+ -1 moreMr. Hoyt was very good and came out to us in the evening, which was more convenient for as I commute. He was very willing to work with my old stove and understood that I wanted it repaired to "as good as new" condition. He was able to install the new circuit breaker and cleaned all the circuits and explained how to fix small repairs. I would certainly call him again for any large appliance repair.
Description of Work: Repaired my 1952 GE stove. I had bought this stove from a homeowner in Baltimore, but upon installation in my home in Virginia it wasn't quite right. I knew it worked but couldn't figure out what had happened between purchase and installation. Mr. Hoyt came out for the quoted price (a flat rate, plus any parts) amd did a thorough diagnostic. He realized that it was a breaker issue and not the stove. We needed a new circuit breaker, so he came back another evening with the part and charged me the actual part cost, with no extra charge for his second visit to install it. He even fixed the lighting on the stove that wasn't working before.

Description of Work: Called on 04/10/2013 and made appointment for the following day. Did NOT show up for appointment nor did he call. Very disappointed.

+ -1 moreRepair went very well. Darryl was very accomodating with scheduling appointment( we needed a late evening appt). He came in, made an assessment and also identified another problem that if left untreated would've been costly in the long run. In total, he had to make 3 separate visits, but did not charge any add'l cost and kept us informed of everything along the way. Very knowledegable repairman who was looking out for our best interests. Highly recommend him to others and would definitely use him again.He was extremently personable.
Description of Work: Needed to repair refrigerator water filter system and ice maker . Also replaced cooling system motor.
