DB's Plumbing & Drain

Showed up on time and was very knowledgeable. Took the time to locate exactly where the spigot was attached to the house so he didn't have to cause too much damage to our drywall in order to replace it. Even left the squares of drywall for us so we could patch the hole back up later, and recommended another company that could repair the drywall for us. Took his time and did a great job overall.

All the work was done very efficiently, and everything works great now. David also showed me how to get a free, needed part from Moen under warranty for the repair. His assistance with this was needed, since I didn't know the model number of the fixture. In all respects, the service call went very well, and I'm very happy with the work that was done.

DB's did a fantastic job. I contacted them on Monday, 21 Apr 14, and they responded in less than 15 minutes. They were able to schedule me on the day/time I requested, which was great because I only work from home on certain days. DB's arrived on time and had the parts necessary to replace my pipe/faucet. They were very professional and neat, no mess left behind. The job took less then an hour, which was under the quoted amount of time. The price quoted was also lower than the actually one, which is always a plus. I should also mention, DB's was at my home in Jan 14, I had the same issue with my front yard water pipe/faucet. This problem actually caused the water to run into my basement utility room, which I had no idea what the issue was at the time. I called DB's in a panic. They called me right back and showed up in less than a hour to resolve the issue. I didn't even think to turnoff the main water valve to my house so DB's took care of that right away. Again, they replaced the front yard water pipe (inside the wall) and replaced the front water faucet in less than an hour, with no mess left behind. DB's checked my backyard water faucet to see if it was okay and mentioned my pipe might be cracked as well since there was frozen water in the pipe/hose....they were right. While checking my backyard water faucet DB's identified my next door neighbor's outside water faucet pipe had burst (water was running into my back yard) and he fixed their pipe/faucet as well. I was very impressed with their willingness to help someone in need, even though they were not scheduled for service, and my neighbor was not even aware of the problem. DB's is the best and I will definitely use their services again.

I have used DB's Plumbing and Drain several times in the past. Dave has always been extremely responsive, professional and friendly. I discovered water rising between the tank and seat of the toilet when it was flushed. I called Dave late Wednesday afternoon; he gave me a two hour window for Thursday and arrived in that time frame. He determined the problem was a gasket on what turned out to be a one piece toilet. As it was not a standard gasket, he ordered it and came back on Friday during the time frame he gave me. He also checked the flap in the tank and ordered a new one as it was deterioating. I told him I had an identical toilet in another bathroom; he checked it and ordered a new flap for that one as well. Dave does excellent work and goes above and beyond. I will continue to use DB's Plumbing and Drain for my plumbing problems!

Once again, they did a great job! The owner himself and another gentleman (sorry, I can't remember your name!) came buy and looked at our toilet that wouldn't stop running, as well as a faulty faucet that our handyman installed. Both gentleman were super nice and told me exactly what the issue was and exactly how much it would cost. Advised me what kind of faucet to buy and how much it would cost to install a new one(faucet the handyman installed earlier was missing pieces and basically caulked into place). David even tinkered with the faucet so it would be usable until we got a new one in and scheduled another appointment. Very reasonably priced and did a great job. Again, I am impressed by this company's honesty. This is the only plumber we'll use!

Phenomenal job! From the day i placed the order, Dave and his staff were in constant communications with myself to get the info they needed to insure that the they would have everything they needed, on the truck, to get the job done RIGHT! They did not disappoint. Arrived on time, got right to work and got the job done in record time. Dave and Matt are consummate pros, I WILL use them again!

Went well, the employee arrived on time, and was dressed professionally and was very courteous. He thoroughly explained what he did.

My experience with DB Plumbing was excellent. They were responsive and professional throughout. They explained what was wrong with my toilets, fixed them quickly and were very patient and answered all of my other plumbing questions. I have not had any problems since their repairs. I highly recommend them based on my experience. It's been a while since they did the work, so I'm basically guessing on the cost of the repairs.

Our home insurance company assigned our work order to this company. I called to schedule an appointment and the lady that answered the phone was extremely rude. I asked for an appointment after 4:00 on a Monday. She asked if they could come between 10:00-2:00 and I said no, no one would be home. She then said, "Well, if it's an emergency (which it wasn't), wouldn't someone in your home decide to make the time to be there?" Her tone and attitude were ridiculous, not to mention what a b*tchy question. 1. RUDE 2. I didn't ask her opinion, I asked for an after 4:00 appointment. 3. If the secretary is rude, the rest of the company is probably worse. STAY AWAY!

Very well! The plumber was very informative regarding the type of plumbing used in our home. Even though it would mean a great "sale" to replace everything, he just left us informed. We appreciated his candor and willingness to wait for us to make a decision in our own time. The leak was fixed and all is well! I have never been so happy to do some laundry!

DB's responded on same day as our call to diagnose a wet utility room problem at my in-laws in Woodbridge area. They sent out Dave who was super professional and responsive. He talked through the options clearly and interfaced well between the in-laws, who are not able to communicate well in English, and us. He was able to diagnose the problem as a faulty shower pan, and provided a referral to a reputable contractor for the work required, which entails a new shower pan.

I called DB based on Angie's recommendations and had a great experience. The company came out right away and resolved the problem promptly and efficiently. David is very friendly and I will definitely refer him to my friends and neighbors for their plumbing needs.

Dave was on time and professional. He identified the cause of the leak under the sink immediately and asked if there was anything else while he was here. I had him look at the shower issue and he was able to fix that during the same visit. He explained the warranties and told me to call with any questions/issues. Unfortunately, later that night I discovered another leak under the kitchen sink. I was unsure if it was related to the first leak, masked by the first leak, or was a new leak. So we called him the next day and he came back out to our house within the hour. The sink, of course, did not leak when he arrived. Thankfully he waited around for awhile and let the water run, which eventually produced the leak. He was honest about not being entirely sure of its cause, but thought that either the faucet body needed to be replaced or the caulking was deteriorating. We have decided to watch it for awhile and call him back when we figure out what we want to do about it. There was no charge for this visit. They also followed up with a phone call the week after to see if we had a good experience. We will use Dave again.

I have used DB's plumbing in the past and have always enjoyed the professionalism of David and DB's plumbing. Being new to home ownership, I asked David all sorts of questions regarding home plumbing and asked him for recommendations for future and David answered everything with courtesy and professionalism. People complaining about DB's price should do more research and realize that plumbing is expensive in general.

Called in service order at 1100, given service window of 1200-1400. Arrived at 1230, departed 1400.

Dave is very professional and pleasant to deal with. I felt very comfortable having him in my home and would certainly hire him again to do work. Two thumbs up!

A soldered copper pipe separated. It was in a place that could not be resoldered easily. David instead bought the necessary adapters and reconnected the tub faucet with a flexible pipe. Works great.

495 bucks for flushing a drain
