Description of Work: They pumped out my septic tank. The job was difficult because of the septic tank being at the base of a hill causing the height the sewage need to be pumped to exceed the pumper trucks ability. The truck operator spoke to a neighbor and secured permission to locate the pumper truck on his property to pump my sewage. I was impressed by the operators initiative and effort to go beyond what was expected in order to solve my problem. Will utilize these guys in the future.

However, they quoted a price of about half of what was estimated and then they proceeded with work and credit card charges without advising that it would cost more. Therefore I would not recommended them or use them again,

Description of Work: Came at promised time to clear blocked kitchen drain. Blockage was obviously right at the drain as the 9other side if the double sink ran freely. After completion of service call I noticed a charge on my bill for "little snake - $35". When questioned as to why the customer should be charged a surcharge for the use of a snake to clear a drain blockage, Powell supervisor became became belligerant. Promised to refund $35 charge, but invited me never to call Powell again. Promised refund has not been received.

+ -1 moreThe plumber (Sean) showed up on time with his helper. He verified the location of the leak (I had already found it), removed the defective fitting, and replaced it. He had all the parts and tools he needed with him and did a good job in a reasonable amount of time.

+ -1 moreThe service showed up when promised, with a phone call in advance to ensure we were home. The head guy found our septic tank entry with no problem and minimal digging. This is a property with 2 residences on it, both using the same well, so the assumption was that both were using the same septic tank. Not true! When we realized this, the provider was willing to stay and locate the other tank, then pump it. Very friendly and helpful people. Follow up call to ensure service was good.
