We called PEAK on Tuesday during Hurricane Sandy as we had an active leak. THey were here on Wednesday mid-day for an estimate. Professional and excellent response. Estimate via email arrived with in a week.

I love these guys but wish they weren't always so busy! I had called them for an estimate on what I thought was a leaking window frame. The estimator arrived in the specified time frame and was professional, helpful, and honest. I ended up not setting up an appointment as he thought it would be cheaper for me to hire a contractor who does general repair work. He helped with the siding while he was there and gave suggestions about what types of repairs I could get. Although I ended up not hiring them, they are still at the top of my list when it comes to roofing or siding needs.

On time, on budget and well done

The technician could not find an obvious cause so he came back a few days later with another technician. Rather than tear the roof apart to inspect they came up with a plan to try a few things that were the least invasive. The first thing they did was raise the gutter downspout that drained onto the roof thinking that maybe it was blocking proper drainage and backing up under the shingles. I have not had a leak since that day (almost 3 months) to include Hurricane Sandy. The best part of the deal was that there was no charge for either of the visits for the work they did. I will definitely call Peak again as they were great to me!

It was a great experience. They answered all the questions that we had. They even fixed some issues and didn't charge extra for that.

Before moving into our townhouse, the seller had a radon remediation system installed. The installer did not check the installation from the roof side. The installation caused vent unit, seal, and flashing damage. Water ponded up in the vent unit during a hard rain and poured through into the attic. At 3 AM, during a hard rain on 9/28, water came through a heating register and down the corner on an outside wall in the MBR. We awoke to the sound of running water, saw the water coming through the ceiling heat register, and running down the wall. We put buckets and towels in place to catch the water and prevent damage. The next morning, we started our search to get the problem identified and fixed. I called a roof repair company listed on our homeowner referral site. The company was recommended by another homeowner. I called at 0730 and left a message. The company's voice message said they opened at 0800. I called back and left another message. I did not get a call back by 0900, or at anytime since. I went to Angie's List. I called one Angie's List company and was told they could come out the 29th of October. I explained the seriousness of the leak and requested help sooner. No luck. I call another Angie' s List company -- Peak. What a difference. I talked with one of their customer service reps. She discussed my problem, listened to my request to get help as soon as possible, and recorded my contact information. She promised to get back to me as soon as she could get to one of their repair mechanics. About 2-3 hours later, I received a call back. I was told "Donny" would be out Saturday morning at 10 AM. 10 AM Saturday morning, the door bell rang. Donny Miller introduced himself, listened to my problem. After checking the area of the leak in the MBR, I took Donny to a 3rd floor balcony where he could access the roof. Donny started his review of the roof. Donny found the area that was the cause of the leak. Donny returned to his truck, collected the materials for the repair, returned to the roof, and repaired the damaged areas. It has rained since the repairs. NO MORE LEAK. Donny is a professional at his job. He came here Saturday morning from Front Royal. I am putting a recommendation on our HOA website for Peak too. If we have roof problems in the future, or when we need a roof replacement, I will count on Peak to get it done. Donny, thank you. Peak owners, thank you for responding and for the quality of the people that deliver your service.

On time, worked until job was finished and cleaned up after service was great.

After a major storm, most roofing contractors are slammed with work. We waited for a few weeks before starting to contact any contractor. Peak roofing was able to provide services within a relatively short time frame and got the work done. Overall, the service went well and professional.

It was a wonderful experience! They were on time, professional, cleaned up after themselves and everything looks great!

From estimate to completion, my contact with this company was extremely pleasant and enjoyable. The gal on the phone, the estimator, and the guy that came to perform the repair - they were ALL incredibly easy to work with and extremely friendly. I will definitely contact them again for any other siding issues that might come up (or roofing work!). All in all, a great experience and an example of the way a service company should be run!

After the severe storm that rocked the East Coast, I contacted Peak Roofing Contractors. They immediately set up a date for inspection and estimate for repair. I was concerned that during a period of extreme storm damage and demand that I would get an excessive (gouging!) estimate. Not the case!! They gave me a repair estimate in line with my own estimate. I accepted the estimate and we scheduled a date. Unfortnately, Peak personnel postponed the appointment by a few days due to their concern of pending rain. The appointment was rescheduled in short order. The repair went well. I delayed my review while waiting for additional rains---the true test of roof repair. We have had no leakages or problems! We are very satisfied with Peak Roofing. Should we have any further requirements, they will be the only company we call. Definitely recommend!

Overall my experience was excellent. From start to finish my experience was great, great work, great professionalism and great price. Definitely would recommend them if you need any gutter or roof work.

Having been my own construction manager for the building of present residence, 21 years ago, I knew the roof was in need of replacement. Thus, I prepared a Scope of Work document for the work I wanted accomplished. This included the tasks to be completed, the specifications for the materials to be supplied and the requirement to provide a written proposal with licensing and insurance information. I contacted six companies by phone, requesting estimates. Of the six I contacted, five actually came to the site, but only four submitted written proposals and only two of those complied with my Scope of Work. I selected Peak Roofing Contractors because their proposal was the most complete and the pricing was very competitive with the other proposals. The Peak estimator, James, arrived on time as arranged, went up on the roof, took his measurements and within 20 minutes presented me with a detailed, printed proposal, which he then went over with me, explaining how each task would be performed. He was the only estimator to actually explain this process to me. Two other proposals were sent to me via email and one was delivered by hand with no explanation of the work to be performed. Needless to say, Peak Roofing also performed the work as stated. The materials arrived when scheduled. The roofing team arrived at 7 am then next day, and the job was completed by the end of the day. James came out and inspected the old roof. He recommended the roof be replaced as it was only 7 years old and had some previous repairs that weren't professional to say the least. He gave us an estimate and we set a date for the work.We were purchasing the home and the sellers agreed to pay for half of the cost of the new roof on the four story townhouse. Because the house is four floors, the work required a manlift. Peak had to rent a manlift to perform the work. The work was originally scheduled for early July, but on the day of the replacement, the manlift delivered by the company was broken.Peak informed me right away and we rescheduled for one week later. The work was completed in one day and the roof looks amazing! The price was great for the work and the quality is exceptional! In 30 years when I need another roof, I'll call Peak.

I went on-line to Peak Roofing to review their company for what I hoped would be a small roof repair job (it was). A chat box came up inviting me to chat with "Steve" about my needs, so I did. He asked what type of a job I had and took my information (name, address, phone number, etc.). He said the owner would get back to me but that never happened. I'm not sure why "Steve" wasted my time if they weren't going to call me back. I would have rather he told me it was too small a job for them to bother with so I wouldn't have wasted my time waiting for a call. I have found this to be a problem with many companies that receive good ratings on Angie's List. They get so busy that they only want to do the big jobs and ignore the small jobs that got them the good ratings to begin with. If you need someone for a small roof repair (or a completely new roof), I wouldn't bother with these folks. I ended up using Katchmark and they were wonderful. UPDATE: Dawn Smith from Peak Roofing personally contacted us about the initial report to apologize and let us know that was not acceptable behavior by their company. I think this shows a high level of professionalism and good communication on their part. While the initial experience I had with Peak Roofing was unacceptable, their actions and communications convinced me that they deserve a second chance should I have need of any of their services and I will not hesitate to call them if that occurs.

"Roo" , a company technician, came out and not only provided the estimate for the repair work in question, but in addition, provided us with some advice on additional work that we had some concerns about. The actual repair technician, "Donnie", was a pretty cool dude. He explained everything to us as he went along. He outlined to us exactly how the shutters should be correctly anchored to the front of our home as well as providng a little tweaking on a couple of the other shutters that appeared to be in need as well. Unfortunatley but much appreciated, :-), Donnie conducted a little "hornets nest" control while up on his ladder repairing our siding and trim. Real Cool!! From the initial telephone call into the office for an appointment down to the last nail being driven in, the level of service rendered was at a refreshing level of professionalism and was very much appreciated. Overall, you can't go wrong with this company. Thanks a bunch guys!!!

My neighbor used them for their roof replacement last year. They did such a great job I used them too. They explained everything when they came out to give me a quote. Very friendly and informative. On the day of the install, they came out early, ripped the old roof off quickly, put the new one on, added the ridge vent, installed the new attic fan. Great service! A supervisor stayed here the whole time so I could ask questions. Cleaned up and left me very happy. A couple weeks later a different company was out to replace my siding and messed up parts of the roof. I called Peak Roofing back and they were quick and responsive and I have them scheduled to fix the damage. Service was so great and they have fielded so many questions, I wish I had used them for the siding job too, but I had booked that before finding out they did more than just roofing. I highly recommend.

From the first courteous contact by phone to Robin in the office, to the finishing of the job, and finally the courtesy call from Robin to see if I was satisfied with the finished work, this company has not failed to deliver quality service very efficiently. Robin set up the estimate and roof inspection with Donnie. He gave me a great price to fix rake siding blown off during the terrible June storm. I also scheduled to have gutter put on where the builder had skipped on the kitchen bumpout. Donnie came out on July 2 for the estimate, and the job was done July 10. Buddy and his coworker cheerfully worked until all the repairs were done. They were very safe, courteous, and did an excellent job on everything. I was able to use the discount of $50.00 they offered because of being a member of Angie's list. The whole job was priced for less than some other companies who gave me higher estimates just to put in the gutter alone. I will definitely use this company again for roof repairs and later on window replacement. I can't thank them enough!

The gutter guards have only been on for a few weeks, but some what I can tell they did a fantastic job and I'm very pleased with it. The employees that came were very courteous and professional and I would highly recommend them.

Recommended by an acquaintance and we were impressed with the timeliness of the work, from obtaining an estimate to the completion of the work. No messes left over and done in very courteous manner. We would recommend this company to anyone in need of roof repairs.

.We didn't go with this company because the price was to high and we just felt that we got more individualized attention from the other company. These guys were too professional just wanting to hurry and get the job and start working.

We found them through word of mouth, and then through Angie's List. Our experience with them was fabulous. They were thorough, kept us informed and did very fast and clean work. We got a number of quotes but they were a little higher than the other quotes, but with a coupon through Angie's List the cost became comparable to the others that we were given. We would use them again in the future if necessary.
