Handyman Connection of Winchester

Description of Work: I called them to repair/reconstruct/restore walls/floors/vinyl that was exposed to a water leak from my steam dryer. They suggested that I call a company that worked with finding water or moisture in the aforementioned. After that company came to my house and gave me a written estimate, I sent the estimate to Handyman Connection so that they could compile their estimate for the reconstruction. I was told that the person who handled that had been off from work for medical reasons, and that they would provide that estimate to me that week. I waited until that Friday and asked if the estimate had been compiled, and they said that the responsible person was trying to catch up on work, and they would call me back that Friday afternoon to let me know if it was possible or not to get that estimate soon. Nobody called me back. On Tuesday of the next week, I called and left a message to see if any effort had been made to provide the estimate. The receptionist called me back, left a message and said that they didn't know if they could work up the estimate, and asked me if I was still interested in them providing that estimate. I called them back and left a message that I was still interested. Here it is 2 weeks later, and I still haven't heard anything from them. This has caused a lot of wasted time for me to get this estimate to Samsung, the responsible company for paying for this mishap. I have moved on to another company that has provided the estimate for me...I guess I'll never know the reason why I couldn't get a response from them in a reasonable time as to whether they could provide the estimate. I totally was planning to have Handyman Connection to do the reconstruction.

Description of Work: The first time I called I needed a downspout unclogged. A week later I needed a broken water pipe repaired. Both repairman were very polite. They answered all of my questions and also gave me suggestions on how to prevent future issues. I would definitely recommend Handyman Connection.

Description of Work: We had to have the hinges put on an interior door and hung. They had to cut out for the hinges on the replacement door we had purchased. That went smoothly. We had to have a toilet tank reseated and the interior float replaced. I had to go to the store because something didn't fit correctly with the replacement part we had purchased. Then everything went smoothly. We had a wall mount TV holder for a 60" flat screen TV mounted on the wall and the TV put on the mount. The parts were very heavy, but they accomplished it, it just took some time. The 2 workmen were very nice and professional.

Description of Work: Installed three exterior doors that were an odd size. Technician was on time and did a great job. Very easy to work with. Office staff was very responsive as well.

Description of Work: I hired Handyman Connection to replace/install a new door with jamb on the side of my garage. They initially came out and gave me an estimate and then scheduled a date that was convenient to me. I had two other estimates that were priced the same or $50 higher, but one was a no show and the other did not look to confident in his ability. |The licensed installer came out and removed the old damaged door and jamb and replaced it with a new one that I had previously purchased. Everything was done correctly and all materials were cleaned up. They did a great job!

Description of Work: Repaired hole in one drywall in garage from leak in pipe. Provider had to provide a full sheet of drywall (only needed less than 1/4 of sheet) plaster and tape.

Description of Work: Handyman Connection has done two jobs, so far. They installed a new back door plus three interior doors the first time. The second time, was to replace a bad gutter, seal off some pipes that kept freezing in the winter, and install vents + drywall in a bathroom ceiling. All jobs were done exactly as requested with exceptional skill and precisely to the time and expense in the estimate. There is a reason I keep using Handyman Connection.

Description of Work: I had flood damage in my basement that needed to be repaired. Drywall replacement and repair as well as all new baseboard installation. The craftsman did a fantastic job and he did it quickly. I could not ask for more.
