We appreciate you contacting our office regarding your project - The project you contacted us about was a larger remodeling project and we schedule those projects differently than small to medium size home repairs. (For small to medium size home repairs, we can usually schedule an appointment within 1 to 3 days of a customer’s initial call. Also for small to medium size projects, we typically present the price the same day, and if the price is acceptable to you, the craftsman is prepared to start the project right away.) For larger remodeling projects – each remodeling project starts by meeting with one of our project managers for a free onsite evaluation. A larger remodeling project requires additional time and attention, therefore our remodeling schedule does book out at times (Especially during peak season when you contacted our office). In the event we have to schedule out a couple weeks with a customer for a free evaluation, during the initial phone call, our office advises the customer up front that we are booked out and offer our 1st opening. To address the estimate you received, the estimate wasn’t “wrong”, instead after receiving the estimate, you requested some revisions be made. Again for a larger remodeling project, we are used to working with the customer and going through revisions - The revisions may be one or many and a result of a new idea, a change of mind or working to get within a set budget. During the time of working with us on the revisions, you made us aware of a change in your time frame and wanted to expedite the project. Unfortunately we were not able to assist with this due to our current schedule at the time and we understand your need to cancel.
