Description of Work: It's everyone's worst nightmare: sewer water coming up to the floor of your finished basement and flooding occurs. You need a plumber pronto. The next possible nightmare is getting a BAD one that will charge you x2 because you are panicked and do a poor job. I say that because DB's Plumbing & Drain was called and delivered what can only be described as an exceptionally POSITIVE experience from start to finish. Within 3 days, they identified a tree root that broke into our main sewer line, showed up to fix it in full and were always on time, on budget and pleasant to deal with, from the field crew to the owner, who called to check in to ensure the job is done right. So what is typically a nightmare, winded up being a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE that I want to share with everyone as I'd recommend them to anyone who is looking for HONEST, TRANSPARENT, AND RELIABLE PLUMBING COMPANY. I was so pleased that I kept their cards and giving them as refers to any of my neighbors or friends. Great company!

Description of Work: They repaired broken water main under front yard and replaced burned out hot water heater. |It went very well; the entire process was explained as well as how to maintain the quarter heater. "Tommy" of DB plumbing & drain oversaw the crew repairing the water main break, dealt with two levels of authorities of the Water Authority and personally installed the water heater. He also helped me by removing and bleaching down mold caused by old water heater long term leak. He showed up early and completed the work timely. Two other plumbing companies charged more or were not able to get to the repairs for almost two weeks (knowing I had no running water).

Description of Work: Leak in basement causing water damage. Leak detected in rear spigot pipe. Drywall removed, spigot replaced along with leaking pipe. Appt time was between 10 am & 12 pm. Plumber arrived just after 10 and was out the door by 11:45 am.

Description of Work: DB charged me $495/hour to "power" flush a drain - took them less than an hour = 500 dollar bill. $500/hour to flush a drain? You do the math, i would not do it again - I'd use a garden hose next time.

Description of Work: Cleaned out a clogged drain in the basement. Checked an outside drain and verified that it ran into the sump pump. Noted that the sump pump was not working. Replaced sump pump. Attempted to stop a leaky faucet by replacing a washer. Still dripped a little bit, so he did not charge for this.

Description of Work: Cleared blockage in sewer pipe. Viewed problem through camera and diagnosed repair needed at connection. Advised that city was responsible, marked spot on pavement, clearly annotated invoice to show problem, and told me exactly who to call and what to tell them.

Description of Work: We had a little but of a messup with appointment times, but they were extremely professional and offered us a discount due to the mixup. The owner himself came out and performed the estimate on two jobs that we wanted done. I was very impressed when he pointed out that one of the jobs (to replace the washing machine hot and cold water valves) was not needed, and showed me how to turn them off to replace the hoses myself. Other companies that came out to do their estimates never mentioned that no repair was needed and simpy quoted me the cost to do the work, so I was very impressed with his honesty. He had time to do the job right there, and the work was done immediately. I also loved that he cleaned up after himself, and there was no mess. He explained the bill (which actually matched his estimate! No additional fees!) and explained their warranty of the work done, and what to look for if I thought it was leaking. Over all, I will definitly do business with this company again, A+++! You guys did a great job!
