Great. These guys were extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and matter of fact about the situation and the solution. No B.S. I was very satisfied with the services render, the final price, and their patience as I asked many questions throughout the process.

I called today 4:30 PM for some information and by 5:15 Rachel had Chris and Zack here onsite providing their assessment of the situation. They had the issued resolved in no time. They did such a great job (including making friends with our 75lb dog) my wife was able to find some additional work for them in our spare bathroom. Efficient, prompt, personable and the price was competitive. We will definitely use again and refer to all of our friends.

Cleared the drain properly that another plumber did not do and suggested a new sump pump which we had him install. All went very well.

It went very well. Only a small hole was dug down near water meter; then, modernizing tubing was inserted through old broken line. He even helped wake next door neighbor who works night shift to ask him to move car to allow contractor to use large "awl like " machine in front of our home. He also contacted water company who replaced 20+ year old meter with most current one. He gave full instructions on hot water heater he also replaced. Finally, the one hole- thank goodness my whole small lawn was not torn up to locate hole in waterline, a perk of the process used-- was filled in and grass seed put down along with hay to keep seed in place. The company was selected from 3 others due to references, the professionalism of their representative, as well as their ability to get work done the NEXT day.

They were incredibly responsive, and sent out a plumber that day. I had my hot water heater installed within a few hours. The plumber was also very helpful and explained everything throughout the process.

They installed a 2 inch piece of pipe and since they had a "flat fee billing rate" the repair cost over $400. It was only 2 inches and took about 10 minutes to install. They also will not warranty the work done since it was attached to an older pipe.

We had a Saturday appointment for arrival between 9:00 and 11:00. Chris arrived at 9 exactly. He introduced himself and got right to work. He was knowledgeable and professional. When I scheduled the appointment Jenn was very helpful in getting all the information they needed to get the job done, so everything was done in a timely manner. We really appreciated the prompt and professional staff. They were a pleasure.

They came very quickly - I called about 8 am - they gave me a window of 10-12 & showed up just after 10. (They send an e-mail to say they're on the way.) They replaced the parts that weren't working w/top of the line new ones & gave recommendations on how to avoid other damage in the future - they were in & out in well under an hour. I've never needed a plumber before so I have no way to compare the price I paid, but I would definitely hire them again. I chose them after reading their reviews here & comparing them to other companies' reviews & ratings. They're a small local company (always my first choice when looking for contractors), were very quick to respond w/an appointment time, came on time, were very professional & very friendly. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.

The technician (Chris) arrived on time and did a very good job. He was courteous and left the kitchen area clean. We will use this company again

Good. They were the only plumbers available to come out on an emergency basis before the storm. They were really patient in working with our warranty provider and he didn't mind our crazy dog.

On Saturday morning, my toilet clogged (do they ever break during the week?). As I only have one toilet, this is a bit of a problem. I called several plumbers but they either were out of town, closed for the day, or wanted to charge $200 just to show up. I called DB's and a real person, Jennifer, answered the phone right away. She said they were booked but would try to fit me in. Jennifer called back very quickly and told me I could expect a plumber, Chris, between 1 and 3. Chris arrived at about 2:00. He quickly identified the problem and used a snake to drill out the clog. All told, he took about 15 minutes (or less) to fix my toilet. Both Jennifer and Chris were professional, friendly and very helpful. I cannot thank them enough for helping me out on a weekend when no one else would. Because of this, I will hire them again for future plumbing issues. My only issue is the charge of $233 to fix the clog (which took less than 15 minutes). Really?? Their usual cost is $259 but I received an Angie's List discount of 10%.

If you need a plumber, look no further. After a very bad experience with a contractor, I was a little apprehensive searching for a plumber when I recently discovered a leak in my kitchen. After reading multiple reviews on a number of plumbers I decided to choose DB's Plumbing & Drain. I was pleasantly surprised when Rachel informed me they were available to come out the same day. Rachel told me she was sending an email with a picture of the plumbing technician coming out to my residence. Tommy and Zack arrived exactly on time. With tablet in hand, they explained the troubleshooting process, potential issues which may be causing the leak, and costs associated with repair. They were very knowledgeable and professional. Once their work was complete they cleaned up, asked if I had any questions, and completed the "paperwork" and payment. The invoice was emailed to me, along with multiple pictures of the job from beginning to end. Hopefully I won't have any more plumbing issues, but if I do, I will not hesitate to call DB's Plumbing & Drain.

Great service. Actually excellent service.

The were able to give me an appointment quickly and the tech arrived within the allotted time window. However, they significantly overcharge for their services. They wanted $400 to change a shower cartridge for me. The tech said it was a difficult and expensive job. In actuality it's one of the most basic and quickest jobs when it comes to fixing a leaky shower (takes about 10-15 minutes) and the part costs under $50. They also said to replace my bathtub faucet it would be an additional $230. Again, this is another 5-10 minute job and the part costs about $20. I declined their offer on service and went with another company with much more realistic rates.

DB's has emergency service so, when the water line to my refrigerator was leaking late at night, they came out right away and replaced the line as well as the decrepit faucet that feeds it in the wall. The water line replacement moved pipes to a route under the house with no disruption to the walls. A small area about 18 inches square in the floor of the basement utility room was re-cemented, so there is no evidence of the replacement and they re-seeded the area in the front lawn that had to be dug up. This company has never failed me. They stand behind their estimates and never charge more. I highly recommend them.

DB's was great! They even planted grass seed over the areas in the yard that had to be dug up.

My wife and I found DB's on Angie's List and I assure you, their high rating is warranted. Why we desperately needed a plumber: 1.) water was bubbling from under the house 2.) we didn't know how to turn off the main from the street 3.) it was Friday afternoon First off, they were able to get to us the same day we called. Within two hours we had Chris, a bear of a man with a granite handshake, come out. He taught me how to turn the water off and on, and he helped we weigh my options regarding our time table. His main concern was long term damage to the home and foundation above water loss and other issues. He had our home-owning hearts in mind. When the day came for the work to be done, my wife and I had nothing to worry about as they handled everything. It was nearly eleven hours (we were surprised that they didn't bring a mechanical digger which would have saved everyone a few hours) but by 8ish they were done and we just had to finish up some simple paper work. We didn't have to go a night without water thanks to their knocking it out in one session. ***** READ THIS ***** This is how DB handles unforeseen problems: our pipes, soon after being replaced, began emitting a low moan like an unsexy saxophone solo. This was an issue for the cats, the neighbors, etc... and I was worried that DB would dismiss my concerns over our house being haunted by the stoned ghost of Kenny G. I emailed DB anyhow and within five hours they emailed me back (5am, I might add) and we had an appointment soon after. Chris came back out and didn't just fix the issue, he taught me how to fix it myself. And that is what set this experience above others: the issues weren't merely fixed, but I was taught how they were fixed and how to adjust them in the future. Calling DB made us better home owners.

I called to make the appointment and was shocked that I could get one for the next day and for a time that worked for me! Chris was awesome and very polite! He showed up in the window that was given to me. He was suppose to call me 15 minutes before so I could run home from work and he didn't, but called me when he realized I wasn't home and apologized that he forgot to call me earlier. He listened to what we wanted to have done. He quoted the price that it would be for the work to be completed. Did the work in record time. The price was a little more than I would have expected, but will definitely use DB's again!

Extremely well. Tommy arrived on time, literally! I didn't expect that given previous experience with "service windows" and was late. Rather than having an attitude he was very accommodating to wait for me as I was stuck in traffic. Treated my dog with respect and didn't request he be put up. Evaluated the situation and confirmed what needed to be done and performed work quickly and completely. He was very thorough in explaining what he was going to do and the costs. Would definitely hire again.

Great. Tommy, the technician, showed up right at the scheduled time and diagnosed the problem immediately. He made the necessary repairs/replacements and left the utility room as neat as he found it. He also was knowledgeable and answered additional plumbing-related questions I had.

The pipe in the front yard providing water service to my home burst and was spilling water at the rate of about 4 gallons per minute, flooding my neighbor's yard. On the recommendation of someone who was at my home providing an unrelated service, I called another plumber first. Not only did this first plumber make me wait all day for his constantly postponed arrival, he also wanted to tear out the trees in the front yard, and remove large portions of a garden that was installed,at some expense, last year. I didn't want to destroy the appearance of my home, or lose mature trees, without searching for some alternative first. I went on Angie's List to find another plumber to determine if there were an alternative. I like using small, local businesses, and DB's has high ratings, so I called. Dave and Tommy from DB's came to my home during the appointed time (no delays) and analyzed the problem from my perspective as the homeowner. They found a way to install an entirely new line as the old, burst one was running adjacent and close to several other services to the house, including the sewer line, risking breakage, if the original path into the house were followed in laying a new line. Also, the builder had installed the incoming water service toward the back of the basement, away from the front of the house. In other words, there were considerable challenges of distance and location to overcome. Dave engaged another company with the technology to assist him with running a new line under the house. No disturbance to the garden, no mess in the house, resulted in one happy homeowner. The water line was replaced during one day! They even saved the patches of grass over the few small holes they dug, and overseeded and laid straw on a larger area. Dave also documented the installation on video and is sending me a copy. This is great service!! I am so grateful that for this thoughtful, thorough, and professional work. I cannot speak highly enough of the work that DB's did and strongly recommend this company. By the way, DB's estimates are rock solid. There is no surprise bill at the end, even if there are cost overruns, and the work is guaranteed for 5 years. What's not to love?

DBs was available immediately and the owner came to assess what was wrong with our sewer pipe. He was able to correctly assess our issues and where our piping runs and also confirm that all work would be done outside the house vs the other big box company which gave us a bad assessment. I would recommend DBs for their honesty, knowledge, courtesy, and helpfulness.
