Old World Stone and Tile

Went very well. Prompt, reasonable cost, excellent work. This work was done almost a decade ago and it has continued to be excellent. No problems and has been a real pleasure to use.

I am happy I hired Corey. His work was well done. He was punctual and considerate. The house was cleaned at the end of each day. He takes his time and does the job right. There were a few unanticipated subfloor issues that he easily handled. I recommend him without qualification.

Now I'm starting over with another contractor. I hope Corey had me purchase the correct amount of tile. This project should have been done months ago. His delays and unwillingness to complete the job have been very inconvenient. Apparently, others have had a positive experience (assuming the reviews are genuine), but I have less confidence in Angie's List than before.

Because of a leak in my master shower, it was necessary to tear out the tile and replace the moisture barrier and then install new tile. Corey is every bit the professional in his demeanor, knowledge, and skills. He suggested where I could look for the new tile and recommended a new shower enclosure to update my shower's appearance. He is a very neat, meticulous worker, cleaning up at the end of every day. The old tile was removed half-way up the wall without damaging the remaining tile. He replaced the sheet rock, drain cover and moisture barrier before installing the new tile. All my questions were patiently and thoroughly answered. My and quot;newand quot; shower looks beautiful, and the floor's slope is great. My next door neighbor who is a civil engineer was very impressed with the quality of his work.

Corey is a true professional. We contacted him for an estimate based on his Angie's List reviews. Corey was very responsive and set up an appointment to look at the job, measure and provide a labor and materials quote (less tile). He provided an estimate within a day. After comparing with others, Corey offered to most complete job at the best price. We scheduled the work and Corey arrived on time and went right to work. The total job took 3.5 days which was right in line with his estimate. Corey worked with precision and was very detailed in his cuts to work around an irregular shaped kitchen with a large center island. Corey worked with us and provided great advice regarding the grout color that would best compliment the tile we had chosen.....his suggestion was spot on and we love the variation of color the lighter grout he recommended provided. At the end of each day, Corey completely cleaned up all scrap material and left a very orderly job site each day. We cannot say enough good things about our experience and the beautiful work Corey provided. If you are looking for stone or tile work, this is the man to call.

Things went very well. Removal of old fixtures was done in a very organized manner. The job took 5 days and the jobsite was kept extremely clean and organized. All debris was removed when promised.

Corey initially came to install ceramic tile in our master bathroom. Whoever installed the previous vinyl tile had used lots of staples. Corey removed all the staples which wasn't going to be done by the other estimates we received. He arrived exactly at the time he said he would and was very professional. We had purchased the tile and while they all looked the same, we actually purchased different lot numbers so Corey took the tiles and exchanged them so they'd all match exactly. The first day Corey laid the tile. At this time we also asked him to give us an estimate to complete the bathroom floor in our basement. The day Corey came back to grout the master bathroom floor, he also installed tile in our basement bathroom. Overall, he was very professional and I felt he went above and beyond what anyone else would've done.

Corey helped identtify the type of tile that I described to him. He gave me ideas on how to make my vision better. He gave me an estimate. We agreed on a date and he showed up on time. He worked straight through until the work was done. He was neat and polite. Very comfortable to have in your home. He left everything cleaned up and tidy. Very professional. I would use him again and recommend him to everyone.
