Hard to reach by phone, no call backs, Supervisior did not want to take responsibility for what was promised by sales person. Truck was supposed to remain at job in order to supply more mulch if needed, instead truck was sent else where and mulch dumped on driveway. (Driveway was cleaned up). I would have purchased additional mulch.

+ -1 moreFocused our attention on Waltrip mulch since our last delivery from another provider (2yrs ago) was unsatisfactory. The quality of mulch is 20 times better with Waltrip due to their double grinding efforts AND how they color the product. We had already done our homework as to the color etc., so it was only a matter of ordering and receiving. During this process, it was determined that because of weather conditions (heat) and amount needed (10 yrds), it would be best for them to deliver and apply the product. Given the price difference, this was the best route for us. Scheduled and the crew showed up on time. They and quot;blewand quot; in the mulch and were very cautious of existing plants. Followed the order (amount)

+ -1 moreWaltrip's website is excellent for depicting the numerous varieties of mulch - I don't think anyone in the area can come close to their variety. Why pay a thrid party to load, haul, and manually apply, when you can get such reasonably priced service (with sufficient minimum order). I DO have an above average sized yard (1.3 acres) with numerous beds. One competitor quoted roughly 4x this price for same work. Will return to Waltrip again when needed. You need large scale to make it economical (or perhaps neighbors can go in together).
Description of Work: Waltrip is one of the few bulk mulch producers on the Peninsula. They did a blow-in job on my beds and allowed an extra pile on my tarp in the driveway (as requested) for me to dress out some tree rings I had yet to dig. Perfect work! My child was married in th eyard shortly thereafter, and we received raves about the yard. My yard man was amazed at the price for the quantity and quality; he switched to them for his source thereafter. I could not be home during the work, but the applicator took my call during the work. They did not short me on the yards I ordered.
