Description of Work: Bill performed an energy audit on our house, which was built in 1982. We plan to do some major renovations and an addition and wanted to know what insulation, new windows, etc were required before starting the construction. He used thermal imaging with an infrared scanner. He also conducted an electronic diagnostic test in which he tested for air leakages around all doors and windows, and measured the rate of air exchange per hour,etc. This also included areas where walls met the ceiling,floors and outside corners. He spent at least four hours here with us, working with my husband and showing him the results room by room. As a followup, we received a report of the results, along with a prioritized list of recommendations. He will return after the renovations to test again and confirm that window installation, etc. was done correctly.
