Description of Work: APEX replaced a curved metal roof over a bay window in our town home. The roof leaked during Hurricane Sandy causing damage to the walls of our kitchen. APEX also removed the damaged dry wall and insulation in the kitchen and completed inside repairs. The estimator, Raphael, arrived very quickly after the storm and was also present periodically during the work to ensure quality control. We had two crews, one inside and one outside. The repairs were supposed to take one day. The inside work (removal of dry wall and insulation, and inspection for damage the new insulation and new dry wall - paint-ready) was completed on time. The roof took two days because the contractor ran into a challenge matching the curve of the roof with the metal sheeting. APEX wanted to use a thicker grade of metal but it would not bend to the roof's curve. APEX came back the second day, at no cost to me, with a thinner metal that did bend as needed. Overall the work was done on time and there were no extra costs. The crew was on-time and professional and the finished work is very good. We were pleased with the job they did.
