+ -1 moreAt the recommendation of a neighbor, we called Dave Sibley to examine our loud washing machine and he arrived on time and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He told us the cost of the repairs would be about half the price of a new washer and we decided not to have him fix it, but he stayed for almost an hour to talk with us about options and quality of different washers. He is someone I would highly recommend.

+ -1 moreIt seemed as usual for a repairman. He was there 30 minutes, but the kicker was the $89.00 service charge just coming across town. There was also a $50.00 labor and $120.00 part charge. Do not hire this thief!

+ -1 moreMy wife discovered our side-by-side fridge not working mid-day on a Sat. I looked up appliance repairmen on Angie's List and called Sibley Appliance. The answering service took a message and Dave Sibley called us within about 15minutes. He was available so he came right over within 15min. He determined the problem was a failed cooling fan then, after replacing that, found that a relay had failed, too. Dave took time to show us how to access and clean the cooling coils (had years of dust built up). Dave had understood the urgency of our situation, responded quickly and did a great job fixing the fridge. Considering that this was an emergency repair, I think the charge was reasonable
Description of Work: Our fridge was no longer cooling. Dave Sibley replaced a cooling fan and a relay and got the unit working again. From first call to completion of work was about 1.5-2hr.

Description of Work: Dave diagnosed the problem with our electric clothes driver. He gave us an estimate to perform the repairs needed. We felt the price was too high. He also pointed out other issues involving venting lint, etc. from the dryer. We decided to seek other alternatives.He was very professional and personable.
