Handyman Connection of Winchester

I worked with them one time. They did very good work. They are very high. I am an old man. My perspective's kind of twisted. I thought them expensive. Very good company but you pay for that quality. I would consider using them again but once again price would be something of a deterrent. For smaller projects, yes. Their name implies handymen Connection. If I'm going to do an additional house or something, there might not be the way to go but if I were to go to do something reasonably small in my home and I wanted it carefully done, I think that they would be an excellent choice.

Dave did a great job. A true professional, going the extra mile to ensure all was completed perfectly The chandelier that he re-hung was installed incorrectly by a previous company so it was nice to see how it was suppose to look! All went very smoothly and I was very happy with his work.

We used them a lot for various contracts. They send out different contractors, whether be electricians, or plumbers, and we have used them for a number of things. We are very happy with them. We haven't had any contractors which we would consider bad. It is nice to have one place to go to. If you have a neighbor who can recommend someone then it is easy, but if you are new to the area, then it is a good general area to go to.

I had an issue with one of my kitchen outlets. They were respectful of my work schedule and were able to come out and fix the problem without any problems. They workers were quiet and focused on their job. I enjoy working with them for the respect they show me and my house. They treat it as if it were their own, giving me options for fixing something that I might not have thought of to save money.

I purchased new lights for the exterior of my home. The front 3 were dusk-to-dawn and motion activated lights. The back light was dusk-to-dawn. He removed the 4 old ugly lights and replaced with the new lights I purchased. He also set up the dusk-to-dawn features and told me how they worked (again, I purchased these, not him, so I appreciate he read up on them). He did an excellent job and cleaned up after himself. The lights work perfectly! My home insurance company inspected my home and felt that the roof shingles were sticking up too much in a few places. The contractor also fixed the shingles so they were no longer sticking up. This work was not guaranteed since it was outside of their normal scope of work but I did not hear back from the insurance company so all is good.

Provider supplied all parts and labor and had everything with them. First things first, I felt they were extremely quick and everything was done perfectly! I am so pleased. My garage only had 2 lights so they installed 2 additional lights where I suggested. Also, the garage did not have any outlets on one side toward the garage entrance so they installed a brand new outlet on its own circuit. In addition, they installed another outlet on the complete opposite side of the garage in a really hard to get to spot for my chest freezer. This outlet was also on its own circuit as suggested by the contractor. They also labeled the new circuits in the circuit box. In the kitchen, my current over the range microwave was hardwired when I purchased the house. I could see the wires taped together in the cabinet above. I am replacing the microwave and need an outlet to plugin to. The contractor installed a new outlet using the existing wiring. And.. they didn't want me to be without a microwave so they scoured their truck for a plug and found one! They installed the plug on the existing outlet and it works perfectly. They even re-set the microwave clock. I felt the price was a little high but it's not like I could've done the work myself. This 2 person team got the job done insanely quickly and did phenomenal work so I am very pleased overall.

Very good. We discovered after purchasing the home that all the exterior hose bibs were connected to the soft water system. Therefore, the lawn was being watered with soft water which can hurt the lawn. We had the plumber bypass one hose bib so it was not connected to the soft water system.

Came home to a busted water line in the basement Wednesday, called that night and left message with a service. They returned my call the very next morning and came out promptly, fixed the issue quickly and cheaply. I have used this company many times before and have never been disappointed. Will use many times in the future.

Superb service, timely completion

From the start of this job, the office staff members were superb! The technician was competent, professional and on time. This is a well-oiled machine. Thank you for a job well done!!!

The handyman named David that was sent for the job was polite at first, then as the project continued on, made some rather off color comments that were unappreciated but ignored because I wanted the job finished. It took several days to complete the job and at the end, the job was NOT done right. The handyman was adamant that he had completed the service correctly and insisted that the door was faulty. I called Home Depot where I purchased the door, they sent 2 specialist out to the house and within 15 min they found that the door was indeed installed incorrectly. I called Handyman Connection and they sent David back out to fix the door, at no extra cost. He again made some off color remarks and again I ignored them because I just wanted the door fixed properly. I was still not satisfied when he finished, but he stated there was nothing else he could do. I waited a day or so then called the company back and insisted they send a different handyman out to correct the mistakes. The company asked for reasons why I was requesting someone else and I explained everything to them. The woman I spoke with was very apologetic and insisted that the problem would be addressed. A different handyman came out to correct the job and he did a wonderful job and was very polite. He refused to leave until I was completely satisfied. I am unsure if I would use this company again. If I do, I will request the second handyman that came out and did the job right.

The work was done professionally. Highly responsive and punctual. The price turned out to be much higher than we expected.

Terry was great, very pleasant. He did the work the same day he came out. Was done within a couple hours. Price was great. My husband went under and inspected his work and he was very pleased. Very clean he cleaned up all of the trash that may had been left behind.

First off my house is almost 100 years old. So never the norm, but they handled it well. Finished product looks great.
