I hate to broadcast a negative experience but I must warn you to not use this cleaning service. I hired Star Cleaning to perform a spring cleaning of my home in May 2015, which was quoted to be, "Spring Cleaning $325 (Includes detailing work such as hand wiping baseboards, cobwebbing, washing of all floors and stairs, under furniture that we can get to, changing linens, wiping all door facing)". Although I was initially put off by such a high estimate, the owner put me at ease and assured me the job would be done right (please note that this quote DID NOT include washing the windows, which was an additional $165). When I returned home, the day of the 'cleaning' my kitchen floors had not been washed, none of the area rugs had been vacuumed, the baseboards and doors had not been wiped, and there were several tables that had not been cleaned or dusted. The mantle was not dusted, the linens were put onto the bed inside out, bathroom floors were not mopped, and the house in general was still dirty. Let me add to this review that I clean my house thoroughly each week, so other than the biannual cleaning doors, wiping fan blades, and the weekly 'once over' cleaning, there wasn't a boatload of work to be done. I spoke to the owner, sent some representative pictures of the inadequate work, and was told that the service I received was representative of the 'cleaning' that is done for the low cost of $195, which is what is now expected to be paid despite the fact that I had to re-clean my entire house the same evening. I could write more, but you get the point by now. I am more than disappointed and urge you to do business elsewhere.

They did such a horrible job that they had to come back 3 times to get it done. They tried to make it right but by then I was fed up. When I came home I noticed that one fan wasn't clean but that was no big deal. She called and said they could come out and fix it. I said no that it wasn't a big deal. I have a rolling island in the kitchen and I noticed that night that they hadn't even pushed it over to sweep or mop under it. There was grease on the stove and the cabinets were not wiped. It was one thing after another. She and a cleaner came out and they saw it plus they saw more. She sent a crew out the next day. I came home and there was still a spider web in the kitchen. She had me make a list and it still wasn't done. It was one thing after another. She said she would give me a free housecleaning. They gave me a regular clean and I haven't called them back. The price wasn't terrible. She responded when I told her that something was wrong.

They do a decent job. I've been using their service for a year now.

They cleaned the entire house after a very messy tenant moved out. They came in under budget!

Overall I am really pleased with their service.

The late winter through spring is always very busy for me so I needed someone to come help me keep up the house every few weeks. I had a number of estimates, but Theresa with Star Cleaning was the one that make me feel the most comfortable so I knew the job would be done right. I booked the initial cleaning 3 weeks in advance. Star called the week before to confirm. The first cleaning was $50 more than the regular cleaning as they do a deep cleaning first to establish a baseline (which is normal). I'm looking forward to their visiting every two weeks as I know my house will be clean and smell great!

I have a large house. Sometimes, they clean it all. Other times, they clean the main areas. They do very good work. I am never sure exactly when they are coming, but I know it is between 9:00 and 11:00.

I called Ms. Star and spoke with her on the phone. I explained my needs, and we made an appointment for her to come to my house the next day to look at it and give me an estimate for the work that I needed. She came in for the estimate, spoke with my mother who was the one at home at the time, and told her she would go home and work up two or three packages and call me back. I have not heard another word from her. I feel that it would have been common courtesy to at least call me even if she decided not to take the job!
