COLONIAL HANDYMAN

Bill was contracted to provide weekly yard service. He was paid half in advance of the season and half at mid season upon which he began to only show up maybe every other week and then went a whole month without showing up despite repeated phone calls to him. On the day he finally sjowed up I was cutting the grass and informed him his services were no longer required. We agreed he would refund us over $600 for services he never preformed. He never paid us back and refused to answer any phone calls. That was the summer of 2007. I see he is back in business under the same name. He has been reported to the BBB, whom he also failed to respond to. Bill Blackwell is dishonest and a thief. He cannot be trusted to do a job. He will take your money and run. DO NOT USE THIS MAN!

Mr. Blackwell submitted a bid to clean and stain my deck in March, 2008. I paid in advance 50% ($275). The deck was incompletely cleaned. Mr. Blackwell never returned my phone calls to schedule the staining. I left three messages over a period of four weeks, with none of them returned. I did not receive a copy of the contract (my bad!). I have given up and retained an alternative contractor for the job.
