When we called them, they never called us back. A few days later, we wanted to speak with the manager and they called back the next day which was too late. We waited six days for them to respond to us, which is too long when you have a leaking water line.

I called Cypher's at 7 a.m. I spoke to their answering service. About 9:30, Cypher's called to say they were coming out in an hour. Turned out we had a bad capacitor. Mike had one on the truck and fixed the unit quickly. All's well -- and we are cool again!

One thing we appreciate when working with Cyphers is that the rep always uses the call as a teaching moment. My youngest son has learned about plumbing repairs as well as maintenance issues that are just not taught these days unless you read it or watch a video. This hands-on experience has been valuable and now that he has his own home, he has put the things he learned into practice.

I he offers excellent prices. He’s always been very courteous, prompt, and personable.

The gentleman came into my home to replace the fixtures but he partly replaced one. He said that he would be back to complete the job and do the remaining replacement but he never came back.

They are great people to do business with. They are courteous, professional, knowledgeable, punctual. I can't say anything bad about them. I highly recommend them.

Response fast. Communications poor. Unit supplied was not want I wanted. Close supervision by customer needed if you use.

They were able to schedule a visit within a few days, came when they said they would. Although they didn't have the parts they needed with them they obtained them quickly and had the work done before the day was out. Price comparable to what you would expect in this area. Very courteous and professional to deal with. Will definitely call them next time we have a plumbing problem.

The job was obviously a one-man job, yet two men did the work. The safety valve was replaced but my hot water heater tank housing was damaged in the process. The area around the valve appears to be missing some kind of covering because the insulation is sticking out. The relief valve drain tube was not replaced and is presently not connected. The two repairman left promising to return and installed a new tube. They also promised to check the drain tube but there is no evidence that that was ever done. They left without saying when they would return. As of today 12/12/10 I have not heard or seen anyone from the repair company. After this is resolved, I would not want them in my house again. *Update* he came and replaced the valve. He installed the drain line and was very thorough to make sure everything was working right. He charged me $90 and spent a good three hours here. I assumed his price was a compensation for the damgage that was done previously. He went under the house and corrected the drian line. I went out to make sure I wasn't losing any pressure. I was very pleased with the way it was handled and I would use them again if I dealt with the owner.

I thought that they were very good. There was quality workmanship, they were punctual and I thought that they did a good job. I spent about $6000 on that work.

We have used Cyphers for about 30 years so I think that shows that we are very satisfied!

On Monday, August 2, our AC stopped working. It's been sweltering weather. Fortunately, we have a separate AC for our basement so we closed the door between them. Walking from the downstairs to the upstairs was like walking outside. Ugh! We have a home warranty on our five-year-old home so we called the warranty company on Tuesday, August 3. They referred us to Cyphers Plumbing Heating & Electrical, Inc. We called Cyphers right away, and Mr. Cyphers was at out house before 4 p.m. He checkout out the unit quickly and efficiently and diagnosed the problem. He then fixed it. He was courteous, friendly, professional, efficient, and knowledgeable, and the AC has worked perfectly every since, thank goodness!

He showed us how to do it in the future incase it happened again. He did a great job.

It went very well. I think the plumber's name was Mark. He showed up on time, made several trips to the supply place to get fixtures for what needed to be done. Overall it was about 3.5 hours to complete the job. He obviously knew what he was doing. Cypher stuck to the estimated cost. We thought $400 plus was a bit pricey but they did a good job and we're happy with the result. No problem asking them to come back if we need them.

We are extremely pleased with all of the work done by Cyphers plumbing. Mr. Richard (Rick) Herald did most of the work and was assisted by Chris and Michelle for some of the work. All of these people were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They did everything we asked them to do and even more.They returned several times to adjust things as needed. We are very confident that all of the work they did will lead to safe and secure plumbing in our home. I also have high compliments for Ms. Caroline Talbott at the office as well as Mr. Cyphers, the owner. I heartily recommend Cyphers Plumbing the next time anyone needs professional, responsive, and extremely pleasant people to do plumbing work.

Rick from Cypher's made contact with me in a little less than an hour after I called their answering service and scheduled to meet me there in the next 2 hours (he set an exact meeting time, I didn't have to wait around). He located the problem and had it repaired in under an hour by replacing a section of pipe running to the hot water heater.
