We removed all the carpeting from the upstairs, 3 bedrooms and hallway; including tack strips etc and old tile in upstairs bathroom and stairs. Purchased the hardwood from Lumber Liquidators; Brazilian Cherry for the whole upstairs and living room and dining room on main floor. Ed and crew came in and installed the upstairs floors beautifully as well as the stairway. Then we were able to transfer furniture to the upstairs rooms while they removed the older wood floor from the hallway, kitchen and small bath and the living and dining room. Then they installed the same Cherry in the living room and dining room and stairs to basement. The previous flooring was installed improperly based upon the joist runs and Absolute installed the new floors properly. They removed the really gross old wood floors from the hallway, small bath and kitchen. Then they installed the ceramic tile we purchased properly with the joist runs down the hallway, small bath and in the kitchen. They worked with our schedule of other construction people to make the townhouse beautiful. They were timely, and professional. I would recommend them to do flooring anytime!

I scheduled David to come out a couple of different times and he was great to work with. He did need to reschedule a few times but I was ok with it considering the many questions I had. The team that came out and installed the carpet were professional and the installation was seamless.

The team over at absolute flooring is THE BEST. The original contract to replace the carpeting on the stairs was tied to a custom built in cabinet with the carpenters from Orion Home Improvements. Once the carpenter began removing the carpet on the stairs it was decided to upgrade the railing and the floor in upstairs hallway which became more than the carpenter and Orion wanted to tackle. This is when Edhwuar from Absolute flooring stepped in on recommendation from Orion Home Improvements. Edhwuar went through samples of wood, stain, finish, railings and balusters and found products that tied in nicely to the first floor materials which were not going to be changed. The price was reasonable, they showed up on time and Tony the field supervisor made sure that the installation crew was doing things the right way. The custom built in cabinetry is amazing and the flooring is beautiful. We will recommend Absolute Flooring to anyone who needs floor services.

The estimator came on 10/13/2014 to take measurements. He promised an email with the quote by 10/15/2014 the latest. I called on 10/17/2014 asking on where the quote is. They sent me the quote late on 10/17. The price was about 62% higher than 5 other competitors that are also listed on Angie's List with HIGH RATINGS based on MORE reviews than what this company had. When I told him that, he sent me an email with the message "LOL". I'm not sure what this LOL was all about, but if he wants to laugh out loud for not being competitive, then he can go ahead and do that. When he's out of business tomorrow for not having many customers due to over pricing his work, then we'll see who will LOL. Also, if I were a professional company, which this one seems like it's not, I WOULD NOT be sending my potential customers an email saying "LOL" when the potential customer gives them their feedback. The labor might be ok, I don't know because I didn't hire them. Since price is a MAJOR factor for me, and for everyone who thinks of fixing their home, I would not suggest this company for inexpensive, and COMPETITIVE pricing. The price was NOT COMPETITIVE because out of 8 contractors that I called for pricing, Absolute Flooring was the ONLY ONE with an UNREALISTIC offer. The 7 other contractors proposed prices that were 50% or more LOWER than Absolute Flooring.

Edwhar and his guys did a great job installing our hardwood flooring. The price was reasonable and they completed the job in a professional and timely manner.

Edwhar's team removed the existing water damaged wood; cleaned the subfloor; and installed 175 sq ft of Shaw Tocoa engineered planks. After I tried to get the floor up myself and then left cardboard on the sticky floor they had to deal with getting that up. The old wood came out easier. They performed the job quickly and efficiently. Edwhar knows his business and knows exactly what is needed before the job starts so everything is known ahead of time. If I need any more work done I will be a returning customer.

Absolute flooring installed for us engineered hardwood flooring in our unit and did a superb job. Over a year later and the floors are still in great shape. Excellent installation, no complaints. Ed and his team were professional, punctual, and courteous. Couldn't recommend them more.

He knows his craft inside and out, provides excellent customer service, and will get your project done when you want and how you want. I've used Absolute Flooring twice in the past six months - both times under very challenging time constraints and Ed came through. I'm moving into a new home next month and Ed will be the first contractor I call.

Absolute Flooring is the absolute best flooring company there is in the area! I was very pleased with the entire process from beginning to end. Very knowledgeable, courteous crews, reliable, affordable. Stop your search and call this company, you will not be disappointed.

They arrived on time, and went to work assessing the spots. What they could get out with solution, they did. For the stains that could not be removed, they helpfully--and successfully--suggested cutting out those pieces and replacing them with some carpeting from a closet. It worked out great, and you can't tell anything is different throughout the carpet. The carpeting was fairly new, so we didn't want to have to replace the whole thing. We are very happy with the results.

They did an excellent job my wife loves the wool carpet. They were very professional on the install. They eliminated all the squeaky floors.

We decided with our circumstances not to go with them. They were courteous and came really late at night. It just didn't work out but they seemed to be really good guys. We had no complaints but it didn't work out. They came out about a week after we called them. They were nice and seemed to know their stuff. The guy in charge of the drywall didn't seem like he was trying to rush through the job. They seemed like pretty decent guys. We would get another estimate from them. There was an issue because we were working through our insurance company because we had a flooded basement. They seemed to be a little leery about signing any paperwork. We don't know if they didn't know what it was.

From start to finish a delightful experience! Reasonable prices, excellent quality, punctuality, knowledge of their trade. Every crew member is courteous, helpful, handy and friendly. They clean up after themselves too! (Always a plus) I highly recommend Absolute to anyone that is need of any flooring help! I have recommended them in the past and only have gotten positive comments about Edwhar and his crews. Everything has gone well so far. I am scheduled and they are supposed to start on the 12th. They have been very courteous and flexible so far. He really knows his business. I am excited to see the finished job.
