Mr. Sowinski promptly answered all my questions via email. Initially I had a difficult time finding someone willing to raise the existing cabinets. Most contractors want to sell new cabinets. However, ours were made of solid wood and were perfectly serviceable. The job of rIsing the cabinets was a piece of cake once the countertop and sinks were removed. A separate vendor installed new quartz countertop and sink. Mr. Sowinski returned and hooked up the new faucets. The bathroom looks brand new even though we did not have the bathroom floor and shower retiled. I definitely recommend Virginia Bath Company and will definitely use him again in the future.

Rich Sowinski (the owner) led a family crew to include his father and brother. The entire team was enjoyable to work with as they did everything possible to lessen the impact of installation and make the entire process non- disruptive. Care was taken to minimize dust and other work debris. Daily clean up was accomplished. Rich worked with us to select fixtures, glass, and tile always steering us to the best provider and best cost. He provided valuable guidance and knowledge that made the entire remodeling process work smoothly. Quality work was what was received and we obtained two outstanding showcase bathrooms. I would highly recommend The Virginia Bath Company and if remodeling another bathroom would not hesitate to choose them again.

The Sowinskis and their team were meticulous about their workmanship and leaving no trace of dust or dirt. They were friendly and good listeners. They are experts at what they do and they know how to deal with the unexpected. They started and ended just when they said they would. How many contractors can say that?

It went WONDERFULLY! I highly recommend Rich Sowinski for bathroom remodeling. He does outstanding work. 1. He brings many years of experience to the job and therefore is a trustworthy advisor regarding products and designs. I appreciated his suggestions regarding both function AND beauty. 2. I trust them to respect me and my home.

Rich Sowinski of Virginia Bath Company replaced the master bath shower door and controls. All work was expertly done. His professionalism and skill were top-notch. But these qualities are not what impressed me the most. I have been trying to replace the shower door for several months and it has been incredibly frustrating. Neither we nor contractors we contacted were able to find a replacement door. When I contacted Rich Sowinski at Virginia Bath Company, he immediately came out, took measurements, and began looking for a door and fittings. There was no hesitation in his approach to the job. He found the door wiithin a day or two and contacted me to set a day for installation. Weather delayed the work but Rich kept me updated. Schedule changes were communicated quickly. I would not hesitate to contact Virginia Bath Company (and Rich Sowinski) for additional work and highly recommend both the company and Rich for plumbing work.

The existing shower was part of the original home construction completed in 2002. The original shower base and cultured marble walls had to be reworked by the builder to make the installation minimally acceptable shortly after the house was completed. The decision to remodel the shower and tub surround was made late last year and quotes were obtained from The Virginia Bath Company and one other Angie's List A-rated contractor. The VBC quote was not the lower quote, but after going over the quotes with both contractors, we felt that VBC represented the better value and that going with a contractor that specialized in bathroom and tile work only would be our best choice. We would have been comfortable with either contractor doing the work. When I first contacted Rich Sowinski late last year, he said he would be happy to provide a quote for our project but that he was booked until March. Schedule was not a problem for us so we proceeded. Rich came out and looked at our job, listened to what we were looking for and turned around a detailed quote in short order. In the interim, he had a schedule slot open up in February so we were able to start earlier than anticipated. Rich specified the date he and his team would start on, how many days the work would take and what would be done on each day. Their plan was followed exactly as outlined and the work was completed as scheduled. They were punctual each day. They were respectful of our home and took the time and effort to protect our floors and finishes as the work was being done and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day. I was able to observe much of the work as the installation was in progress. Any questions I had were answered patiently and politely. Rich and his team were cordial and professional throughout the process. After the price had been agreed to and the work scheduled to begin, I asked for two changes to the design that required additional labor. The first change was to add two body sprays to the shower system and the second was an alteration to the top trim design of the shower walls. The tile change added almost 6 square feet of additional tile and a significant additional amount of individual tile cuts. This change in trim design was extended to the trim strip around the tub. Usually when changes are made to the work after the initial agreement, such changes tend to become pricier. I found this not to be the case in my dealings with Rich Sowinski. When I asked for the changes, I told him that I suspected they would affect his original quote and for him to let me know how much. I was pleased to receive what I believe to be fair and reasonable adjustments to the price. Rich used Danny's Glass as a subcontractor for the shower glass fabrication and installation on our job. He managed the subcontractor seamlessly. From our standpoint, the work went just as smoothly and efficiently as if VBC had done all of the work themselves. Rich followed up on a final inspection of the work after the glass was installed. A very minor cosmetic flaw was observed in the a short section of the silicone caulk at the base of the channel that the glass rests in. Rich came out the next morning and re-caulked the area in question leaving it indistinguishable from the rest of the caulk. I only point this out as an example of Rich's commitment to customer service and his demonstrated desire to complete the project in a craftsmanlike manner. To sum up, my wife and I could not be happier with how the project turned out. The overall fit and finish well exceeded our expectations. From our initial consultation, through the development of the tile pattern details, to the installation and final walkthrough, this project was a pleasure to work through. I would not hesitate to have Rich and his team back to do any bathroom or general tile project we may do in the future. I highly recommend The Virginia Bath Company; good people to do business with.

Epoxy grout was used for the floor and walls, while transparent caulking was added to all corners. Finally, a new shower head was installed. The only minor glitch, Rich had to return, after payment, to more completely clean the epoxy haze off the tiles. This was done without delay. The interior designer member of our household was very well satisfied with the work and customer relations exhibited by the owner.

The Virginia Bath Company did a wonderful job! Exceptional service from Rich and his team, they were on time and very reliable. Rich always available to answer any questions we had and was overall an extremely friendly guy. Would recommend them to anyone!!! Best contractors we have dealt with thus far.

After reviewing the estimate and discussing the project, we elected not to do the upgrades.

They did an amazing job. They were wonderful, efficient, polite and always on time. Communication was great! Rich was always responsive and ready to answer any questions we may have had. We are more than happy about our decision to go with The Virginia Bath Company!

Our bathroom is absolutely beautiful! We are extremely pleased with the work we contracted with Rich Sowinski and The Virginia Bath Company. From the day we met with Rich to discuss our problems with our master bathroom until the completion of the project, Rich kept us informed every step of the way, very promptly and professionally. He only schedules one project at a time and therefore never had to leave for another project until ours was completed. We really appreciated that. He arrived promptly on the agreed time every day and kept us informed on the project each day to include photos of the work done. He has great attention to detail and everyone that he brought in to work on our bath had the same professional manner. The work area was very clean each time the workers left for the day. My wife had a complete knee replacement the day before the remodeling job and was disappointed that she wouldn't be able to see the bathroom as the work was being done. Rich kept her up to date with photos every day from his cell phone of the work as it was being completed and met with us in the Skill Care facility where she was recuperating to show her large photos of the bathroom as it was being completed and to discuss final details. We would be very happy to speak with anyone considering a bathroom remodeling about our experience with Rich Sowinski and the Virginia Bath Company. He is associated with fine companies and we were able to chose tile and granite, bathroom fixtures and lighting well in advance so that they could be ordered and arrive in time for the work to begin. This is the best experiences that we have had with contractors working in our home. We give him the highest recommendation possible.

We have had many building projects over the years; we have never hired a firm that was so genial, so patient with our endless concerns, which kept to schedule, and which delivered as high quality a product as VBC. VBC is a family business composed of two brothers and their father. They do most of the work themselves, but subcontract plumbing, electrical and painting. Whenever problems arise they come back quickly and cheerfully to fix them without any additional charge. Furthermore, one of the subcontractors accidentally damaged some outdoor framing surrounding our driveway and VBC not only fixed it promptly, but also replaced some adjacent rotting timbers without charging us for the extra repairs. The high quality of their work arises in part because of the thought that goes into the initial bidding process. After careful discussion regarding our vision of the job to be done, we received an itemized list of the work to be done and the estimated duration of the job along with the bid. This allowed us to confirm that they understood exactly what we wanted done; it also required that we carefully thought through our project before any work began. Of course, unforeseen glitches always arise. Most of these they took care of without additional charge. However, when we decided on something that was not in the original bid, or when there were hidden problems that we or they could not have known about, of course there were additional, very fair, fees. This is the husband writing: I will tell you that on projects like this, my wife is NOT easy to please. Nevertheless, she was VERY pleased with the performance of VBC on our job.

Do not use, She hung up on me because I mistakenly called the company Virginia Floor co rather than Virginia Bath company. Unprofessional!

Overall, I wish that every contractor I have used would be as responsible and responsive as Rich and his team. The worked with me from the first bathroom project and I called him back to complete the rest of the bathroom projects. He was in contact with me every step of the way including working through the local Home Depot ensuring that we were able to get great quality in our needed cabinetry. The team is courteous, do quality work and always left the work site clean each day.

Rich Sowinski and every single person on his team (including the plumber and painter and glass guys) arrived on time, from the first estimate time to the finished job. The main team was Mr. Sowinski, his father and brother. They worked in such a coordinated fashion, with total ease with each other. Everyone was very professional in behavior and cleaned up any mess at the end of each work day. The tilework and grouting is top-notch. The entire job was finished in the timeframe estimated. I think the best recommendation is the total responsiveness of Mr. Sowinski. Whenever I called/emailed/or texted, I received quick replies. I even texted him when I couldn't find the recommended Benjamin Moore Paint store in our area and he immediately texted me the directions, so I could get there before they closed. Service with a capital "S"! We are so pleased with the results! The master bath is now the best room in the house!

After contacting Probuilt via Angies List we scheduled an estimate. They arrived on time and really listened to what we wanted while carefully pointing us in the right direction as to the scope of the project and how to keep cost down. All during the design and decision process they assisted and were available for questions or advice. When work began they were very specific on how long it would take and ensured that we had no "surprises" when it came to schedule or cost. They arrived on time everyday and exhibited great professionalism during the entire job. Absolutely recommend this Rich and his team at PROBULT!

They were awesome. They were neat, tidy, and on time. They did exactly what they said they would. They sent me to great vendors to choose different materials such as tile and counter tops. They were pleasant to have in the house and they cleaned up after themselves. I have even refereed them to a couple of friends.

They were so fantastic to work with. They really makie a bathroom remodeling project fun and easy to get done.
