 + 0 moreThe guy shows up, does what is asked of him, is proactive about making minor repairs or else pointing out that a repair is necessary. He cleans up after himself and any crew he uses. He is very experienced, physically fit, and not afraid to crawl into a crawlspace. He will also do outdoor work such as debris removal, yardwork, and minor landscaping. He has a good network of subs for sheetrocking and major painting.
Description of Work: Repairs to guest cottage including repairs of wall damage, including painting, rehanging doors, roof repair, install new door in passageway, insulating attic.

 + 0 moreFantastic. Like any rehab, it was an unfolding adventure. As we uncovered things the scope of the work grew. Michael was good at picking among must-do and optional fixes. He turned a sow's ear into a silk purse, all the while under our control.
Description of Work: Gutted and rehabbed a small 2 BR house. Gutted all the way down to studs. Replaced much of floor. Replaced some of sill (rotten) and floor joists. Mike did all framing, trim carpentry, and painting. Repaired roof. Installed kichen cabinets and counters. Although he is capable of drywall work he subbed that out to a very competent and inexpensive drywall company.
