Gabriel and the whole team are fantastic people! Their dedication to the job shines through in the final result. Based on the amazing work that I saw first hand in a commercial setting, I recommend them to my Niece and her husband who just bought a house that need exterior work desperately. They reached out to Gabe and the team in Williamsburg, and within days the project was set and ready to go! With a baby coming, they were thrilled to get the job started so quickly, and the end result was exceeded their expectations. The wood sided house from the 70s was transformed into what looked like a brand new home! I can't recommend Gabe and the team at The Painter, Inc. enough, and we will be sure back for cabinet and interior work as well!

Gabriel Goar and his team of painters at The Painters Inc did an outstanding job for our business. Their punctuality, the professionalism of the workers and above all the character of Gabriel, who also happens to own the company, exceeded every one of my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a painting company anywhere around the Hampton Roads area. Our job was quite large, however, I hear they also do residential home painting as well. Ivan and his team did a wonderful job making my house look new again. I had the whole interior and exterior wood painted or replaced. Ivan was a pleasure to work with and did everything he promised and more. You can tell he is an asset to the company and truly cares about his customers. Did a poor job the first time and had to come out to fix a lot of the job. I felt like I had to walk behind them and make sure they were actually giving me a quality service, which for the price I would expect a lot more. Probably won’t use again in the future because we just were underwhelmed by the service and disappointed by the overall professionalism. They also knocked off a bumper and two shutters when they were prepping and just left it. Didn’t inform me or anything. Expected a professional crew at the premium pricing since a lot of their sales pitch included that’s they’re better than the two guys in a white van like the other companies. And then two guys in an unmarked white van is who showed up to actually complete the project. Oversold and underdelivered. They did fix the two shutter then knocked down, but I was told too bad about the bumper they knocked off my house, and I have to pay to replace that now.

Was amazed at how well the finished product came out and how quickly they got it done. Would highly recommend and will do business with them again for sure.

What a great painting company to work with. From the very beginning of our project Ivan consulted with us on our ideas/needs and he supervised the project to the very end, even stopping by after the project was finished to see how pleased we were. This is top notch customer service! The painters were very polite and professional, and they were meticulous with their accuracy and protecting the surrounding areas from any paint splatter. It was an absolute joy to work with them and we would easily hire them again for any future paint projects.

It started of with a fabulous quote. After that, it steadily went downhill. Was told the quote I initially received was done in error. The new quote totaled $5,000+ more that what I was initially quoted. Scheduling became a nightmare, when after I submitted my initial down payment. Getting a return call became a hassle. After I cancelled my contract, I received a call to reconsider with a promise to give my request priority treatment. I didn't receive what I was promised in a timely manner so I cancelled my request a second time. The ordeal left my wife and I feeling like we had been discarded like an unwanted shoe. Our house never got painted to this very day.
