister and myself could not have been more impressed with them if we had trained them ourselves. I am very happy and impressed with the service I received from the team at EZ Small Moves. I was moving from a 1 bedroom apartment to another 1 bedroom apartment half a mile from each other. All I needed was help and a van to move boxes and furniture. I got quotes from about 5 companies, including EZ Small Moves. The experience with this company was positive from the very beginning. Tammy was very quick to respond to my request for a free quote. We talked over the phone initially and then she followed up with an email summary that same day. I didn't have to sign any paperwork ahead of time or provide a deposit (other companies did require this). I checked in the day before the move and Tammy confirmed we were all set. The day of my move Jordan and Justin couldn't have been nicer and more professional. They called me 15 minutes before they were set to arrive and said they were on their way and would be about 15 minutes late. In the Washington DC area, that's nothing! I appreciated the heads up. When they arrived, they moved quickly and respectfully. They put a lot of effort into making sure my stuff was not damaged while being carried and also in the truck. They wrapped my furniture in blankets...I didn't have to pay for this which other companies added in to the final estimate. They put down one of the blankets on the ground when they were moving my mattress into the apartment because of the angle of the stairs - they wanted to make sure it didn't get dirty. Very thoughtful - above and beyond! I also didn't have to pay for travel time - another cost in other quotes. All in all - it took 2 hours and was one of my most pleasant moving experiences ever. Highly recommend this company!

Movers were early, professional and courteous. Only needed four heavy items moved between rooms, and they were finished in about 10 minutes. Too bad I couldn't hire them for less than an hour, but I will use them again in the future.

Overall it went great. The company sent two men (Justin and Jordan) to move the furniture. They arrived within the expected window and went right to work. They reviewed what needed to be moved and started loading the truck. They were very careful with our furniture and knew exactly how to make it all fit into their truck. Everything just made it in due to their good arrangement of the furniture. (If it hadn't all fit, we would have had to make two trips, adding time and money.) They followed us over to the rental house and moved everything in quickly. (They even spent some time moving some of the rental house owner's furniture to the basement for us so it would be out of our way.) It all went very smoothly. I was really stressed about this move but Justin and Jordan made it a very pleasant experience. The whole event only took about 3 hours. We will definitely use this company (and hopefully the same movers) in the spring when we move back into our remodeled home.

Professional. Effortless.and efficient.

Overall experience was very good. Mission accomplished. Chairs cleanly moved. They arrived at my office a bit late and that was not what I expected but it was handled expediently when they arrived.

I couldn't recommend these guys more. I contacted several different companies for moving quotes and not only did they quote me the best price, but the team they sent couldn't have been nicer or more professional. I wish I could give them something better than straight A's!

When confronted with a ceiling that was too low to permit easy tipping of a large refrigerator, the guys talked through different ideas and solved the problem. A major storm blew through the neighborhood, causing a 1 hour delay. EZ Small Moves did not charge for the additional time. Emails between Tim J and I prior to the move were prompt and regular; excellent communication.

EZ Small Moves did such a FANTASTIC job on my move!! They were prompt, efficient and got everything done in a short amount of time. Also, the guys were so great and easy to work with even when things did not go to planned. The office at my old building could not find the key to lock the elevator and the guys just rolled with it and still got everything moved out in a short amount of time. They also were incredibly careful with all of my things...this was the first move I did not have anything broken so I was thrilled! I had just gotten my new condo painted and they did not leave one mark on the wall or scratch any of the floors. On top of that the price was fantastic and there were no hidden fees as promised! My move took about 3 1/2 - 4 hours and cost me around $400 which is BY FAR the cheapest I have ever paid for a move. This was by far the BEST moving experience I have ever had and I will be sure to recommend EZ Small Moves to anyone and everyone I know. They were late due to a flat tire but called to let us know.once they got there there they worked very quickly and had my moms furniture wrapped and on the truck in an hour. We then drove the 4 miles to her new place and they had to use the loading dock and go down 2 long halls. They set everything up and did not complain when. I asked them to rearrange it . They them went back to mymom's and packed the rest of the furniture and moved it to my sisters. The 3 men were very polite and professional.

The movers showed up on time, and were personable, friendly and professional. They got right to work and were able to move the items out of my home within the timeframe they estimated. They managed an oversized sofa down stairs in my four-level townhome, and later, when the sofa wouldn't fit through the door of the apartment, they hoisted it over the rear balcony. This was a small move, but definitely NOT an easy one, but they did it all with a great attitude. I highly recommend this company, and will use them again.

We were extremely happy with the services performed by this company. Choosing a mover can be a difficult and stressful experience (because there are some bad ones out there!), but we are so glad we to have found one of the great ones! The movers showed up on time, and called before arriving to let me when when they'd be there. After a quick walk around, they started right in. The move took a little longer than expected, but that was the fault of our small doors that made getting appliances out very difficult, and was actually more work for the movers. They were patient and worked hard to make sure that our furniture was protected during the move, and there was also very little down time where I felt like I was paying to see guys stand around. The movers were also very friendly and professional. Finally, when it comes to price the other companies we called could not even touch the price we got from EZ Small Moves. They were the lowest by many hundreds of dollars. The only ding I gave them was for responsiveness, and that's only because it seems like the front office is understaffed and took a little longer to get back to me when I called to book the move.

I can't say enough good things about this company as far as movers go. Tim was incredibly responsive in setting up the move and answering my questions. The moving crew was on time, clean cut, communicated well with me, worked hard and professionally and seemed to take care with out possessions as well as the building fixtures.

They also brought the replacement box spring down from the attic where the bed was picked up. They did an outstanding job, were polite, friendly, and extremely helpful. The price was good and appropropriate, but not a bargain, so I gave them one "B" for price, but they weren't expensive either.

The movers were on time - in fact they were waiting on me when I got to the storage facility at the appointed time - and all three guys were extremely professional and courteous. They completed the job quickly but carefully. I would definitely use them again - really provided an excellent service at a great price.

The only negative thing I can say is that they were 15 minutes late from the window they originally set. However, they called to let me know they were running behind and from the time they showed up, everything went smoothly. I first dealt with Tim, the owner, to obtain an estimate via email. He was extremely responsive and informative and always quick to reply to the various questions I had. The price was fair and I made the appointment about two weeks out. At one point I had a conflict come up that may have required me to change my move date and Tim was very flexible in accommodating that possibility. Since I had a move with long walks on both ends, I hired a team of three men to help cut down on the length of time for the move. This was a wise choice as it allowed one of them to remain near the truck to arrange the load and unload while the other two did most of the heavy lifting. The team that showed up was extremely professional and very careful not to damage anything. I would highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use their services for any other moves in my future.

I called at 11:00 one morning and spoke to Tim about moving a room full of furniture. On finding that the price was right, I asked what his schedule was. He said he could get the men there that same afternoon. He scheduled it for when I got home from work at 3:00. At exactly 3:00 three men arrived. They were so nice, extremely professional and accommodated every request. They charged exactly what I had been told. They moved the items carefully and without wasting time. I also liked the fact they came, as I had asked, in a small truck which did not hit the tree limbs in my driveway. I would definitely use them again.

We've used them twice within the last three or four months. We spent a total of $400 for both times. They were excellent. We would definitely use them again and we would highly recommend them. They were great. We did the packing. It was a really good experience.

It went well. Tim was very responsive to my emails and phone calls. His work crew was very professional.

I got a quotation over the telephone based on a list of items that I needed moved. The cost seemed reasonable, although they have a two-hour minimum. On the scheduled day two men moved large, heavy items that were stored in our basement and located in our upstairs into a storage trailer that was located in our driveway. They were completely professional, prompt, and courteous. They did not scratch or damage any of our walls or property. We were very happy with them, and we would hire them again.
