The hvac system check went well; the technician (Rick) arrived earlier than the projected time, was efficient in performing all processes, and was patient and knowledgeable about making recommendations for resolution to detected issues. He also provided multiple alternatives to proposed resolutions (based on specific questions I had about the dimensions and size of my residence) in terms of system lifecycle, vendor comparisons, price points, features of system components, and complementary products that are would realistically be needed to optimize sustained humidity on the different levels of the structure. Rick answered all of my questions and their variations, and pointed out questions that I should have asked, based on the context of the entire Q&A that we had.

Denny was very professional and knowledgeable. Arrived when promised, completed maintenance, and explained findings. Recommend company for all HVAC needs.

They came in with 2 crews. They removed the old systems, one 12 yes. old and one 18 yrs. old. One system was in a crawl space and the other one in laundry room. They were done in a day. There was no trash left anywhere and no dirt on the carpets. Everyone was friendly and polite and willing to answer questions.

The technician was knowledgeable and efficiencent. We were happy with the service.

Highly recommend. It is a great experience each time we use Brennans. Scheduling is easy, technicians are always prompt, efficient, and knowledgeable. We are repeat customers - they've performed regular maintenance for us, quickly helped us with a few urgent items, and installed a whole new heating/cooling unit.

We are very happy with this company! We were in the process of selling our house, and wouldn't you know it, the AC goes out 2 days before closing! Based on Angie's List reviews, we made a call to Brennan's. Within 36 hrs, the AC was repaired and working perfectly. They even took care of the warranty claim for our Carrier Air Conditioner so that we only paid for Labor. They were professional, fast, and very skilled. We highly recommend Brennan's HVAC!!

The technician was persistent and determined in his efforts to locate a problem with the system. A subsequent follow-up to repair and replace a part was done in a timely manner, and it did require a lot of work. The technician was professional, and he left everything neat and clean. His attitude and pleasant demeanor was a plus.

Thorough inspection, explanation of work done, ADVICE for maintenance

We received estimates from Nugent and Sons, McCrea and Brennan's. Brennan's was cursory, to say the least. Their rep didn't even go into the attic to look at the system, while both of the other reps did. Additionally, Brennan's was the most expensive BY FAR. I would not recommend callinhg Brennan's for an estimate, and have to wonder if their high cost and estimating process was so inattentive, what their actual service would be like.

Both the office and technical staff couldn't have been more accommodating regarding scheduling the installation. Gari originally spent a long time inspecting my original units in the hopes that i would just need repairs as opposed to replacing it. I had been told previously by other companies that there was a leak somewhere, but they couldn't find it and basically put "a band aid" on it and called it "fixed." Gari discovered where the leak was and because of the location, the unit would have to be replaced and it might be necessary to make several holes in the ceiling to run the coolant tubing. Although I wasn't happy to hear that, I was given all the information I needed to know before the job would be done. I felt confident that there would be no surprises, and the prices were within the range I expected. The technicians were here on time the day of the installation, were professionally friendly, worked hard and well, and actually did surprise me by saying they were able to run the tubing without having to cut holes in the ceiling. They were extremely careful and, though they were fitting the outdoor unit between mature shrubs, not a leaf was disturbed. I'm only sorry I didn't know about Brennan's in 2005, as this was my 3rd new unit since then. I would highly recommend them..for the first time I feel confident that this was done well.

Service was requested on what was the hottest day of the year thus far, with temperatures reaching 99 to 100, and with a dose of humidity to match. Technician immediately diagnosed needed repair, and proceeded to obtain new part, return, and perform the repair ASAP, which was a welcome relief to this senior. It is my opinion, based on years of service by Brennan's, that the technicians are top-notch, and that they are well-served by management and staff.

First, I believe the receptionist went the extra mile to schedule my service on the same day I called, although it was a very busy day, and meant the technician would be working after normal business hours. The technician diligently and professionally addressed the problem, performed the necessary service, explained every detail and left me comfortable that he was competent and trustworthy. This is what I have come to expect of Brennan's, and they have never let me down.

I wanted to express my appreciation for the time and thoroughness shown by Adam during our HVAC inspection last Friday. He answered every question/concern that I had and gave me information that will enable me to make informed decisions about my HVAC future needs. I can say without hesitation that Adam is the absolute best technician I have ever encountered and will definitely request him in the future.

Brennan's technician (who arrived about one hour after the promised service call window) said he swapped out the furnace thermocouple, which he said did not repair the problem, then told us that Trane Inc. no longer manufactured a replacement gas valve for our furnace unit due to its age, and recommended a $5,625 replacement furnace. Another contractor the following day replaced the $6 thermocouple in just a few minutes, which completely repaired the problem (and said he could have replaced the gas valve if it had been necessary). It was unclear whether Brennan's had incorrectly installed its thermocouple or installed one (deliberately or unintentionally) that was broken, or why its technician said no gas valve replacement was available for our Trane unit. Brennan's quickly refunded my $96 service fee when I complained. Despite the refund, it is impossible to evaluate Brennan's as reliable or professional (or reconcile its high evaluations by others on Angie's List) in our case after its technician recommended a $5,625 furnace replacement that turned out not to be necessary, when the only actual replacement part needed was $6.

My experience with Brennan's was fantastic! First of all, the technician arrived during the window given. Brian quickly determined the issue that I was having. It was a relatively simple fix, and I was so pleased that he did not try to sell me something that I did not need or fix something that wasn't broken. Since it was a relatively easy fix, I took the opportunity to get his opinion on a few other things. He was knowledgeable and eager to share. I could not have been more pleased and will make a point to ask for Brian next time.

I had a new Carrier Infinity HVAC System installed 2 years ago but opted to keep my Nest Thermostat. I finally decided to switch over the the Carrier Infinity Thermostat to take full advantage of my Smart system. First I reached out to the company who installed my system and they quoted me a ridiculous price and wouldn't budge at all. I then contacted about 10 other companies that Carrier listed on their Website. Wanted to make sure it was done by a company who had a lot of experience installing the Infinity Thermostats. I had already bought the Thermostat and I just needed it installed. The prices were all over the place and most companies couldn't even give me a flat price, they just wanted to charge by the hour. When Brennan's called me, they gave me a flat price for the install + HVAC Inspection which was far lower than many of the other companies I spoke it. They were able to schedule me in on the day I needed since I was already taking the morning off work to do some other stuff. Their tech arrived around the stated time. Darryl was very nice and friendly and answered all my questions. He did an HVAC inspection and promptly installed my new Thermostat and everything is working great. Will definitely use Brennan's again and now considering getting a maintenance plan with them.
