Needed a tree cut down right away. Southern Blue came out, gave me a very reasonable quote, and had the tree down that very afternoon! Very efficient, clean and friendly service.

Easy to work with. Show up and perform work when expected. We had some seriously overgrown shrubbery which was removed and replaced with new shrubs that Southern Blue suggested with the dual purpose of looking good and requiring minimal maintenance.

Chris reached out to me quickly and followed-up since I couldn't talk at work. He came out one evening to discuss the work that was needed and to provide a quote. He suggested taking a different approach that would better meet my needs. I agreed that his method was a better plan in the long term. He quoted me a very fair price for the work they were going to do. They came out the next morning and quickly completed the job. They cleaned behind themselves and relocated a nest that was in one tree. They provided very professional service. I will definitely be using them again for a couple other trees that need attention.

He came and did the first phase of my project the morning after he sent the estimate! and I know he will be back to do even more work next week! Southern Blue's office had no power, but when Chris saw my request on Home Advisor he drove out to give us a quote following a tornado going through our yard last October. Chris worked with us to find an option that we could afford, which was challenging given the extent of the damage. His crew was prompt and professional. They were flexible and versatile; when they encountered some unforeseen damage on the roof, they repaired the shingles in addition to removing the tree. I am very grateful to Chris and Southern Blue for their excellent work and commitment to providing quality service at very fair prices.

We hired them to remove 5 trees. Three of them were over 40' and right next to the house. When Chris came over to give us a quote, he suggested ways of cutting the cost by trimming two of them instead of removing them. He wanted to make sure we were getting the most for our money. The crew arrived when expected. They were efficient, friendly, and professional. There was an incident with one of the trees hitting our deck, but when you're taking down 100 yr old oaks, it bound to happen. He had the new wood purchased before I even got home from work, and his contractor was there the next day to fix it. Chris was onsite every day supervising the removal. They left the yard as clean as when they arrived. I think they are an excellent company, reasonably priced, and would highly recommend.

Professional and courteous

They came as promised and did the required work. The two workers did not receive full instructions of what the work involved and had to receive instructions from me.

Chris came and gave us a good quote. His team took down two Oak trees and grinded two stumps. They do clean up after trees are down and do watch the rest of your property so no damage will occur. They called ahead to let us know when they were coming. We were told that the stump guy was 7 to 10 days behind. When he comes, he will also rake the mulch too. It was done quickly and everything cleaned up.

The team was great, fast and came first thing in the morning. Tree was cut down and cleaned up in 30 minutes!

I think that Chris and the guys were great! They came and did the job and cleaned up. The only problem we had was that they don't return phone calls and sometimes your not even sure when they are going to show up. They started our job with the four little trees in the front yard and then a month later came back and did the 1 huge tree in the backyard. Wasn't sure if they ever were coming back to finish. Didn't charge me, though, till the whole job was complete.
