K&J Mechanical is an awesome company, they are prompt and have excellent service. I was so impressed with their employees and especially Collin George was professional and dealt with our A/C issue quickly and economically. I would highly recommend this great company for any of your HVAC and A/C needs. We are loyal customers for life.

What's to say? The gentleman showed up promptly, listened to what the problem was, fixed it, and was off again after showing me what the issue was. The house is cooling, the wife is happy, and I still have permission to work from home for another day so I can play my music as loud as I like without bothering anyone, especially the technician.

I assumed K&J Mechanical did the work because my unit was working. I should have guessed that something was not done right since it took them over 10 hours to do the work. Later I learned that I was charged for items that they ended up not replacing. They REUSED parts (ex/ air line set) and pinched the line with the new line. This caused future issues because the size of the two lines were different, causing leaks out of the line, plus causing leaks into my new system. They also installed my unit wrong where I could not even replace my air filter. They came out to "service" my unit by adding fluids, allowing my unit to last longer past the warranty date. They refuse to give me an itemized bill for my purchase. They state that AHS would provide that even though I did not pay them. AHS states K&J Mechanical is responsible since I paid them directly. When K&J sent me a "bill" it was edited from the original they have. In the email it states "second". The receptionist informed me that they would not fix their issues because they do not do work for free and they lied saying their only certified technician they trusted was sick for 5 days leaving my tenant without air conditioning for almost 2 weeks. The manager informed me there was only 1 technician he trusted and the rest that work for him were amateurs. This let me know that the "amateurs" were probably the ones that installed my unit. They tried to blame issues with the system on electrical work. I had an electrician and a certified HVAC technician look at K&J work and was told they had done a terrible job and would not pass inspection. The work was not done to code. They informed me parts were reused and not new which is probably why they will not give me an itemize bill.

Gratefully, Thomas talked me out of an expensive purchase to resolve a smoke problem in our apartment. His honesty was much appreciated!

The service was comprehensive and efficiently executed. The service members were knowledgeable and professional. It means a great deal to have a dependable and reliable company to maintaining your home heating air-conditioning system that you depend on every year for your comfort.

K&J Mechanical has always been great I wouldnt hire anyone else, they over deliver on professionalism, quality, courteous, and reasonably price. They are the best.

It went well. Fair price, good quality Bryant units. They did encounter some unforeseen obstacles when replacing the HVAC units, related to poor past contractor work before I bought this house, but they responded appropriately, made things right. ....Every job has the potential to be more or less challenging for a variety of reasons. I like that they respond and tried to work with me. For this reason, I can confidently say to other members that you should use them because if anything unexpected pops up, they will rise to the occasion.

Awesome! The tech was friendly, very professional, and did a great job. He went out of his way to come back another time to install another filter that we needed to buy. I will use these folks for my HVAC service, and recommend them highly.

After calling to explain the problem, was told to turn the system off with the possibility that someone might come out the same day. They called back shortly to set up an appointment for service at an agreeable time the next day (within 24 hours). The two men arrived on time and checked the equipment. They found the likely cause of the problem, were very pleasant, informative, and professional. We plan to set up a seasonal maintenance program with this same company for two independent heating/cooling units in our home.

The A/C at our rental property was running, but not keeping the house cool. I called five different A/C companies that had A ratings on Angie's list and asked how much they charged for the service fee and how much they charged per pound for R22. Three of the companies including K&J) told me their rates directly and two told me that they "bundle" the R22 cost with labor costs. I appreciated that K&J were up front with their costs and they had the best rates. The technicians showed up on time and were very professional. They immediately checked the unit outside and the air handler inside. Both were frozen up with ice. They turned off the unit and we waited for it to thaw out. While waiting the tech's (Cory and Mark) were very jovial and pleasant to talk to. Once the unit thawed out they hooked up the gages and diagnosed the problem as low refrigerant. They showed me on the gage were the correct level should be and where my unit was. They kept me informed the whole time and were very thorough. They ended up having to clean the coil in order to get the unit to take in the refrigerant. They told me the cost before they did it and asked me if I wanted them to proceed. Once the cioils were clean they added 1lb of R22 (in .5 lb increments). Then they went inside and checked the vent with a laser thermometer to make sure the temp was in the proper range. I was able to pay credit right there on the spot and they gave me a discount for using Angie's list. I would highly recommend K&J Mechanical. They did excellent work on time and at a great price. There was even a follow up call to see if I was satisfied with the service.

Could not be any happier with every aspect of the job. Right on time. Kept us informed of the progress. Started and finished on time. Explained all options to my complete satisfaction but did not push one option over any other. Price was very competitive. Put down runners in every area that workmen travelled and made certain our home was not damaged in any way. Would highly recommend them and will use them on my house or rentals should the need arise again.

The technician arrived on time and thoroughly explained what a winter check up would involve. He walked me through the importance of having a check of my system to ensure proper operation and to save on utility bills. He also informed me of the current operation of my system. When when done, he pointed out the potential problems and how to save money during the winter months. It went great. I felt like I understood everything that he did.

I called Saturday morning and told them what it was doing. The technician was at my house within two hours. He checked it out. Refilled my fluids and checked my connections. I had heat again. They were very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend them.
