Ace Chimney Sweep

I originally purchased an Angie's List special to have my chimney cleaned and inspected. The cost for that was $77 which was very reasonable. When Ryan and Aaron arrived, they got right to work and even did a couple of extra things for me like pulling out an old fireplace insert and checking on some possible water leakage and damage which was evident on the wall beside the fireplace. Ryan inspected the chimney both inside and outside and recommended a new cap which, when he removed the old one, was obvious a new one was needed. He was able to install the new cap at the time of the appointment so I did not have to reschedule. I would recommend Ryan and his company to anyone. He and Aaron arrived on time and did an excellent job.

Based on Angie's List recommendations, I went with Ace to replace an old, rusted chimney chase cover. They came out to measure it without me having to be home. I could have a painted galvanized one or stainless steel (I went with the galvanized). The cover was made to exactly fit my chimney. When they came back to install it, they painted it to be close to the house trim color. Although I did not request it, they also cleaned up the chimney cap, and painted it as well. I had a recently replaced roof and they were extra careful to not damage it. The end product looks good.

It was awesome. He did a really great job. He called and rescheduled due to the rain, and they were very professional about that. He called within 24 hours of purchase to schedule the initial appointment. Ryan has been out to the house twice now. He's a top notch guy!

In total there were 4 phone calls and 2 emails made on my side of this deal. I read other reviews and this seems to be a recurring problem that anyone has with this company is their difficulty in setting up appointments. To resolve the issue, I called Angie's List and got a refund.

These guys did a great job! Not only was the work done fast and with high quality, they also were very careful to keep the house clean around them. I have to say they took great pride in the quality of work and it shows. I also got some estimates done on the spot for some future work. Definitely will be using them in the future!

It turned out very good. They were on time, very clean. They did everything that they said they're gonna do, it was pretty straight forward, fast. I have no complaints. I'll use them again.

It was fine and it worked out well. He also gave us an estimate for new chimney caps and other repairs to the chimney. They got the job done in about an hour. The scheduling was fine and they got the job done pretty soon after I contacted them. They sent 2 guys out to do the job and they were good. They answered all my questions and were polite and friendly.

Ace Chimney Sweep was very prompt for the appointment. Knowing we were selling our home Ryan Wilson did the repairs we needed to complete our inspection. His prices were very fair but his work was excellent. Since his work can be quite dirty we were very pleased that he took great care to clean up any soot. Great job, Ryan! It is refreshing and encouraging to know that there are contractors who still provide their services on time with a courteous and professional approach. Ryan performed the task thoroughly, leaving the area as clean as it was when he first came in. I highly recommend his service without any reservations.

Found large hole in firebox. Adivsed of importance of repair

They service was okay and everything was fine. They were courteous and they made sure everything was clean. They also protected my carpet too. Two cleaners came out and it took them about 40 minutes. We did have to scheduled multiple of times due to weather and they contacted me that same day.

They were very nice and friendly. I had originally scheduled for a date and I needed to reschedule and they were very willing to reschedule and accommodate the change. They showed up right on-time and did exactly what they were supposed to do. I had called other companies and they were all at the $100-$120 range.

They were accommodating with scheduling and the employees were professional and helpful.

Told us about additional items we could purchase to make the Chimney safer. Efficient and reasonable.

They did a solid job of cleaning out the fireplace and chimney! I bought a new house and it looked as though the chimney hadn't been cleaned for years!

Excellent job by Ace Chimney Sweep! I was contacted promptly to schedule an appointment and when the day came, their team was punctual, polite and cleaned up after themselves. I was very impressed with how clean the stove was after their visit! I guess I thought they'd just sweep out the ashes (like I do) but was floored when they laid out a blanket to protect my floors and then vacuumed inside the stove. Very happy with the job they did and have recommended them to all my wood stove/fireplace neighbors.
