Description of Work: B-Dry did a professional job in both assessing our situation and in installing internal water channels and sump pump systems.

Description of Work: B-Dry installed a basement waterproofing system in my primary residence: constructed a trench and drainage system around the interior perimeter my house; installed a sump pump and an optional Blue Canyon Healthy Home system (a dual ventilation system) The work was very professional and timely.

Description of Work: Dug out 6' down outside chimney, replaced fireplace footer and installed moisture barrier to prevent water from coming into our basement fireplace. The saga of my leaky basement fireplace is a long one that started back in January of 2013, and since the previous owners had a basement drain and sump pump system installed by B-dry, we used them exclusively because we had a lifetime warranty. However, after several ineffective attempts to patch up things on the inside to stop water from coming in, we figured out that the fireplace was not included in the sub-floor drain system (it went around the front of the fireplace, not sure who's great idea that was), and so water was just pooling underneath the fireplace for an unknown reason. It took many calls and much back and forth to get B-Dry to come out for those initial service calls under the warranty, and even more back and forth to agree on a true fix to the basement leaking (which did cost us $, because again, it wasn't part of the original work). After a 6 month process of patches, they come out to dig down outside the house to find that there was no footer at the base of one side of our chimney. I commend them for the work the did that day, coming early on a Saturday, removing our troublesome holly bushes to access the dirt below (and hauling them away!), and quickly building a footer when they hadn't planned on pouring cement that day. The work was well done, and we haven't had a leak since, even with our recent monsoon-like later summer/early fall rains. They're not the easiest to get a hold of, and I bet they're not the cheapest, but they got the job done well and I have another lifetime warranty on my fireplace to show for it. I'd use them again.

Description of Work: BDry installed a new basement walk out the had only on small drain that was not able to be cleared by placement a new french drain and other outlets for drain of rain fall. On the other side of the house, BDry removed old aggregate that tilted TOWARD the house, thereby causing flooding because it caught run off from the house next door and installed new aggregate that partially tilted away from the house allowing rain rainoff to drain down to the driveway. They did a great job.

Description of Work: They supported a wall that was sagging, they installed a complete water proofing system with the wall panels, and a back up sump pump.

Description of Work: They failed to complete the project as agreed to. They left a big gap in the wall that went undetected until winter and our pipes froze. They refused to come and repair it or even to look at it. I had another contractor take a look at it and take pictures to confirm the problem. He confirmed that the problem was due to poor work that B-Dry had performed In addition they were slow and also very unprofessional in addition to the very bad work. I had to have the other contractor complete the work at my expense. When I challenged the bill, they sent me to a collection agency sand refused to even discuss it. Even the collection attorney sympathisized with me and the bill was reduced by 6,000 from the orginial $16,000 amount. I have no doubt that I would have won a lawsuit and my contractor wanted me not to pay them at all. However, I just wanted it over since I had been trying to get them to finish the project for months. NEVER use them.

Description of Work: they removed concrete along inside wall at front of house and installed drain system and sump pump to drain water that was seeping thru walls.Very messy process with noise of jack hammers and dust.system works great.have not ha any water since job was completed.

Description of Work: I had interior drains installed and a new sump pump. They dug up the concrete around the interior perimeter of my basement, installed drain pipes, and a new sump pump. All parts of the process went pretty well. The sales person was nice, informative and not too pushy. They offered decent long term financing options and were able to get my job done quickly and on time. The work crew was very professional, showed up when they were supposed to and called if they were running behind. However, I wish they would have laid plastic down on the carpet to avoid getting it dirty from dirt, mud, concrete debris from the work. Now, I have to have it cleaned. I also wish they did not cut as much dry wall. I thought it was going to be closer to 6 inches, but they definitely took about a foot of drywall and studs, which of course, the customer has to replace. Overall I am happy with my experience and have not had a problem since installation. And, we had a huge rain storm shortly after installation and there was no evidence of water. The basement does not have the same heavy, mildew smell as before.

Description of Work: Came to dig up system already put in made a total mess of my floors and didn't clean it up and made mess putting the concert back down big mess inherent the system with the purchase of the house mud though out the house doors and wall messey work was not done well

Description of Work: B-Dry had previously installed 2 sump pumps in the window wells outside my basement. During the torrential floods/rains a couple of weeks ago, one died. I called B-DRY in a panic, they came out the next day and replaced the pump. Left a bill for $1045.00! After some internet research, I discovered that I could have bought the pump off the shelf at my local hardware store for under $200. So they charged me $850 to unplug an old pump and drop in a new one! After a series of calls with B-DRY, they admitted that the $1045 included their lifetime guarantee on labor for the unit, which comes with a MANUFACTURER'S lifetime warranty. They agreed to knock of $400 for their labor warranty. Still, $450 to drop in a new sump pump which took all of 30 minutes! Virginia has an anti-gouging law specifically designed to address this type of charging after a natural disaster like floods. They will be hearing from me.

Description of Work: My basement had water to the high water table in Arlington. B-Dry came and installed a french drain in the basement as well as a sump pump. They also did a series of exterior drainage improvements. They took care of the problem comprehensively.
