DB's Plumbing & Drain

Called DB's due to a back up of our sump pump. Turned out to be the main sewer line needed repair. DB's spelled out both options (fix part of line or replace entire line).We went ahead and replaced all with the newer technology of "pipe-bursting" that they had described and do not regret it. The price was fair and the work was done entirely in one day. They even laid down straw so my dogs wouldn't get so muddy. I am pleased and will continue to use them for future plumbing needs. A+

It went excellent! When the technician arrived, he took the time to listen to my explanation of the problem. He also explained what he found and the conditions of my pipes. Additionally, he did not my presence while he worked. His professionalism made me want to stick around. Most importantly, he stuck around during the beginning of the on-coming blizzard to ensure the job was done properly and to my satisfactory. Unfortunately, I am horrible with names, otherwise his name would be plastered throughout this post. I will deffinantly use DB's Plumbing because of him.

They showed up a half hour early for the appointment. The technician diagnosed the problems within 5 minutes and gave an estimate to perform the repairs. The work was very well done and I do not expect to have any issue again. They also took the time to look at corrosion around the hot water heater and discussed the procedure to install a bathroom in my basement. Very professional company from start to finish.

The day after Thanksgiving I noticed a leak in our HVAC room. I suspected it was the main sewer/water line to our house. Every use of a sink, toilet, shower or washing machine basically overflowed into the basement. DB Plumbing came out that same day and fixed it. The plumber came around 7 p.m. and worked outside in the pitch dark (and cold) to unclog our pipe. Okay, he had a small light with him but keep in mind it was dark, cold, after 7 p.m. and a holiday weekend! I was really happy DB Plumbing came through for us. Other plumbers weren't available until Monday! We also bought an annual contract from them ($197) that gives us priority calls, annual checkup and a 25% labor discount. Definitely recommend using DB Plumbing!

DB Plumbing did a very thorough job investigating our sewer line issues via camera, explaining what they (and we) were seeing on the camera and providing a video so we could evaluate solutions and provide images to our insurance company. Dave and his team were very competent and knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions in great detail. They even took the time to figure out the unusual path in which our sewer line is lying under the house to the street using a satellite-linked camera and locator device (not sure how to describe it but it is pretty cool). They gave a clear diagnosis and recommendations, along with specific and clear pricing. We would trust DB Plumbing for future projects. We would recommend them to family and friends (and have).

I woke up to find standing water in my basement. My regular plumber couldn't get out until tomorrow so they recommended DB's Plumbing and Drain and they were able to send someone out today. Two hrs. later, Tommy showed up and told me I had two problems instead of one - 1. Shower and bathroom sink backing up because of hair build up. 2. water on basement floor because of leaking pipe from new furnace. He could not have been more professional. He cleaned out both drains - ugh! I was so excited that a backhoe would not be showing up in my side yard that I had him look at and fix a temperamental toilet. He explained everything he was doing, gave me options, and told me all prices before hand. A big "thank you" to Woodbridge Plumbing for recommending them. Both companies were very complimentary of each other - a trait you rarely see. Now I feel like I have two great plumbing companies at my disposal. I only have one suggestion - Give Tommy a raise.

This is the first time using DB. My experience has been memorable. After searching plumbers on Angie's list, I was at a loss. Spotted DB and prayed that I made the right choice. I DID! Melody who took my initial call was very professional. She scheduled a same day appointment. Tommy arrived to assessed my problem, explained in detail of the necessary repairs. He returned on time as promised, like he did on the initial visit. To replace my busted water heater. Finished the job before projected time . I have DB on speed dial! Thank you Tommy! Great customer service from dispatcher Jennifer who was compassionate and efficient in dealing with our situation. We had a pipe burst and was flooding our garage and bathroom. Someone was sent within two hours of our call and the repair done same day. Can't thank you enough for helping us out so quickly and being professional in dealing with our tenants. A highly professional service who used their camera equipment to map and determine the depth of our sewer line across our property and into the county main line. Answered all of our questions, including follow up questions by email. Incredibly responsive and helpful.

From the initial contact, DB's was extremely professional and polite. They arrived during the time stated and did an outstanding job making the repairs. In addition, David recognized the sump pump needed to be replaced and simply made a recommendation. I didn't feel pressured at all and due to his experience and not wanting any potential problems in the future, I asked him to replace it. David is an expert in his craft and cares about the customer. These traits are hard to find. DB's has a customer for life!

It went well. Dave's associate, Matthew, did the work. He used a snake to clear the drains. I thought the price was a little high. I was able to pay this in two installments -- approximately half at the time the work was completed and the remainder in another week. Dave has done a lot of work for me in the past. Last year, he discovered a break in my sewer pipe running into the septic system. Used a camera to show me the pipe and where the break was. He and his associates dug up the pipe and replaced the broken section. Really quite a job, which Dave and his crew accomplished with absolute professionalism. They replaced the dirt they dug up and even spread some grass seed over the area when they finished. I have always found Dave's work to be exemplary. Dave himself is absolutely reliable, trustworthy, and professional, and I would always use his company for any plumbing work I need done.
