Where to begin? Brenda Fisher is fabulous. My wife and I set out to buy our first house in the Williamsburg area and got hooked up with Brenda by luck. What luck! Brenda helped us through the process. She was very patient, extremely knowledgeable and personable. As someone who has lived in the region she is able to point out various social, environmental and financial aspects. Furthermore, she pointed out problem areas inside and outside each house we looked it. The good, bad and ugly. She was a great advocate, well researched and connected with the right people from mortgage agents, contractors to moisture and termite professionals- all with resounding reputations as well. She is an incredible resource for any buyer or seller. During the negotiation stage she was instrumental in helping us target certain monetary figures, balanced with conveyances, home inspection results, etc. At no point in time did we feel out of the loop, confused, or that we were being blindsided. She was open, honest and translucent in her communications. Its a rarity anymore to find someone who is customer driven, responsible and willing to go the extra mile for someone. Thats Brenda. I have continued to recommend her since we have moved in and when it comes time to sell she will be the first person we call.

We moved from out of town and needed a place to live. Having researched schools and areas we found several potential rentals using Shields Realty (which was awesome). We found a house we wanted to rent. The Prudential agent was difficult to get a hold of and did not return phone calls. Eventually we were able to get a lease for the house (which we really liked) Upon move in the agent was not available and we had to meet with a substitute. We were assured that the few problems we found would be taken care of so we signed the year lease. We soon did get to meet with the listing agent who, at that time gave us very responsive undivided attention during the walk through and assured she was going to take care of us. After 2 months, many, emails, texts, and excuses, we have been repeatedly blown off with a passive aggressive attitude. It is obvious that this agent has too much on her plate and cannot handle the work load. As we are very patient and understanding people we put up with a lot of lip service but in the end have been taken advantage of and been treated very unprofessionally. Though in the beginning we were told the items definitely need to be addressed, we have now gotten to (I am so busy) I cant deal with you or your problems too bad approach. I would never use Prudential again with this agent

This company is very professional and knowledgeable. Our real estate agent Barbara Levine was professional and knowledgable, she know what to do when it comes to selling. Barbara broke the process down and explained to me what need to be done to the house to make it attractive to buyers. 42 days later under the guidance of Barbara we have a buyer and are now just waiting to close.

We first contacted Remington-Smith to look at horse properties in the area when my husband was in the late stages applying for a position. Although far from certain, she was willing and happy to take us to a number of properties that fit our needs and budget. Once he accepted the position, she sent regular updates on properties, visiting those with which she was not familiar, and taking photographs for us. She never pushed us to exceed what we wanted to pay, althugh we did ultimately did pay quite a bit more than we had anticipated after ruling out less expensive properties. She stayed in regular contact by phone and email to ensure that contingencies were met and even followed up to make sure that our horses were delivered without incident. We were happy with all repair people to whom she referred us. While we hope we don't have to use her again, we certainly would- she is accessible and ethical and actually listens to the client's needs.
