The job proved more complicated than expected for several reasons. However, the end result is a first-class installation per my specs that looks great and functions well. The crew of three could not have been more courteous and responsive. The cost was as agreed in the proposal. I expect to call on this company again later this month.

I have used Williamsburg Maintenance twice, and I highly recommend them. They have worked in my kitchen, a bedroom, and two bathrooms. The owner and his manager are very professional and detail-oriented. They are punctual and efficient, and do an excellent job. In addition, they have taken the time to answer my questions on how to fix small things on my own, and their clean-up is absolutely fantastic - all greatly appreciated! They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with the entire experience - a standout in the field.

Very smoothly. The new area is bright and open and fits well with the existing architecture. Process went smoothly with no interruption to our daily household functioning despite the fact that the window is in our kitchen. Cost of project met our expectations and was same as estimate. Work site was clean and secure.

Perfectly! We were delighted at the crew's expertise, courtesy, professionalism and pride in their work. They were quick to find the leak, fix it and then patch the ceiling, with beautiful results. At the same time, they were patient in answering my questions. The cost was very reasonable, and the crew were cutomer-oriented, fast and expert. Then what? Then I immediately contacted their shop to schedule another job.

Arrived early,worked straight through and finished in less than a day. Had all necessary supplies and cleaned up when work complete. Came back after roof passed rain test and efficiently put the "popcorn ceiling" over repair....looks good as new.

Very slow to respond to service request/quote. Had to call several times to get job scheduled. Good workers. Knowledgeable & experienced. No time wasted on the job.

Good. I haven't had any work done with them because the thing that I wanted done, the gentleman was honest enough to tell me that it would cost more than it's worth. I thought it was nice that he did that. It lost him the business but I was pleased with him overall. I spoke to him on the phone a couple of times and then he came out to give me an estimate on what I wanted to have done. After he looked over the situation he said you know, if I were you I wouldn't do this. It's going to cost you more money than you would get benefit from it. I had never been up in the attic because it's an access hatch. He went in and he went up and he looked. He said you know you don't have as much space up here as you think you do. It's just not going to be worth your while to do this. So I said ok I wont. There were also some other things that I was going to have done at some point that he said just call me when you want me and I will come out and give you a written estimate, and I said ok and that is where we left it. He was very nice and he was honest. He took his time and didn't rush me through. I thought all of that was good. He was fine. We had a little glitch because when I made the original appointment, he didn't show up. I emailed him and I called him and I said we had an appointment and you didn't come, what happened? He called me back and he said it was one of those misunderstanding that somebody put my paperwork in the wrong file, and it was just an accident. I said that was fine and those things happen. He actually rearranged his schedule so that he could come out early the next day and take care of the situation. He apologized to me profusely for that mishap. It was somebody's eases mistake and it wasn't his. He was honestly sorry for it. He showed up right on time. The lady that used to live in my house before me recommended him to me. He has done a considerable amount of work in my house.

The work was very high quality, on time, and about 75% of the cost of a competing quotation. They sent pictures of the work as it progressed and attending to the little details that make a good job into a great one. I highly recommend Williamsburg Maintenance.

I ordered a fan from out of state to their local Home depot and they picked it up and installed it. the screen on the door was replaced and pipes were flushed, although that did not fix the problem of brown flex coming out of the pipes. That will need some more work. They communicated every step of the way, and kept me informed and my tenent informed every step of the way.

A home inspection revealed rotted wood at the corner of a porch with a flat membrane roof. Phil Nader of WIlliamsburg Maintenance helped diagnose the problem and then removed and replaced the damaged wood. I was in town for a short time to finalize sale of the house and they were very accommodating in working with me on the schedule. They are very busy but were able to meet me on the day of my arrival, evaluate the damage as well as some inside potential leaks in the kitchen. He determined the inside work didn't need repair and didn't charge me for the evaluation. They were able to complete the work in one day in time to get the new gutters installed before the closing date. I was very happy with their work and would definitely recommend them. Their price was very reasonable. They specialize in water damage and wood repair but do a number of "handyman" types of jobs.

Contacted Phil regarding a flooring repair, found him extraordinarily competent. Asked a bunch of questions over the phone and scheduled a date to see the problem in person. Was extremely professional and on time. Inspected the problem, gave me a quote that was extremely fair. When scheduling a date to perform the repair, Phil was extremely helpful. Due to the somewhat small nature of the job, he was able to fit me in the day after his inspection. The team of workers were professional, clean and very good at what they did. The team was very cautious around the home, made sure to clean up after themselves and did a very good job. All in all, I would not hesitate to contact Williamsburg Maintenance for your needs.

The main repairmen were pleasant and thorough. Prices were fair.

We had a contract to power wash our house including gutters for $400, placed screens on windows @ 4 to 5 men estimated hours for for 225, cutting a dead tree for $ 150 and placing curtain rod holders at last minute thing for $75. We went back and forth about putting screens and men hours on email about if they spend less time the owner will adjust $ and vise versa. Finally we agreed and signed an agreement. Work begin and they were punctual. One worker took the screens out of the attic and I helped to transfer it to the garage. He then helped me to place curtain rods on 2 bedroom windows. Before the guy finished putting the curtain rods the foreman came and said he needed him outside for the power wash so he hurried up and screwed up putting the curtain holder about an half an inch away from the window. As the guys were finishing up power washing the back of the house near my pool I saw spider webs and dirt on the window so I told the foreman that they had to be clean to put the screens up otherwise what is the point of washing. So he had to rewash again. Few hours later he came in the house and told me they were going to put the screens up and fortunately I was making lunch for my children using microwave oven so I was able to glance at the clock. About an hour later the foreman said they were finished and everything looked good at that time as I was attending to my 3 children. Then this was a big surprise, I had to write a check only and If I pay with a credit card I had to pay more for credit card service fee. Now keep in mind that we just bought the house and moved back from 8 years of overseas military assignments so we were using a credit card to keep track of our spending. Had I been informed earlier about writing a check would have been no problem. So this week I finally opened our windows and some of the screens came lose. They did not secure those little lock clip things so my husband had to go around and check them. Then few days later I got an email from the owner his foreman forgot to charge for placing screens on the windows and ask me to mail a check to his office. I called him and left him a message that I will pay with a credit card. But I did not get a reply. A week later he sent me another email that he wanted to drop by and pick up a check for $225. I then sent him an email stating that his men only spent an hour on the screens and that I will pay with credit card. I ask him to do the right thing. That was almost 2 weeks ago and have not heard from him. The men kept saying how busy they are and I am thinking do other people roll over and cover their credit card service fees by paying more or just write a check or give cash? $625 is still a lot of money and I thought credit card is more convenient.

We had lived in our home for about two years and had been looking for someone to help with a variety of projects around our house that had accumulated over time, but most were small projects and none too large. Phil Nader had been referred to us as someone that could help so I invited him to come over and he was most gracious in taking the time to walk around the house and examine items I had on my list but also identified some other things I had missed that needed to be attended to before they became larger problems. He never tried to "up-sell" me but did take great care in taking a holistic approach to maintaining our home. As time went on and I saw the quality of their work and their reasonable price, I started adding more jobs and over the course of 4 months they made sure every deferred maintenance project on our home was attended to, repaired, and in great working order. Their prices are reasonable and Phil is an honest and trustworthy man running a good business. His lead project manager, Shamus Conger, is a superb person, too, and I always felt as though our house was in good hands with them working here and highly recommend them to others looking for a handyman or someone that can take on a large-scale project.

My smoke alarm started chirping this morning, and I'm not good on ladders. (My bad; I had forgotten to have the batteries replaced last year.) Even though he didn't have staff working this weekend, Phil Nader (the owner) was willing to come out to help me. Originally, he said that it would cost $10 to just test and replace the smoke detector batteries, but I offered the work on the keyboard tray that was getting stuck to make it a full service call ($65). Phil came within an hour, called about 20" before he arrived, was pleasant and courteous, and charged me $60 instead of the full service call fee.I will definitely be using Williamsburg Maintenance in the future!

Day 2. The arrived promptly at 8:30 am. Shamus and Hector went right to work. In less than 3 hours they had fixed all three of our problems. We are very happy with how fast Phil responded to our call and the services provided by Shamus and Hector. We also were happy with the price. We are going to asked them to bid on another job that we need to do.

I have used these people for a number of projects over the years and have always been satisfied with their work. From plumbing to roof cleaning to repairing chimeys and repairing siding.

On the coldest day of the year, with pipes bursting everywhere, Williamsburg Maintenance rescued a disabled fellow whose pipes had frozen. Fortunately the water company came out quickly and turned off the main at the street. Later the pipe was thawed and repaired by Williamsburg Maintenance, but a big snowfall overnight covered up the water main to turn it back on. Even though it wasn't their responsibility, the company sent a man out to shovel the snow to find the water main. That's customer service writ large.

It went fine. They showed up when they said they would, did what I hired them to do, and cleaned the site up when they left.

Beautiful repair work. Very clean work. Since it required spackling and sandling I was pleased with how clean and dust free the job was. Very professional to work with.

Very personable. Phil was very responsive and informative about their progress. Would definitely use them again!

This company is excellent. I received a recommendation from my Mother-in-Law for this company (specifically for Shamus), and I couldn't be more pleased. I purchased 2 interior French doors from Custom Builder Supply (along with the hardware). Williamsburg Maintenance installed the doors, hardware and provided and installed a door stop. The doors were installed perfectly. I am definitely going to use them again for my next project. Thank you so much, Shamus and Phil!

The workers were on time, were careful in their work, took pains to keep the work area clean, and cleaned up after themselves. I am satisfied with the job they did. The cost was more than I expected for both jobs, but that was my mistake for not getting estimates first.
