Company chosen due to "home delivery" of full mower service (in lieu of customer delivering mower to the vendor for repair service) and also as a result of reading reviews on Angie's List. After calling for mower service, Follow up called received from company for date/time confirmation of service call. Serviceman arrived timely at my home on appointed date. Accompanied me to the back yard to retrieve mower that required service and completed the requested service methodically and swiftly. Mower service was requested because it had been in storage for over five years and needed a complete tune up prior to use. After completing the mower service, the serviceman did a performance check on the mower to ensure it was operating properly. Once that was completed, he even took the time (and exhibited the utmost patience!!) to answer any questions I had on the operation and maintenance of the mower during the after the mowing season. I was very satisfied not only with the "delivery" service the company provides to complete the service call, but also for the very helpful guidance and mower maintenance tips their service representative provided to me. I would use this company again when service is needed on my lawn mower. Well Done!!!

Called Davis Lawn Tractor Repair to have them look at my walk-behind mower and snow blower. Got an appointment for a few days later. Mr Davis and Scott came to my home promptly at the scheduled time and checked out.both machines. They were polite, professional and knew exactly what they were doing! Best of all, THEY CAME TO MY HOME, saving me the trouble of loading two dirty machines into my suv, dropping them off, and picking them up when the work was done. The cost was very resonable, the service was great. I will surely use this company again, and recommend to anyone who needs engine repair and service. I will even call them for yearly tune-ups. The price was great, work was great! Thanks Mr Davis and Scott!

Fantastic service. Right on time. Got right to work and had things wrapped up in short order. Snow blower hadn't run in a couple of years, so I was expecting bad news, but the tech had it running quickly and adjusted for the season. He gave us some recommendations on storing for the summer and difficulties with ethanol laden fuel. Great job. I wish they serviced cars!

I had called Davis a few weeks previously when my Lawn Tractor had broken down. I had not used it at all this year and it was not running. They worked on the tractor for about an hour and were able to find and resolve several problems with it. This past week, the tractor wouldn't start when I tried to use it. Tim and Scott were able to find and fix the problem quickly - water in the fuel and a sticking solenoid. There was no charge for the follow-up. My push mower was in bad shape and they were able to take it apart and solve several issues. They completed a full tune-up - changed oil, spark plugs, replaced fuel line, pulley on self-propelled system, sharpened blades, replaced filter, etc... The mower is working like new. Davis Lawn Tractor is one of the friendliest and professional services companies I've ever used. They are efficient and very reasonable on their prices. I highly recommend them.

The technician arrived less than an hour after the first contact, and had the engine running in ten minutes. He then took the time to tell me how to avoid having the same problem again in the future.

There were two people that came out and they were both very nice. They seemed very competent. They did everything they said they would do. They had to order a part and it came in a timely manner. We were really happy and we would recommend them. We would use them again. Their price was good and it was better than the company we used before.

Very responsive and reasonable price. I called and left a message to schedule a home visit to take my lawnmower out of lay up after two years. They called back within the hour and I had an appointment first thing Monday am. Service person was polite and professional and performed as advertised. They also have a 10% military discount. The scheduler asked me if I was a servicemember rather than me having to ask for the discount which was nice, though I had to remind the service person at billing time. Great service and would certainly use them again.

I was very impressed with them. They do all the work at your place, and they do good work. They also didn't do any work unless I approved. I would recommend them.

My neighbor has used this service quite a bit and referred them to me. I have been really happy with it. I think he is really inexpensive on his charges and has done a few extra things for me without charging me extra for them. I would also refer them to other people.

Jeremy checked Sears lawnmower and replaced starter rope. Works fine.

Work wasn't performed as requested. Work previously performed (prep equipment for storage) wasn't performed well, as was demonstrated by the rusted out carb when the mower was pulled from storage. Was very surprised. I had used this company in years past with better results.
