The communication from Concrete Jack was outstanding as was the work! From beginning to end, we were updated on the status of our estimate and work order. We also received a 10% discount for submitting photographs of the job prior to the estimate. I would highly recommend this firm!

The most challenging part of the job for us was removing all of the furniture from the family room as well as taking up the laminate floor prior to Concrete Jack's arrival. Two workers arrived on time, drilled holes in the slab, injected the foam and "lifted" the slab back to level. Before they left they filled the drilled holes with a concrete mixture. I think their part of the job was finished within an hour. Then my wife and I re-installed the laminate floor and put the furniture back in the room. Our part took many more hours than their part for this particular job. Overall very happy with the result.

They showed up right on time and answered emails within an hour every time. They did an amazing job jacking up the foundation to where it was supposed to be. They cleaned up after themselves and were very polite. They jacked up ~1,000 square feet.

Richard arrived and I asked him if he would be able to raise the concrete, he replied "Oh yes". Well Richard really knows his stuff because he went to work drilling the holes just where they needed to be and raised that large slab of concrete and making them even with the other sections that also had to be raised. He didn't quit until it was too his satisfaction and I have to admit it was better than I hoped it would be. Great job. In addition, I can't even see where he drilled the holes. I highly recommend them for any of your concrete needs. You won't be disappointed.

Concrete Jack was prompt, friendly and honest with my wife and I from the very beginning. We have a 42 yr old house that had a dip in the lower-level concrete slab. I contacted Concrete Jack to gain an estimate and better understanding of what needed to be done to remedy this issue. Alex arrived to provide a thorough estimate and answer preliminary questions we had concerning the project. Due to some untimely financial issues, my wife and I had to postpone the job a while to recoup our stability. Karen at Concrete Jack was very kind in following up with us every few months to remain in contact. Finally, the project day came and Kevin and his associate showed up with their box truck and equipment. They took extra care to ensure minimal invasion of our lawn/garden as they fished the equipment lines through a front window. The process took about a half-day with them drilling small holes in the floor for injectors and then injecting a high-density poly foam under the slab. This foam rapidly filled the voids under the slab and stabilized it permanently. By the end of their job and clean-up, the foam was set and a herd of elephants can now trample around in my living room without issue to the floor/slab. Very friendly, prompt and professional! Strongly Recommended!

It went well. The job was done as expected.

Prompt, quick with the assignment and professional. Isn't cheap, but MUCH lower than a total rebuild by a mason (we were getting $2500 estimates for that). Eight months later, work has held up (step and sidewalk have not sunk back into the ground). Would do business with again if needed.

I called Concrete Jack with a lengthily explanation of the issue with my residence. They were honest and helpful. They were not able to personally help me with the work I needed done, but pointed me in the right direction and gave me referrals. This type of honesty in business can be hard to come by these days.

We have a crawl space. Unfortunately, they do not perform crawl space repairs,

Improper grading outside my house caused water infiltration in a crawlspace, eventually leading to significant erosion underneath one of the footers. I contacted numerous contractors both in foundation repair and basement waterproofing. Some tried to sell me on systems that were overly complex, or didn't adequately address the issue. Some never called me back after the initial consultation. It took me a while to find Concrete Jack because they're home office isn't in the DC area. Luckily their service area is quite large. Their estimator conducted a thorough inspection of my crawlspace and provided a written estimate the next day. The job was scheduled within a month and the two man crew even arrived a little early on the day of the job. They used an expanding structural foam to fill the void under the footer. The job was completed quickly, with most of the time spent solely on prep. The crew was professional, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. I'm pleased with the work, and looking forward to seeing the results after our first big rain event.

Will not charge less than $1000 for a job. Why is he on here?

My slab had settlement issues around a central load bearing wall. The center of the floor was up to 1.75" lower than the walls. This resulted in cracks in the wall, doors that wouldn't close properly, slanted counter-tops, and separation of the upstairs walls from the floors. I was extremely worried that the company would not be able to rectify these issues. Everything I had read about Foam Jacking suggested this could be fixed but the contract explicitly states they will provide stabilization against further sinking but cannot guarantee any lift. With some trepidation, I signed the contract as the alternative solution (helical piering) was 6x more expensive and much more destructive to the interior of the house. The crew showed up right when they were scheduled to and got right to work. They were very professional and obviously knew exactly what they were doing. Concrete Jack delivered everything I hoped and more. They were able to return the house to level -- the cracks in the walls closed up, the doors all close and latch perfectly, the counter-tops are level, and the upstairs walls are once again supported by the floors! All this in about 3.5 hours with minimally invasive holes in the slab around the load bearing wall (I had the floor previously removed for other work). I have never been 100% satisfied with any contractor for any project before but Concrete Jack made me a believer!

I am extremely happy with the result. Everything is back up where it should be. We did a have a couple cracks as a result but they are easily filled with concrete/grout filler. Also they explained to me before they started where and why it would likely crack so there were no surprises. The gentlemen that showed up to do the job were very friendly and professional. They were also thorough. I can't say they were on time because they actually showed up early! They got done within the time frame they allotted. We ended up going a bit over our quote, but not a crazy amount. Also the gentleman who did our intitial quote was on time...also a bit early. He was very friendly and professional as well. I would definitely recommend these guys to my friends!

Two years later and it's still holding up!

From the start they were very responsive and professional. I talked with Tiffany who set me up with Bob who came and gave me an estimate. The day of the leveling Kevin, John and Curtis came and got right to work drilling the holes for the foam and checking out the whole house to see what issues I was having upstairs and down. Upstairs my walls were pulling away from the ceiling and so I wasn't quite sure if they would be able to lift the foundation to the point where the walls would again meet the ceiling. Also, I had numerous cracks downstairs that had been growing over time. During the process one of them was upstairs constantly checking on the progress the walls were making to meet the ceiling while downstairs they were monitoring the cracks and the level of the foundation. The whole process took two and half hours. It was amazing!!! The cracks downstairs completely closed up and upstairs the walls were back to their original position!! They cleaned up after themselves and left behind a very happy customer. I also want to mention that Karen was able to get me scheduled in must faster than originally thought...within a week!!

As a single female home-owner, I frequently encounter repairmen and companies who are either opportunistic, not professional, not truthful, or some combination of the three. My experience with this company was refreshing. They were prompt and professional in returning my call and setting up a time for an estimate, their communication and notification process was very efficient and convenient for me, and they even worked me into their schedule earlier than expected after I mentioned that I was in a bit of a rush. Their representative arrived early - but called to be sure he wasn't inconveniencing me by being early-and was very professional and thorough. After looking at my issue, he said that I didn't need their services and that the issue could be resolved by a mason for a very reasonable amount of money. He also suggested that I could even make the repair myself with about $20-worth of supplies. Although I didn't get to work with them, based on this experience, I gladly would in the future. It is hard to find repairmen that you can trust, and who aren't just looking to make money - I'd put this company in the category of "the good guys."

I booked the initial consultation online. Very easy. The inspector/estimator arrived early and answered all my questions. He took photos and said that he would confirm that Concrete Jack was a good fit for our repair, and if so, email a quote within a week. We received the quote three days later. We, of course, had more questions and the staff of Concrete Jack always responded quickly and courteously. We were also blessed to be scheduled the week following the return of our signed quote. They arrived a few minutes early and went right to work. (It was pretty cold and rainy at times.) They answered our additional questions and helped us understand everything they were doing. In under three hours, the area was cleaned up and they were gone, and we had SLOPE on our patio again. A couple hours later - it POURED. And not one drop came near the house! Our sincerest thanks to everyone at Concrete Jack, especially Bob, Tiffany, Karen, Corey, and Curtis! Thank you so much for the exceptional service! Concrete Jack took my concerns head-on, asked very insightful and relative questions and took ownership of my concerns. One of their evaluation/inspectors arrived in a very timely manner within 24 hours of my initial phone call. He had already inspected the exterior of my home prior to ringing the door bell. He was well informed of my situation and immediately took ownership of addressing all of my rather ignorant questions in a very professional, sincere, honest and respectful manner. We both performed a full inspection of the areas of my concern throughout the entire home. He did so with a strong eye for detail, while providing clear and understandable explanations of what was occurring concerning the cause(s) involved. At NO time was there any attempt or hint of a "sales agenda" during his visit. Only that all of my questions and concerns were honestly addressed in a manner that I could fully understand. The business interaction was an outstanding experience due to Concrete Jack's approach to dealing with my situation and the surprise of learning I did NOT have a problem with my foundation. Rather, there were possibly some changes in the crawl space affecting the support beams drying out, shrinking with some movement, all due to my having the crawl space recently encapsulated and dehumidifier installed. His bad news, from his inspection there was nothing Concrete Jack could do for me since this was outside their area of foundation expertise, The good news was he referred me to a highly respected colleague who does specialize in crawl space evaluations/repairs and any needed adjustments to deal with my uniques and specific challenges. How refreshing to deal with a company like Concrete Jack who had my interest to the forefront of making an unnecessary sale. Followed by a professional referral and recommendation to a long time colleague who does address problems such as mine. All of this was at no charge or cost to me, yet I would confidently say services were performed by Concrete Jack to my direct benefit. This experience is completely opposite of the companies who send out a person of questionable qualifications who end up doing a "time-share type" sales presentation for 90 minutes to get a sale even if the problems do not relate to the work to be paid for in the end. Simply based on this experience with Concrete Jack, their evaluation/inspector and their office staff, I would not hesitate using their company in the future or highly recommending them to others experiencing foundation problems.

They were very excellent. They were on time. The gentlemen that came out and worked on my drive way were very customer oriented. They explained to me very well exactly what they were going to do before they did it.
