They exceeded all expectations. I obtained three estimates for this project and they bid the job in a timely manner and were far more economically competitive than the other two. We worked the contract details via email and established the schedule. The workmanship and professionalism on this project were exemplary. Not only was the project completed on time, within budget and to exact requirements, but also they left the work site very clean. I would have them do more work for me anytime and have actually tenatively discussed another project.

Crew were hardworking & pleasant. I would use them again in the future.

Dave removed the bricks from the retaining wall on Saturday, then returned on Monday with his brother to place the new bricks and set the wrought iron railing while his brother removed and replaced the spalling bricks on the chimney, and replaced the concrete chimney cap. I continued my own work on the house throughout the process, and Dave provided his expertise (and even his tools at times) to assist me with the projects I was doing (including cold patching the driveway, and sanding rust off of the wrought iron fence). He really went above and beyond. When I climbed on the roof on Tuesday morning to inspect the chimney, I noted that the new concrete cap had some cracking, and e-mailed Dave about the issue. He returned to the house that day and applied another full layer of concrete to the area, again fully cleaning the surrounding areas (all work areas were left tidy throughout the job, and there was no tracking of dirt/dust into the house). I had already paid in full when I discovered this problem, so his prompt response showed his dedication to quality work. I'm very pleased with the craftsmanship of the repaired chimney and wall, and would definitely use Dave again.

I liked the fact that it is a small business. David Ricard is the owner. He actually does the work with his brother and I think a long time associate. He is very honest. If he says he is going to be at your house at 8 o'clock, he is at your house at 8 o'clock. He is very professional. I wanted to do something else to my patio. He told me that it wasn't necessary and that I would just be wasting my money. I haven't heard that from anyone in this area in a long time. He is just a pleasure to deal with. I have 2 more projects that once the spring comes I am going to be calling him. He is great. I had actually used another company when I first moved here and there is no way I would go back to them. I would use him for just about anything in masonry. I had a flagstone walkway edged in brick. I had a lot of old flagstone and brick left over from another job and he used it. I had estimates from 2 other companies that told me it couldn't be done and the quality of those materials weren't good. He used it and I just loved that he was able to recycle what I had. It goes great with the house. The flagstone matches all the other flagstone at the house too. I really was impressed with that as well. I really felt like he listened to me and I felt like he really wanted to work with me. I know he does a lot of other bigger jobs and this was not the biggest job he ever had or ever will get. I really felt like this job was important to him as it was to me and I appreciated that a lot.

The crew arrived nearly an hour late but started work immediately. They had their lunch break while the primer dried. All materials had been laid out for my review after the unexpected trip to a home improvement store. Foundation work was accomplished. The earth was returned to the trenches, the area tidied up and all excess material removed.

We are in the process of getting few more estimates. I would give the highest rating. He was the second person that I got an estimate from and based on the first person that I got the estimate from, I can tell that he just renewed my faith in workmen in this area. He was incredible responsive, on time, professional and was probably one of the nicest workmen that I have met. He is the front runner; I have two more estimates scheduled. Even if their prices are better, I think I will go with him because he was that good.

He was great to work with and he was personable and timely. It was a great experience and the pricing was fair.

Excellent. Dave is very careful to listen to the customer and work with him/her to make sure he's doing what they want. We spent a lot of time working out the curved portion of the walkway for example, to my specs. crew was always on time and cleaned up. Dave's prices are very competitive.

It went spectacularly well. David and his crew were responsive, responsible, polite, careful of all of the rest of the garden/house, and the end result is beautiful. They stopped to let me dig out plants that were otherwise going to be crushed. They worked in spite of the weather - to include thunderstorm and soaking rain. They reused the bricks that were original to the house and matched any new bricks to the old ones. The wall is level, repaired, and good as new. They dug out the tree stump and when finished replaced the dirt and mulch. We are very, very, very impressed.
