+ 2 moreGreat Service! I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fireplace inspection/cleaning. Arrived on time, courteous, and professional. He was straight-forward with me about every aspect of my fireplace and explained everything he found. He even brought a cover to ensure any chimney dust did not get on my carpet. I will absolutely be using Ace Chimney Sweep again!

+ 0 moreThis is the second time that we have used Ace Chimney Sweep. We were highly satisfied the first time and were just as happy this time. They were very flexible in providing a time for the service which was great for us. I have to admit, our firebox was full of ash and we were concerned about having the service done because we thought that it would be so dirty. We had scheduled the service for the same day as the house cleaners, so it was more of a challenge. But Ryan did a great job keeping it contained and you would never know that he had done the service. We are very happy with Ace and we will be calling them next year!

Description of Work: I had purchased this for a friend prior to the cold season started in December, I didn't get a response until I logged back into Angie's List to find out they do not contact via your message system. After that mess it took another few weeks for the company and the friend to set up a date of service. Then the initial scheduled date had to change because of conflicts in their schedule.

They worked very hard and efficiently. They got the job done in a timely manner. They sent 2 people out to do the job. They got the job done in about 7 hours. I would recommend them to others.

He said there was water damage to our chimney crown, took pictures, and gave an estimate for repair. I'd definitely use them in the future.

Arrived just a few minutes before schedule, explained briefly what he'd be doing, performed his work with an assistant, and informed me of a few repairs that I might need to the flue and the chimney cap. I declined the additional service, he thanked me for the business, and left. Very good impression of these guys. I'd definitely use them again, and will in fact on another house we own in the area.

+ 1 moreRyan was personable, professional, just a pure delight to have here. He took care of everything that needed doing. This chimney was a mess, and he caught a few things that also needed to be taken care of at a later date. I cannot stress to you enough how well he did his job, how wonderful his personality is, and what a pleasure it was to have him out here. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs either their chimney cleaned, or some additional repair work done, as in our case. Trustworthy, hardworking, knows what he's doing....what in the world more could you ask for? He was on time, called ahead to make sure it was still a good time for me, and solved my problem so my house was safe. I will definitely use him again, and I recommend you do the same.
Description of Work: This guy was awesome. He got back to me IMMEDIATELY, which was a big deal since my hubby had previously decided to light a fire in our fireplace and nearly burned down the entire HOUSE. So we needed the chimney cleaned very badly, but I also needed to know why we had so much smoke coming into the house. He examined everything in great detail and found a few problems, such as the worn-away masonry around the chimney cap, and the hole in the same masonry right around the front grill and gave me quotes to fix both. I have to say, those quotes were incredibly fair. That right...I said FAIR. He probably could have charged more, since it was obvious how appalled I was, but that's not who this guy is...he's doing what he does because he loves his job, and he's a people person, and he's great at both! Can't get much better than that!

He was very patient and assisted me with the knowledge and information I needed to know as new homebuyer concerning lighting the fireplace, the pilot light, operating the gas, etc. He also provided pictures of the chase cover as well as an estimate to get it replaced. I am definitely going to follow back up with Ryan on this work in the very near future.

+ 0 moreThey were fantastic. Their price was right. They got here on time. They did a very thorough job. We are required every year to get our dryer vents cleaned and I have had various companies come out over the years, plus doing it myself, and no one including me has cleaned it like they did. I do not know how they got this clod of wet lint out of this thing and my dryer time is way shorter now and I would definitely have them back every year. They were cheaper than anybody else. These two guys came and they just did an awesome job. I have a 50 feet dryer vent; it goes the full length of my house. It used to take me an hour and a half to dry all the clothes most of the time, but after they came I was drying clothes in like 50 to 60 minutes.
