Chris and the crew that did the work were exceptional. We wish we would have had this done with Sidney Enterprises 10 years ago. Everyone who sees our new kitchen are amazed.

Chris Cardinale was a joy to work with. He was thoughtful about costs and had skilled workers and subcontractor (although 2 very good carpenters quit during the job). He made thoughtful suggestions on aesthetic issues.

Contractor was professional. Everything was done to perfection and very meticulously.

Great, we hope to use their services again in the future. Chris our GC listened to our wants and came up with a plan that was exactly what we wanted. Initially we wanted a 4 piece in our expanded master bath, but the space was too small to accommodate 4 pieces, we ended up with an extra large shower, duel sinks in a solid wood vaniety. Marble tile basket weave floor and a subway tile shower with a marble accent piece. Both baths were redone using the same marble tile flooring and subway tile. The hall bath, all components were replaced with no changes to foot print of the existing bath. Our workers Alan and Craig were outstanding craftsmen with great attention to detail. They came from Charleston with restoration experience. A few minor issues required the guys to come back and repair some cracked and chipped tile during installation, with no complaints or extra charges in cost. Sidney Enterprises comes highly recommended by us.

They gave me a reasonable price offer. They started work when promised. They worked through several rainy days to stay on schedule. They asked questions when needed to make sure they were doing what we wanted. The workmanship was excellent.

We recently purchased a much older home in Clarke County that was in dire need of a new kitchen. We hired Chris Cardinale and Sidney Enterprises after receiving estimates from a number of local contractors because of his experience, his understanding of our wants and needs, his reasonable estimate, and his ability to translate our vision into our dream kitchen. We selected the perfect general contractor ? Chris and Sidney Enterprises did an incredible job! The work started on time and stayed on schedule in spite of bad weather and ?unforeseen circumstances? that are expected in a home this old (Pre-1770)! The job was to build an entire new kitchen addition that needed siding, a new porch, windows, and stone foundation. The job also included removal of the old kitchen walls (thick plaster with on-site made bricks behind the plaster as insulation), floors and ceilings, installing a new foundation, removal of a load-bearing wall and the installation of an unobtrusive support system, and state of the art plumbing and electric systems. Following this, Chris met us several times on the weekend to pick out the cabinets and marble countertops and gave us great advice on those. Chris communicated with us during every step of this renovation ? he kept us updated on the progress and made sure that we were aware of and understood any problems or issues that had come up ? with recommendations on how to best address them. Another area where we were really impressed with Chris and his crews were their efforts to maintain the look and feel of our older home by using materials and techniques that closely matched the original. They reused the original wood, etc. when possible and worked with mills in the local area to source and re-use other wood. The final results, as you can see in the attached pictures, are breathtaking.

When work was done Owner came out to inspect the work to make sure it up to his standards.

Chris emailed us via Angie's List after the review regarding missing the appointment and not following through was posted. He did arrive on time and gave us our quote within 24 hours.

We scheduled a time to meet with provider to give us a quote on a simple remodel. The provider, Chris Cardinale, did not show up for the set appointment nor did he contact us at any time to change or apologize for not showing up.

They had a nice website and the estimator was very personable. He got the estimate back to us within 2 weeks of visiting our home.

I chose another builder because of the special problems we have with flooding in the basement and that was the main consideration in the decision ; however, we received a very fair and quick estimate from Sydney Enterprises, who would have built the deck two weeks from the time of the agreement being signed and finished two weeks after that.

Chris was great to work with. He was very professional and always punctual which is difficult to find anymore in a contractor. Although the total job was only about 3 or 4 days, he kept in contact with me to insure I was up to date on the progress and in the evenings he would follow up to receive feedback on the project. I would certainly recommend Chris to anyone needing any type of home repair. You can't find people now a days like him or his assistant who was extremely polite and courteous.

I found Sidney Enterprises eight months into a year-long home renovation. During our kitchen remodel, our cabinet designer had recommended them for the install. Their attention to detail and quality of work during the install led to additional requests for their services. They ultimately became responsible for the entire kitchen remodel and did a remarkable job. Chris and Jeff are responsive, reasonably priced, listen to the homeowner's requests and make great recommendations based on the vision for the project. Two distinguishing factors from previous contractors I've used is that they take a broad view of a project before starting, rather than treating it as something that simply needs to be finished. This saved time and money in the long run and the results showed the pride they take in their work. Second, after they start they focus on every small detail. For instance, they recommended and installed an extra trim piece to make the cabinetry perfectly encase the refrigerator. The kitchen came out better than I anticipated. The remodel was challenging and included the removal of a pantry, installing cabinets to the ceiling along uneven walls, plumbing the dishwasher and installing the faucet, installing a range hood that required additional duct work, and installing and grouting a back splash. Notably, the project involved significant electrical work that neither my electrician nor my appliance installers seemed capable of mastering. Because of the scope of this home renovation and the amount invested, prior to finding Sidney Enterprises I used Angie's List and tried to find the best electrician/ plumber/ contractor/ framer/ painter to handle each project. As I used Sidney Enterprises for more of the projects, I began to realize they were outperforming the "best" I had found on Angie's List. Instead of trying to coordinate a number of contractors' schedules, I coordinated with Chris and Jeff and knew that I was getting the best for each facet of the project. Over the last eight months, I have used 21 contractors and would put Sidney Enterprises at the top of that list.
