This company comes to you, has repaired several items for me. They are one of the best service-type companies I have ever dealt with and I highly recommend them.

Their customer service was excellent. Their technicians were good. They were extremely helpful and responsive.

They were friendly and professional and did outstanding work. They even showed me how to fix one problem with my mower by myself and told me where to purchase the needed parts at the best price. They only work by coming to your residence or place of business. This was much more convenient for me. I having them come to my residence would be more expensive, but it didn't seem to be. Hiring them was a very positive experience. I would absolutely recommend Davis to anyone.

After checking the reviews of angies list, I was thrilled to see that someone had a mobile service and would come directly to my house. I called and made an appointment and was given the earliest appointment they had. Tim and his son came as promised and even called to let me know there were available a little earlier than scheduled and asked me it was ok. I was thrilled and left work to meet them. Upon arrival at the my house, they immediately got started working on my lawn vacuum and then my snowblower. They were very professional and answered all my question and even told me what to do for preventative maintanance in the future. The started my equipment and it started on the first pull. They were faboulous! I will be using them in the future!

I had emailed them a few weeks ago, I was looking to compare services. I then emailed them this morning...asking if they could in anyway come today, since the snow was supposedly going to be bad over tonight. So the person on the phone said that he would try and squeeze me in today. I said, thenk you...and then I would await to here from him. I got a call about two hours later and he said he would be able to come see me. Then he called and gave me about a 15 minute window of when he would arrive. They came, I wheeled out my snow blower to them. They serviced it, checked the gas and oil. drained the carburetor, SHOWED me how to do it in the future as well as the oil. Even thought they showed me, I will probably give them the business another time in the future..or recommend some friends to them. Then once they got it running, I then noticed that I had not told them about the auger. They fixed that too.s Then I turned it off, to make sure it would restart. Then I restarted it, and realized I had not been staring it right. So then they offered to wheel it back to my shed for me, I said I have it, but thank you very much. I then said thank you and they were on there were to there next call. I had called two places, one told me they would not be out today, and these guys came. So I would recommend them. I am sure i was very blessed to have them come out on an snowy day like today, but I was VERY thankful.

The mechanic came to my house in a one stop shop truck! He had to hoist my lawn tractor up to change the flattened tire. Changed the blades, cleaned and tuned it up. He was here for 2 hours. He was very pleasant, experienced and even ordered some parts for me that arrived in a week. And I just received an early bird reminder from them. You won't be disappointed with Davis.

The workers were wonderful and the work was done great.

DAVIS LAWN TRACTOR REPAIR arrived early. I offered them the use of my garage to perform their maintenance, but they declined and did their work outdoors on my driveway. They replaced the spark plug and did a thorough job in servicing my snow blower. Once finished, they performed a function check. Upon inspection of my pressure washer, they discovered that the carburetor had been ruined and was not repairable. They showed me the dismantled component and the damage. They actually carried a replacement component on their truck and performed the repair. They serviced the machine and also installed a cutoff valve to ensure that the new carburetor would not suffer a similar fate. They then performed a function check. The technicians were very thoughtful and courteous. They offered (I did not have to request) a discount. Both of my machines are too large for me to load and transport to a repair shop. My alternatives were to have: - a repair shop make a pick-up, perform the maintenance and then drop off the machines. I have no doubt that the additional transportation would have cost me more overall. The time required to pick-up the machines, complete the maintenance and drop off the machines would have taken days. - the maintenance performed on-site, at my home. This alternative took less than two hours and was probably less expensive than the other option.

Used Davis Lawn and Tractor to repair pressure washer. Technician was very knowledgeable, prompt, and courteous and answered all my questions. When pressure washer broke a second time, they priortized the second repair and waived the service fee. Would highly recommend Davis and will use them in the future.

This place is great. Saw good reviews on Angie's List and know why. The fact that you don't have to drag your mower to some other location is great as it is. But the gentleman who showed up did great work. He showed me exactly what he had done--showed the parts he replaced--and also offered some suggestions about mower maintenance before he left. Great all around transaction, price was very competitive, and again, the fact that they come to you is huge. We will definitely use them again.

Davis was prompt and professional. Their tech (whose name I regret I don't recall) arrived fully prepared to repair/tune-up on the spot. He explained what he was going to do, gave me the price quote, I agreed, and he was finished in approximately 30 minutes. The mower works great. Excellent service.

arrived on time. got right to work. very professional but also personable. listened well to my description of the problem;solved it and did the regular maintenance. cost was very reasonable.

My 16 year old lawn tractor had lost all its pep: moving very slowly and barely turning the blades. Having already done a tune up myself and replaced the drive belts I was resigned to the belief that the engine was worn out and needed to be replaced. I called Davis to come and just confirm the death sentence for the engine, and give me an estimate to replace it. I had to wait several weeks to get Davis out as they are really getting lots of business, likely due to the many Angie's List positive experiences. When the service technican came he did a thorough diagnostic review of the engine, finding no obvious indications the engine was dying. The technican indicated they had found many of their service calls were related to problems with the ethanol in the gas starting to deteriorate and breakdown after 30 days causing corrosion in the fuel systems. He put on a new carburetor just to see whether it made a difference in the engine performance or not. And boy did it! The old tired engine was once again a beast - sounding like it did on Day 1. To help with some hard starting he put the proper fuel filter on, and found a small blockage in the fuel tank, which he removed. I was prepared to pay $1,000 or more to replace the engine, and Davis could have easily sold me the service to replace it. Instead they were honest and methodically identified the problem. They also gave me advice about preventing this from happening again, and further improving the engine's performance. All in all I could not be happier, My tractor now has a new lease on life.

They were able to clean the mower avoiding a costly part. They serviced the power washer and determined that the pump was bad and it would cost more to fix than the machine was worth. I valued their honesty and will use them again in the very near future.

A nice lady from Davis promptly returned my call; our 9 year old Toro push mower wouldn't start. An appointment was scheduled, Scott came out, and called on his way to let me know he was about 20 minutes out. He performed a much needed tune-up to include changing the engine oil, air filter, spark plug, sharpened the blade, lubed controls and cleaned and leveled the deck. It looks like a new mower and starts right up. Scott was very competent, professional and friendly. He gave me tips on how to keep the mower running and reminded me to run the gas out at the end of the season. (Leaving gas in the tank over the winter causes problems.) He even mentioned they have a military discount which was super. Davis provides excellent customer service from folks who value your time and appreciate your business, they take pride in their work. Their prices are extremely reasonable and service is second to none. I called them because of their ratings on Angie's List and am happy to highly recommend them. I'd use them again and will recommend them to my friends and family.

Davis Lawn and Tractor serviced my Toro 6.5 Personal Pace mower. They changed oil, changed air filter, sharpened blade and took apart the rear drive wheel to examine gears. Tim was polite, punctual and candid in our discourse. I will use him again in the future.

Snowthrower was leaking gas from carburetor (most like float pin stuck). Not having any means of transporting this large item, I needed a service provider who could either pick up, or even better, service at my house. I lucked out with Davis - used Angie's list to read many favorable reviews. Called and left message and was called back quickly to note they had a technician in my area on the same day (day prior to late winter storm) and could get to my house between noon and 2 PM. Very knowledgeable young man was right on time (at the early end of a promised window of time around 12:30) and went right to work on the system and cleaned out the carburetor (I bought the snowthrower new it in 2010 and only used it for 3 hours total so I was surprised when it leaked), put things back together, ran a test - no leaking! Pumped up my tires and greased the auger gear box while he was here (that was at my suggestion but he happily did so - indicating "while I am here of I should take care of that"). We discussed parts and supplies and service strategy in the future - this is the best small engine repair experience I have ever had! I was willing to pay $90 just to have the unit transported to a repair shop to get it fixed in priority fashion, adding those fees on top of transportation. I am not going back to my other shop - they are ok but somewhat expensive and have to arrange transportation to the shop. Much better to have them come to you! I have a lawnmower and lawn/leaf vacuum that I plan to have them service - one in the very near future once this snow passes!

My lawn mower wouldn't start. I called Davis lawn tractor repair. They were friendly and answered my questions, they responded quickly repaired my mower at the price quoted and it runs as good as new. I would recommend them to anyone needing mower service or repair.

The experience was excellent. Davis Lawn Tractor Repair arrived as promised and called before arriving. They repaired our lawn mower and did a full service. While here, I had them do a tune up on my snow blower. They checked all parts and determined that one of the drive belts was cracked (they showed me). Unfortunately, they did not have that specific belt on the truck so we agreed that they would order the belts and return. When the belts came in, they came back and replaced the belts. I would definitely use them in the future.
