Estimate and interim communication was timely and on our schedule. Installation was also on our schedule and the team did an excellent job - punctual, professional, competent, tidy, and polite.

The technician Fred came during the specified time frame, was very professional (covered his shoes in the house) and performed the maintenance in a timely manner. We had two units installed in 2011 by Brennan's and have been on their maintenance program since. They provide exceptional service and we have only had minor repairs/replacements of 2 pumps.

Tech arrived on time and did a thorough job inspecting our two Carrier heat pumps, prepping them for winter use. Had to replace one of the pumps that pushes water out (reasonable cost). We did have the heat pumps installed by Brennan's and have never had bad service in the six years we have used them. We actually have a service contract for bi annual inspection.

We opted to get the maintenance service contract after we had Brennan's install two units 5 years ago. For the last 4 years Brennan's has done a great job keeping our two units in great shape. Love their service.

Excellent! The experience was top notch from the estimate to installation.

Repair person came and said there was a freon leak. He suggested from the age of the system and the fact that the compressor and air handler were from different companies and used an outdated coolant I should get a new system. They provided a proposal and completed the installation. It has worked well all summer. Since I was familiar with Brennan's, I did not get another proposal so I cannot compare/rate the price.

They were efficient and professional with replacing the hot water heat. Again with the AC, complete satisfaction, and again, I didn't bother with a second opinion. can't find receipt for heat, but recall $4-5,000 AC was $5,500

I called Brennan's on Friday and they said their first service day available was Monday. Since we had a backup window air conditioner, that was fine. The service person, Adam Brown, came as promised, checked the system, and replaced a capacitor. He was prompt and thorough and tested everything carefully to be sure that was the only issue. He also replied clearly to my questions about coolant leaks, though we did not need any at this time, and he noted that after 2020 the coolant in my conditioner would no longer be available. Total cost was $215 which I believe included a rebate for Angies. It is difficult to rate the price because I could not shop around, but this was the fourth time I had called several times over the years for assistance with two different houses.

Great. They come in, neatly took out the old unit and installed the new. I would say we have saved about 7-10 percent on our heating bill since then. I also got a service plan with them to come out 2 times a year.

These guys are great. Always on time, very professional about all services. Very knowledgeable about HVAC and always provide options to fit the budget.

Brennan's provided great service. We arrived home from a vacation to find one of our air conditioners not working. Adam from Brennan's was out to visit us late on a Friday evening. He quickly determined it would not be an easy fix. Adam was back in a couple days to complete the necessary diagnostic work. He was courteous throughout the process and very honest by the nature of the issue. We were provided several options to consider. Ultimately we had Brennan's install a new Carrier system to replace the aging builder-grade system. The installers were also very knowledgeable, courteous and neat. It's an awful surprise to have to unexpectedly replace an HVAC system. Brennan's made the process as painless as can be expected and they always provide top quality service.

I didn't find them on Angie's List. They were referred to me. They did great work overall.

They came when they said they would exactly when they said they would and did the work very quickly and the pricing is about fair. It was a little on the high side.

I don't think that I found them through Angie's List. I am under a contract with them so I don't know exactly how much it costs. It is a twice a year plan; that was the winter service and they do a summer service. The work they have done has been good. They have been timely/they are on time. They have done good work. We have not had them do a whole lot, it has been mainly the annual or twice a year service.

They were able to come the next day -- thankfully. The technician was experienced took the time to go through the repairs to the unit as well as helpful guidance for follow-up maintenance. I appreciated his work ethic and technical competence. I would definitely recommend Brennan's again.

Billy came out to diagnose the problem. My A/C had a problem every every year, and this year was no different. We had been limping along with a couple portable units, but finally got a professional to tell us how bad. My in-laws have been customers of Brennan's since my husband was little, so they recommended them to us and I'm so happy they did. It was bad. The motor was shot and the connectors were fried. The system was 16 year old Carrier heat pump, so I wasn't too surprised. I was surprised to learn that the previous homeowners had replaced the motor before with an undersized off brand unit that had put extra strain on the compressor. I put even more strain on the system by running it to keep air circulating. He said I could replace the motor with a properly sized OEM one for $1200, but he wasn't confident in that, nor was I. We both felt that it was a temporary measure at best. Maybe I would get a little more life out of the system, but if the compressor was fried too, I was screwed. The system was so old and energy inefficient, we joked the drop in my energy bills alone would pay a good bit of the payments if I financed it with them. As he took measurements, we found out that the previous installers hadn't enlarged the return air ducts and the air flow for my 3.5-ton system was equivalent to the requirements of a 1-ton system. They also hadn't felt like installing a 90 amp breaker on the box, so they macgyvered it to work (ish) off the 60. I was so pissed as this explained why it was a useless hunk of junk when it came to heating my house in the winter even as I was paying hundreds to NOVEC. He also had a shocked laugh when he saw my 19 year old 8 year water heater. He commented that they replace water heaters too since the bottom 20 of the 50 gallons was probably calcium deposit at this point, and would include a new one in the estimates, if I wanted. I said sure. Let's max out my sticker shock. I didn't give him any budget guidance so he picked 3 different Carrier Infinity systems, ranging from pretty good to their fancy Greenspeed one. After much discussion with family, my husband and I went with the Greenspeed one. The cost included the heat pump, handler, water heater, humidifier, and wi-fi enabled thermostat, plus all associated installation costs and disposal of my old units. The installation crews were booked into August, so they pulled in a service crew to install the units sooner since I have little ones, led by Billy again. Installation day was 95 degrees and sunny, because of course it was. He and the other two guys were great. It was a more challenging install than expected, but they got it done beautifully and by the end of the day, my house was cooling and moving from "absolutely miserable" to "comfortable." Looking at the installation, they guys took time to make everything neat and sealed. The soldered joints were neat with no drips or sloppiness, and all the duct joints were well taped and tight. Before he left, Billy walked me through all the bells and whistles of my new system and made sure I had all the paperwork I would need for my rebate come tax time. He also said that he had included a year's service contract with the installation, so my tune ups this fall and next spring are all set. I was so happy with them and definitely recommend them again. My new thermostat tracks the energy usage from the system and if I put in the kw/hr cost, they can give me a running estimate of the cost for the month. It used $4 worth of energy to bring my 3000 sq ft house from 85 degrees to 70, and about $2 a day to keep it there on days where it was sunny and over 90 outside. I'm in love.

I had called Brennan’s to do the spring maintenance of our AC units. Brennan's sent Adam to service the units. We had purchased the upstairs unit from them about a year and half ago. The downstairs unit was old and on its last legs. From the moment he arrived Adam was polite, on time, and very professional. He serviced the new unit and proceeded to service the older one. He showed me where the coolant was a little low in the old unit. I told him that after purchasing the last unit we purchased a home warranty to cover the older unit. So I told him to just leave the unit and I would contact the home warranty company so all repairs would be covered under the $75 service fee. The warranty company sent another company out. As the service man proceed to check the unit i told him that I had someone else look at it and they noticed the coolant was low, so there was probably a leak. I asked him to check for the leak. He proceeded to check for the leak, but did not bother to tell me that he was going to add nitrogen to the coolant to test it. He just kept telling me that he needed to talk to his boss. I do not know if he ever reached his boss. The warranty company told me they would only cover a portion of any coolant that was needed. What the service man did not tell me was how much that would cost me. I thought an additional $100. After confirming there was a leak he told me they could fix it by replacing all the coils, but it was going to cost me an additional $900 to replace the coolant. I told him to forget it and just put the ac unit back on. I was not going to invest any more money in that unit. That is when he informed me that he could not turn it back on because he had put the nitrogen in the unit. Needless to say I was furious. The weather was in the 90s and he had made the unit unusable unless I paid him an additional $900. I called Brennan’s and told them I needed the new unit we had talked about when they had installed the other unit. Adam called me back immediately, he came over and reviewed all our options on units, pricing, rebates and financing. He was surprised when I told him that we had no AC because the other service man had put the nitrogen in the coolant to test it. He said nitrogen is not needed to test for leaks. Then scheduled the installation within a couple of days. Adam was fantastic to work with. Any time we have used Brennan’s we have been thrilled with the work, and the honesty and integrity of the people they hire.

Jeff The technician explained clearly why my unit wasn't working and explained my options clearly. I never felt pressured and I was able to talk to their accountant how to pay for a new unit. The installers worked quickly and did a terrific job explaining everything to me. I'm grateful for the Brennan professionals.

I am still using them. What I like about the provider is their quality and price. I have a three year package for spring and fall service.

We requested an annual service of our aging, 16 year old HVAC system. Brennan"s service rep, Adam, showed up on time, was extremely courteous and knowledgable. At my request he identified/highlighted and pointed out problems with the system and provided an estimate to replace the aging system. The service was not rushed and from my limited knowledge appeared very thorough. If all Brennan service reps are like Adam, I would strongly recommend Brennan's. Although we are going to get other estimates to replace our system, Brennan's estimates appear reasonable. If the other estimates come in around the same price for the same type systems, we will go with Brennan's, because of this experience with their company, the type systems they offer, their no interest financing options, discounts, and the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Angies List. Bottom line -- Brennan's appears to be a great company based on the above.
