Kris' Painting Service, Inc.

We hired Kris' Painting Service to paint our deck/screened porch with a colored sealant. At first we were happy with their responsiveness and thought their quote was a good deal. As the project went on we were less happy with their communication and by the end of the project their overall quality of work. The door to the screened area needed to be replaced and they said no problem. They left the old door in our yard. Not very professional. They also told us there were multiple color options for the type of sealant but never asked us what color we wanted. Just didn't seem ask communicative once they signed us on and we sent in the deposit. The last thing is the new door was painted on most of the surfaces but they didn't paint between the wood and the screen. I understand this would be difficult but that's why we hired professionals. If it cost more, tell us and we'll pay for it but don't leave a half painted door. They also didn't install hardware on the door which again just seems like something they should have included.

Kris is a very personable contractor. He is very busy, but once he got here to do the deck repair and staining it was obvious why he's so busy. Great quality work from him and his employees. We would definitely use him again.

Very nice team to work with Clean neat and respectful

After many delays caused by our rains in May, Kris'screw arrive at our house last Wednesday morning. For the next two days there was almost non stop activity and, at the end, our house emerged looking fantastic. The finished product really exceeded all our expectations and I plan to call on Kris for any painting and related home improvements I need in the future.

I will give Kris' Painting Service 4 stars overall. First, the good points. The painters were friendly, courteous, moved furniture carefully and put everything back in place correctly. They patched up cracks in the seams and walls as the house has settled over the past several years. The workmanship was good and I can see the precision made in the painting. A second team was sent on the last day and the project was done ahead of schedule. The house looks great with the new colors. I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately I have to downgrade the score due to poor scheduling and a lack of overall communication. Originally, this project was scheduled to begin in early May. I had sent an email to Kris on the Wednesday before the scheduled start date to find out the time to expect them, where they planned to begin, etc. After no response for 2 days, I sent a text to him on Friday. Late Saturday, I finally received a response from Kris stating that his last painting project took longer than expected and that he'll have to push it to the following week. Unfortunately, that meant that I needed to scramble to re-arrange someone to watch my cats during the days the painters were around. There was another miscommunication in which the colors in a couple rooms and hallway were switched and needed to be redone the following day in the correct colors. If you are able to be flexible with your schedule, then Kris' Painting Service can do a fine job. However, I would not recommend them if you need to keep to a stricter time table.

These guys went out of there way to take care of all my concerns with minor repairs, nail pops, tape issues, etc. They were professional, on time and worked until the job was done. I definitely recommend them.

They were able to complete the job with a short turnaround and excellent quality. Definitely would recommend them to a friend.

Five stars across the board! This is a small business where the owner truly cares about the customer and the work. The job was done on time, on budget, and with the highest quality. Even some unexpected challenges on the job were handled cheerfully and professionally. I am an interior designer, and will definitely be hiring this company again in the near future.

Kris, the owner of Kris' Painting Service, Inc. is very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic about his craft taking pride in his work. His large crew was very professional, prompt, and spent nearly a week painting the exterior of our house. The team was efficient and attentive to our needs. Kris made sure we were happy making touch-ups and even did some extra things not in the contract (for example, closing the large gaps between the bay window and the stone facade) which were not in the contract. At the time of signing the contract, his quote was a bit higher than most of the quotes we got, be we make our decision based on the interview we had and don't regret our decision (we have some experience with such projects as our house has been painted before three times). Kris also coated the concrete floor in our garage. He did it personally as our second project--looks good!

Kris is extremely professional. We were extremely happy with how quickly our deck was resurfaced and final results.

Kris was extremely professional, competent, and conscientious. He made the extra steps to make sure we were happy with the work done by him and his crew. He even came back to our home personally to touch up and/or finish areas that were missed initially. So many of the companies we called didn't even return calls, or showed up late for estimates, or didn't show up and didn't call. Kris came when planned, provided protection for the surrounding areas, did an excellent job repairing and painting, and cleaned up before leaving. Kris has our highest recommendation, and we've recommended him to our friends. We would certainly use him again because he takes pride in his work.

Kirs transformed my "fixer upper" by painting the kitchen cabinets, interior walls/trim and garage floor and made it feel like a new home. I highly recommend him for a quality job at a fair price. He takes pride in his work and it shows!

We found Kris through recommendations from our neighborhood app. Kris and his crew did a wonderful job painting our entire house. My home finally feels more complete. After the job he was great with following up and making sure every detail was perfect. He came back and pointed out things my husband and I had not caught and even fixed a brown leak spot on our ceiling due to a leaky pipe that broke and was fixed between the house being painted and his follow up visit. I really appreciate his attention to detail. I can finally enjoy being in my basement now that the walls are no longer a glossy white (which made it look greasy) to a beautiful flat finished light sea green. Kris was/is professional, courteous and walked me through the entire process from start to finish. My husband and I are so happy with our experience and quality of work we have also decided to have Kris refresh our kitchen cabinets and remodel our bathrooms!
