Description of Work: We just purchased a new house and have several rooms painted. First the quote was misleading as the room to paint was listed but no price was assigned, so I had to ask for a new quote. They also did not list their contractor license on the quote so I had to ask them to include this as well. I changed the quote and we both initialed it. Apparently the quote was not updated in their accounting system so at the end I was billed for work not preformed and not realizing this, we paid it. They did promptly provide us a refund check. | |The painting seem to go well except for the workers inviting themselves into our refrigerator and drinking almost all of our coke. They could have called and asked before taking it, but they just assumed it was left for them. I did contact the project manager. He got a little defensive but apologized. He never replaced the coke. Also when my husband check on the house they left the garage door unlatched leaving the house unsecured. | |Although it state on the quote that the work order will not change unless both party agreed to it, they went ahead and painted the original aluminum folding closets doors which I didn't want to be painted. It was not on the quote. The quote only stated walls, ceiling, and trim. They never even called to ask. I was annoyed as these were the original door from 1978 and will be expensive to replace. I liked the smooth finish of the original door. They used eggshell paint which made the doors look chunky. They could at least used a satin or high gloss. All the doors needed was a little cleaning with some Mr. Clean erasers, but now they are an ugly chunky off white! They never provided me with any compensation for this error in judgement as well. It's for this reason we would not hired them again. They tend to do what they want and not follow the guidelines listed on their own quote. | |As far as the paint job goes overall it was completed on time and they did an excellent job overall. They did get some paint on door knobs and a drip on our wooden floor but my husband was able to get if off. Also it appeared they didn't let the paint dry completely between coats as the white trim appeared to be pinkish from the coral paint from the walls.
