 + -1 moreBay Flooring did a quick measurement on my oddly shaped floor and came up 200 Sq ft more than State Farms careful measurements. I ordered the $12,000 job done and put half down. The gent that did the first measurement called me and said he was comfortable with his first measurements and refused to remeasure, stating my choices were to get the job done or cancel. I canceled and got another company to do the job and sure enough, Bay Flooring was 200 Sq ft off (the room is 880 Sq ft, not 1080). I do not recommend them.
Description of Work: Refused 2nd measurement though they were 200 Sq ft off in a 880 Sq ft room (they said 1080, they were wrong)

 + -1 moreThe crew arrived on time on the day that I had scheduled the installation. They disconnected and moved the washer (the dryer and cabinet had already been removed). They put down a an underlayment (luan, a thin plywood, I think) over the existing tile floor and then laid the tile over it. The tile was 16" by 16" squares that came with grout lines and the crew did a nice job of laying the tiles so everything lined up. The floor has the look of ceramic tile that has been grouted. After laying the tile, they put wood trim around the baseboard and the threshold of the back door. They took the time to stain the trim so it matched the pine baseboard. They also put down a 2 inch wood threshold between the laundry area and the pine kitchen floor. This threshold was the only thing that I was disappointed with. It wasn't cut exactly to match the indented wood paneling that frames the doorway. Maybe this extra cut for the indent required equipment or carpentry skills that they didn't have. Overall, I really like the floor and I think that they did a nice job.
Description of Work: Installed new tile floor in a small laundry room. The tile was Tarkett Permastone Luxury Vinyl Tile.
