Description of Work: My HVAC unit was making a noise & with bitter cold temperatures coming - I called for a same day service. When the technician arrived & saw the date my unit was built/installed - he would only discuss replacement for the entire unit. He did inspect both the heater and AC Unit, discovered that the heating coils and blower fan should be cleaned and then spent 45 minutes putting together a quote for a whole new system. I asked him if there was anything I could do to get me through a few weeks & he said no but I could install the new unit the next day. After he left my neighbor (who has the same unit) came over, cleaned the blower fan & the system has worked fine ever since. Since the visit - I have had two other companies look at my system & both have stated that the system is working fine. I didn't schedule a same day "quote", I scheduled a same day "service" .

Everyone at Brennan's was responsive and provided me with the information I needed to make a decision on the best course of action. The work was done promptly. The crew doing the work was on time, professional, and helpful in explaining how to operate the new equipment.

Description of Work: The technician (Brian) from Brennan's checked the condition of the coils, cleared the condensate line, checked the pressures, temperatures and AMP draws. He performed a thorough check of the compressor, condenser, and evaporator coil. Brian also took the time to explain what he was doing at each step. Considerate and professional. Good job. Yes, I would use Brennan's services again.

Description of Work: Replaced HVAC unit. After quite a few cold winters and hot summers it became obvious that my old HVAC unit just was not keeping up. I had to call for service at least once each season, sometimes more. Finally the AC conked out last summer so I decided to have a new HVAC unit installed. They did it all in one day and it went well. They were very professional, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. It has run like a dream ever since and my home is so much more comfortable now. The price was a bit high, but there were lower priced options available. The salesman did not pressure me at all to buy a more expensive unit. The terms were good and I feel the investment was worth it.

Description of Work: Outside unit of American Standard heat pump failed on HVAC system they installed 10 years and 14 days earlier. Ten year warranty had just expired. Their solution was an entire new system for about $10,000 even though the fully loaded indoor air handler was working fine and in good condition. They just shrugged off the fact that the warranty was just 2 weeks out of date. Not even an offer to discount the new system. I chose an alternate supplier who replaced the outdoor unit for $2800. Its been working fine ever since.

They came out, told me they weren't worth repairing and gave me options on replacements with recommendations -- and they didn't recommend the highest price unit. They then worked with me to get out and have the work done within a couple of days. They showed up on time, and were done by the end of the day -- just like they said they'd do. VERY happy with them!
