I called Dan, got requested a quote. Came over the same day. Gave me a good fair estimate. Next day let me know when he was coming. Came over, him and his team, wore mask (COVID), were professional. The did NOT tear up the yard. They dug a into the ground found the broken pipe repaired it. Were very quick and efficient. I would say in and out in less then 90 minutes.. If you have a leak or pipe needs in your yard..this IS the company to call.

I could not be happier with this service. It was not a good time for an emergency home repair, but Dan came out promptly (after hours the same day as my call. Their competitors did not offer this). American Plumbing gave me a fair estimate FAR below the other 3 quotes I gathered, and they completed the work on time, on budget and with the highest quality workmanship. I had water pipe break in my house. I called many well known companies in area and i was not happy with any one of them for various reasons (Professionalism, attitude, experience, way of approaching to resolve the issue, cost, …). Finally I posted for recommendation for plumbing in our community website, I am extremely happy that I called American Pluming company based on recommendation that I received. American Plumbing, Inc. did a great job. The entire crew was very professional and meticulous with their work. The leak I had was directly under my house which is built on a concrete slab, so it was a tricky job. They had to run a whole new line from the water company meter to the middle of my house. I'd rate them A+.

I am a Realtor of 17 years and I have to say this company was an A++ from beginning to end. My house was under contract and during the home inspection the buyers asked for the main water pipe from my underground basement to the street to be replaced because it was made of polybutylene material that is susceptible to bursting. I was super bummed because I know this can easily a $5000 fix-and that was a number that came up several times as I called around. A trusted neighbor mentioned Dan and how amazing his work was and how reasonable his prices were. My interactions with Dan and his team from start to finish were flawless-total professionals! American Plumbing quoted the best price for the job. They arrived on time, worked quickly and did the job as promised. The workers were professional and we are very satisfied with the results. The work passed inspection on the first try and they came back to finish up. Everything looks just as it did before the work was done, with the exception of shiny new copper pipe instead of the old polybutylene. Highly recommend.

It went great...American Plumbing was professional, responsive, and did a great job. They are very experienced at this type of work, they found the underground leak and replace the water line with minimum disruption. I was only without water to my house for half of one day, and their clean up after the job was done was perfect...It was hard to tell they had been there. I would hire them again without hesitation.

The details: After posting our problem, American Plumbing called immediately and offered help. The owner of the business arrived within two hours of our posting, exactly when he said he would. He listened to everything we said. He began work immediately and investigated thoroughly. He showed us that we do NOT have a problem with our main line and that any leak would be coming from somewhere else. He then restored our water service and informed us very well about what to do next. He did all this for us, people he didn't know from a hole in the ground, on a Friday afternoon thereby saving us from what would otherwise have been a waterless weekend.

I hired American Plumbing to replace my main water service line. Dan came out to provide an estimate on the same day I called and was able to do the work later that same week. Dave and team arrived on time the day the work was to be done and did an amazing job from beginning to end. They carefully excavated a large bush that was near the house and ran the new line completely underground from the water main at the street to the front of the house, keeping the sidewalk and yard unharmed. Inside they house, they thoughtfully placed the new shut-off so that it would not interfere with other uses of my basement, and carefully removed the drywall so it could be easily returned to place. After the work was done, I can truly say that someone driving by the house would have no idea that any work had been done, the bush had been put back in place and even the mulch looked like it was hardly disturbed. I can't say enough how satisfied I am with the result.

Cannot say enough about Dan and the whole crew from American Plumbing. They provided excellent service in our time of need. On Monday he water service line from the street to the house had its third failure which resulted in a minor flood in my basement and a total loss of water to my house. This was a problem as we have a toddler, newborn, my wife, my mother-in-law, and myself here - with no water. Attempted to utilize the insurance we have through Dominion Power and the company was not responsive to our urgent need for replacement due to a lack of water. So I called Dan - he answered the phone and was at our house to survey the situation within a few hours. He provided a quick estimate to do the work at a reasonable price. He even offered to hold the following morning open for the replacement as I attempted to work with the insurance company. Needless to say that didn't work and I called Dan. He kept his word and had the crew out early the following morning. Dave and the crew had our water back on by 2:00pm that day and after the county inspection had the holes backfilled and my property looking as good as new the following day. I cannot say enough about Dan, Dave, and the whole crew at American Plumbing Inc. - they are a true diamond in the rough and if you are having issues with your water line you need to give him a call!

From the minute I talked with Dan on the phone, I knew that I was in great hands! He came out quickly to survey the problem, gave me an estimate for the work that was far below what I expected, and lined up to have the water line replaced as soon as possible. Despite temperatures outside well below freezing, the crew showed up the next day cheerful and ready to work. Dan,Dave and party did a amazing job. They were punctual, professional and had very good expertise on the work. They fixed the issues with the minimum possible damage. They are very friendly as well. They even fixed another issue with my kitchen sink which wasn’t part of the initial contract without extra charges. I would definitely work with them for my next projects and highly recommend them

Dan and Company are Wonderful!!! Came out to inspect on a Friday and first recommended a repair until I suggested to replace. His company will not try to convince you to do what is not necessary. Work was completed by the following Wednesday including the inspection. American is the most professional and conscientious company. Team American Plumbing, Inc. was excellent. Came out for an estimate on Wednesday and did the work on Friday. They called Miss Utility (I didn't have to). Made all the arrangements and kept me apprised of work to be done. All of their team worked tirelessly and in a professional manner. They had to hand dig large holes waist deep - three holes. When they were finished, I couldn't even tell they had dug the yard! awesome work.

American Plumbing had an approach to fixing the issue that was 30% that of other bids. Their approach worked well and solved the problem. They provided a fixed price for 2 scenarios they thought they might encounter and when it looked like the more expensive scenario was best worked to reduce the cost to less than what they had initially expected. They were prompt in responding at all times and kept me informed about progress along the way.
