Description of Work: Showed up on time and did a good job. Also identified several cracks in bottom of fireplace insert firebox which he fixed for a reasonable cost while he was there. I would use this person again.

Description of Work: The Company came promptly at appointment time. Cleaned my chimney thoroughly. He took great care in keeping everything neat and clean. Did a complete inspection and provided me the results of the inspection. Very respectful.

Description of Work: Excellent communications and professional work. I purchased a special discount package for a chimney cleaning through Angie's list. After i made the purchase, i looked at the other services Ace Chimney offered and when Ryan contacted me, I also requested a dryer vent cleaning and gutter cleaning. I had to reschedule a couple of times due to travel, but they were very flexible. Ryan showed up when he said he would and got right to work. They performed the chimney cleaning and inspection and cleaned up very well after finishing. Then they started into the dryer vent. I have a very unique arrangement for the dryer vent that Makes it a very long run, but Ryan had the equipment necessary to perform the job. I didn't watch the work, but I could tell by listening that they made great progress. He said it was the dirtiest he'd seen in a long time (doesn't surprise me) and he said we should see a big difference. Next, they went onto the gutters. I have gutter guards in place, so I was not certain that they needed cleaning. The fact that I had gutter guards didn't phase them at all. After they spot checked a few, they determined that they did not need cleaning, that they only had some pine needless sticking out of them. I appreciate it that they told me and stopped working rather than continue to go through the motions and charge me. I highly recommend Ace Chimney. They are honest, hard working guys that perform quality work.

Description of Work: Called, left message on phone recording of Ace Chimney Sweep 21 Oct 2012 that had paid $64.00 (gave payment number from Anjie's list). I was suppose to call them to set up appointment for services (already paid). However, Ace Chimney made no effort to try and contact me. It's been a week with no service except cashing my credit card. As a result request an immediate refund of my $64.00 and recommend to everyone that if a business is too busy to call you back, they are most likly to be too busy to do any good work. This is a clear indication of a pooly and unconcerned attitude from a business that otherwise looks good on paper. Thanks

Description of Work: Ace Chimney Sweep owner, Ryan Wilson, was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. He contacted me immediately and set up an appointment that worked for both of us. He and his assistant, Travis, arrived on time, completed the cleaning quickly and efficiently, and meticulously cleaned up afterwards. He also went on the roof and checked the chimney cap. I would recommend him with no reservations.

Description of Work: Used an Angie's List coupon for the chimney sweep for ~$54. Was so pleased with their professionalism that I asked if they would also do a dryer vent cleaning for their full price ~$89. They were knowledgeable and I truly believe they were not lying as many would to get more services. Nonetheless, I trusted their assessment on my house and intend to use them in the future for some needed chimney repairs.
