I asked Protection and Audio/Video by Design to supply a quote to include an LG TV catalog number OLED65C7P along with the best receiver and surround sound speakers to complete the system. They recommended the Yamaha RX-V683BL receiver and an Episode series ES300 speaker system. I accepted and a date was set to install. Big Mistake! When the installers showed up, the TV they delivered was an older model than the one ordered. I called the salesman and he said that he could not get the model specified and that I would never know the difference between the old model and new model once it was installed. I told him that was not acceptable and that I would provide the TV specified. I purchased the correct model TV from a local retailer to be installed the same day. This year the Yamaha receiver went into safe mode. I took the receiver to a Yamaha service center along with the Episode speakers for testing. I picked up the receiver and was informed that the receiver was fine but that the Episode speakers did not meet the specifications recommended for use with the RX-V683BL receiver. Yamaha specifies 8 ohms speakers for use with RX-V683BL. The Episode speakers recommended and supplied are rated 6 ohms by Episode. I decided to replace the speakers with a system that met the Yamaha required specifications for use with the RX-V683BL. To do this, the front left and right speaker wires needed to be moved from the center of the mantel piece to the left and right edges. I hired Protection and Audio/Video by Design to move the wires. It took three visits and the tech manager was able to get the wiring straight on the third visit. Before he left, he told me to make sure that the speaker system I installed was rated 8 ohms, as that is what the Yamaha receiver required. Once paired with the right components the Yamaha receiver and new speaker’s system sounds great. If you want it done right, do it yourself.

Outstanding! Back when , I did a survey on what system to buy and their product was exceptional. Saying that -- My system has been inplace for 15+ years. It is a work horse. I have had minimum trouble calls but they were there for me from walking me through a question to coming out to the house. I have recommended this company many times to my friends and all installed the system in their homes. This company is customer oriented and are there for you. I highly recommend their security and monitoring system.

It went amazing. Protection by Design was timely with their sales call and just as fast to get me a reasonable quote. Then they did the work and had 2 amazing technicians come to complete it is a couple days time. I would use them again ANY day! :)

I will not be paying $130 for my 11 new windows. I have contacted other alarm companies who are willing to do the job for much less money with additional features such as live view on my phone, adjust lighting etc. I have asked when my contract renews so I may cancel. Additionally, I will be canceling my office contract. I cannot believe this is how they treat a long term customer. Overpriced for a simple task.

After my initial meeting with Bryan Smith, he was very quick to email me back with a completed proposal containing exactly what I wanted. The project was completed in a timely manner and I haven't had any problems in my home since they worked on it. A+ by me!

We met with Mr Marcus Broxton to discuss our requirements and to determine a sensible path forward. Mr Broxton visited our home twice to review our needs in depth and to offer alternatives. The proposal received was, we believed, a fair one and we decided to proceed. The two technicians Tom and Tony, arrived right on time and worked tirelessly to get the job done. Three weeks later, after we had time to work with the installed system and after the cable company had installed our internet access, Tom returned to hookup the wireless access to the Internet so we could watch streaming movies. He took the time to patiently answer all our questions and made sure that we understood the system installed perfectly. All of the employees of Protection by Design that we worked with were over the top when it came to technical knowledge and customer service. Without question, we would recommend this firm to anyone who wants the best in capability, customer interaction and fair pricing.
