Ernesto & his team provided great expertise and quality workmanship throughout a French drain and sump pump installation. When a small pool of water appeared in my furnished basement, Ernesto quickly diagnosed the groundwater infiltration issue and started the project inside 2 days. When we found a leaky pipe that was compounding the problem, he had a plumber on-site within hours to support the additional fix, and later on, connected us with quality support for the drywall and painting recovery. The situation could have been a mysterious nightmare, but Ernesto shed light on the problems and solved them in short order.

Stop searching and hoping to find a good waterproofing contractor; you've found the best. Ernesto visited my property, prescribed a solution similar to others I had solicited, but was able to explain every facet of the project in a level of detail that telegraphed authenticity, expertise and real craftmanship. He and his crew completed a 25' under floor ("French") drain, sump pit, pump and discharge system. As is always the case with 60 year old homes, a few surprises were encountered during construction, but Ernesto deftly dealt with each curveball, explaining options clearly to me, answering numerous questions I had and gave his own recommended course of action. The day after installation, the system was put to the test by an all night deluge - which previously would have resulted in me on the floor cleaning up gallons of water penetrating from the floor/foundation. In this instance, the floor remained bone-dry and the elegance of the system shone through. Ernest installed the quietest sump pump I've ever encountered and the discharge solution was truly elegant - not even visible outside - everything concealed within my existing stormwater management system. Ernesto's ability to find and execute on solutions was remarkable. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend them without reservation.

Ernesto came out the same day I called to assess my basement water problem and propose a solution. When he and his team started the work, they found more contributing factors and were able to handle them in the original time estimate. They were very professional, clean, thorough, and most of all, patient with explaining my problem and solution.

Ernesto and his team team was absolutely fantastic. We had water coming up from our concrete floor in the basement. He came in and explained exactly and clearly what the problem was and how to fix it. There was more water under the floor when he started working than he was expecting, so he recommended that we install a bigger drain. He showed me the water and told me exact cost it would be. Very honest and trustworthy. The final product is really beautiful. You never would have known there was an issue down there. We were scammed by another waterproofing corporation that failed the Fairfax County inspection. Ernest Waterproofing came and saved our house from the mess the other company left. At the time of the inspection, the county inspector completed their work. They were on time, clean, and professional. We are grateful we did business with them.

Ernesto was superb in explaining the process and his team was super-prompt and professional in everything they did. They were meticulous in making sure that the problem areas of the basement were covered. I am so glad I had this waterproofing done on the basement of my house, which was built in 1947. The basement is warmer now and doesn't have that constant damp feeling. It was well worth it to get this done before I invested in finishing the area.

Ernesto was very professional throughout the process of waterproofing our basement. His pricing was very competitive and his office worked with me to schedule a timely start up and completion time for the work. Ernest Waterproofing is knowledgeable about the work to be perform, however, the end result is questionable. This contractor will try to renegotiate after he has provided a contract - unprofessional.

I hired Ernest Waterproofing to install a water drainage system in my crawl space. I could not be happier with the great communication, expertise, and the final product. First, I had one of the big well known (you know them) foundation companies come out and they quoted me 8k higher. Further, Ernesto's diagnosis and recommended course of action was the exact same...but Ernesto's quote included more services (more footage of drainage area, full encapsulation, waterproof painting, electrical, access door to crawl space, etc.). They did an amazing job! They were careful, clean and precise. They really minimized any mess from what is very much a dirty, muddy messy project in very tight spaces. I was especially appreciative of them going above and beyond. When they pulled up some of my deck to lay the sump pump drainage pipe, they noticed some of the decks support beams underneath had some rot...and they proactively installed new support beams (no charge or anything!!). I'm so glad I supported this local company...and Im so happy with the outcome. I so highly recommend them, you will be getting a great service at a very fair price!!!

Ernest Waterproofing did a very thorough professional job from the moment they walked in our door to estimate what needed to be done through the conclusion of the actual work. On the day the work was to be done, they laid plastic sheets from the door to the work area, and kept me appraised of the work they were doing. I very highly recommend them. They did a 5 star job in every aspect of their work and customer service.

The quality of the work was excellent. They arrived promptly and finished as promised. They maintained a neat work-site and removed all work related materials when they finished. Plus, they were nice people to work with.
