The whole experience was beyond satisfactory. From the office staff that called to confirm the appointment through the person who came to do the inspection, the professionalism and friendliness were unmatched. The day of the original appointment it was raining heavily so they called to reschedule. They were very accommodating and understanding of the presence of infants in the house and our desire for the appointment to be any time other than baby nap time. The day of the rescheduled appointment the inspector called first to see if it was a good time to come. He arrived on time in a company marked vehicle and dressed in a company logo polo shirt. He listened carefully to the description of what we thought might be a problem. He then went up on the roof and did his inspection. When he was done he gave a very detailed explanation of what his inspection entailed and what he found. Luckily he found no issue at all. In fact, he told us our roof was in very good condition and should not need replacing for another ten years. He even inspected the flashing around the chimney to be sure it was in good shape and assured us all was fine there, too. Just as he was preparing to leave, my husband got home. He very happily repeated the whole description of work to my husband. When we asked how much the service was, he said "no charge," gave a handshake and left. Wow! You just don't get personalized service like this very often. We will most definitely recommend Peak Roofing to our family, neighbors and friends.

First of all, It took four phone calls before we could get anyone on the line. Then I Took day off waiting for them to come and fix roof after scheduling with one of their office person. Never showed up. Called them and asked them why no one showed up. Their reasoning: we did not get your signed contract..so why did they call us to schedule the work if they knew their policy? How about you all follow the same rules and not bother calling customers to schedule work when you know you are not going to do it. This was a waste of my time. Will not recommend this company.

I can't tell you how relieved I was to have Peak Roofing come out and install our range hood vent cap on our vinyl siding! I had an HVAC company come out and attempt to do this (as they were doing the ducting), but I stopped them as I was really concerned about it being done correctly. I didn't want someone to just punch a hole in my house and leave me with a leak/water damage waiting to happen. Mike came out and was extremely friendly and professional and gave me an estimate to install the vent cap and repair some rotted exterior door frame damage on a garage door. On installation day, Mike's crew came out and not only did it right, they were efficient, resourceful, professional and very nice. I will definitely hire them back when we are ready to replace our old basement door. Thanks a bunch!

James came out, put together the estimate. We went back and forth on some changes and ultimately I picked them based on price (lowest) and excellent service. Jason and crew came out on 3/3 and did the work. They were very friendly, courteous and efficient. Very impressed.

The person provided the inspection and estimate arrived even earlier than anticipated. He was very professional and courteous. Estimate was provided the next day as promised. This is a very responsive company.

Peak Roofing Contractors replaced our roof and it looks great! Best thing was, it was handled in a very professional manner, the pricing was fair and comparable to other vendors and they were very responsive with follow up questions and requests. Would definitely recommend them to any family or friends.

We had contacted several area roofing contractors seeking estimates to repair (what appeared from the ground to be) an approximate 4 to 5 foot section of ridge cap shingles that were hanging off of the peak of our roof over our garage. Due to the design of the house, the roof is over 50 feet off the ground. Of the contractors who came out to provide estimates, Mike Mehlfelt (the technician from Peak Roofing) was the only one who bothered making the very high climb to survey the damage and inform us that we had exposed plywood and insulation. Mike immediately called me and followed up with a written estimate for the work (which was in line with the other estimates we had obtained) - so we contacted Peak's scheduler to arrange for the work to be done. Although they were very busy with other roof repairs, they were able to fit us into the existing schedule with one of their technicians who was due to be in our area (Haymarket, VA) on another job. With bad weather (rain, sleet, snow) expected in the afternoon of March 3rd, we were understandably concerned about potential water intrusion in our attic. Although the Peak technician arrived as the sleet was starting, he nevertheless got up on an extension ladder and performed the roof repairs without complaint - and in a highly professional manner. I was VERY impressed with the work and with the company. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone needing roof repairs.

They did a great job with the estimate, and got scheduled for our roof replacement within a few weeks. A professional team did a superior job and cleaned up everything. All was done in one day.

Peake did a very good job throughout the entire process. Estimator was prompt and answered all my questions. Scheduling was straight forward, pricing very competitive and the job itself went very well without a hitch. The job foreman kept me apprised and took just the morning to get the roof completed. Also, cleanup was impressive as I didn't find any nails or old shingles anywhere on my property.

The gentleman was very professional and very nice. He worked very h****** our estimate, on a hot roof. My neighbors ended up using them and had a really good experience.

Peak Roofing was excellent in all facets of the contract/job. They provided a prompt and fair estimate. The job started and finished on the scheduled date/time. The employees at Peak were professional throughout the process and answered my questions as we proceeded: even after the contract was signed (and I had many questions...I was probably as demanding as anybody). However, the professionals at Peak addressed each of my concerns with poise and understanding. They even came out to my house a second time when I wanted to modify the job because of ventilation concerns. The finished product (a new roof) met all of my expectations and I could not be happier. This is the 2nd time I used Peak - they replaced a roof and all of the windows in my other house in 2009. They are honest, fair and they do good work. That's why they received my repeat business!

My wife handled the job and I wasn’t at the location. Speaking second hand, they did a good job. They did what they said they would do which is important to me. Their pricing was competitive to others. They got the job done quickly all in one day and the clean-up was good. We have no complaints with the service. Overall, everything went well.

They were great. It was easy to get an appointment with them. They were professional and courteous when they came. They were on time. They provided good service. I would use them again.

This was a simple job (as even they told us) and it could have gone incredibly smoothly, but unfortunately the company seemed to keep having communication issues, both internally and externally. Our salesman James was great - he came out, walked the roof and provided a quote. Peak was not the cheapest, but I was able to negotiate the price. They were still about $300 more than our other quotes, but Peak offers a 10-year workmanship warranty. They will walk your roof each year for 10 years to inspect the work and repair issues, if any. Their stellar Angie's List reviews in conjunction with the 10-year warranty sold us on the $300 difference. We signed the contract, paid the deposit and scheduled the job. Robin, their scheduler was great. She explained the timeline and everything that would happen. The roofing materials would be dropped off on a Friday afternoon, the job would start Monday morning and they'd be done by Tuesday afternoon. Our townhouse is a rental, so from the very beginning I asked Peak not to bother our tenant. My husband and I live literally 2 miles away and would handle all interactions. Friday afternoon came and the roofing supply company left all of the roofing materials on the sidewalk/driveway in front of our home, not on the roof. This is a slight inconvenience, but I figured I must have misunderstood Robin. Monday morning rolls around and at 7:15am the foreman (Jason) calls me and says they are on-site and ready to get started. He asked me if I could please have our tenant move their car out of the driveway (she forgot to move it Sunday night). I told Jason I would call her as soon as we hung up and the car would be moved. I also told him that my husband would be by at 8:15am to meet with him and provide the bird spikes (for deterring pigeons) that they were going to install after the roof was done. Jason said that sounded good to him. My husband arrived at 8:15am to find no foreman and no roofing crew. I called Jason to find out what was going on and he said he had bad cell signal and would call me right back - Jason never called me again. My husband waited for 30 minutes and then had to go to work. Robin called me a couple minutes later to tell me that they had to reschedule the job. To my shock, I asked her why, as I had talked to Jason about an hour before and he said they were good to go. Robin seemed stumped and said that she had received a call from Jason saying they had to reschedule because the roofing supplies were left on the sidewalk and not put up on the roof by the supplier. I expressed my frustration to Robin, as we had made arrangements with our tenant and our next door neighbor (we have a shared roof). She apologized and said that she received no phone call from the roofing suppliers on Friday as to why the materials were left on the sidewalk. It was later determined that the roofing supply company left the materials on the sidewalk because our tenant's car was in the driveway. It was never communicated to us that the driveway needed to be empty all day Friday for the delivery; it only needed to be empty on Monday and Tuesday while they were replacing the roof. But, things happen and at this point all we can do is roll with it, so Robin got our job rescheduled asap. The roofing materials were moved up to our roof the next day and the job was rescheduled for Wednesday and Thursday. I asked Robin for another foreman on Wednesday, as we no longer had faith in Jason. She would have Buddy (the co-owner) oversee our job. I told her I would greatly appreciate that and it would provide us more faith in the job. On Wednesday morning, my husband and I arrived to meet the roofers and make sure everything started smoothly (and drop off the bird spikes). We arrived to find the roofers in our neighbor's driveway with their ladder, accessing our roof via our neighbors. The ladder was leaning against their gutter, bending it downwards. We went up to the foreman, to learn that the company had changed foremen on us and we had Donny, not Buddy (normally not a big deal, but after the headache on Monday we thought Peak would do everything they could to have the rest of the job running smoothly). We told Donny they did not have permission to access our roof through our neighbor's driveway/roof and to please remove the ladder immediately as they were bending our neighbor's gutter. We had them move the latter to our driveway and access our roof through our property. We gave Donny the bird spikes and asked him to please call at the end of the day and provide a status update. Robin called that afternoon to let me know that Donny's team had finished the installation of the asphalt shingles, but not the installation of all the bird spikes. Matt would be out on Thursday to install the standing-seam metal roofing and Donny would be with him to coordinate the install of the remaining bird spikes. We arrived Thursday morning to find out Donny wasn?t coming and Matt didn't have the bird spikes. I called Robin to find out where our foreman (Donny) was and found out they had changed things on us again and there was no longer going to be a foreman. I asked her to have Buddy come out and meet us - we were very frustrated with the miscommunications. Buddy met us on-site a couple hours later and discussed our communication frustrations. After expressing all of our headaches with the job, 99% of which had been caused by changes Peak made and never communicated to us, it was like talking to a wall. My husband and I felt like we were talking and nothing was being heard. We talked to Buddy about the remainder of the job, which he said would take Matt 2 days to complete. I informed Buddy that we were told by their scheduler that the asphalt shingle install would take one day and the metal roofing install would take one day and now Buddy is telling us that it would be two days. Again, this would not be a big issue, if we had been told this from the beginning (as we had made scheduling arrangements with our tenant and our neighbors). All of our frustrations with Peak have been related to the gap in communication between their front office, their field people and the customer. Given all of this, our confidence in Peak had been shaken. We asked Buddy for a credit back on our bill because we were considering hiring another roofing company to come out and review Peak's work. He said he would talk to Dawn (the other co-owner) and get back to us. Buddy called that afternoon and offered us a $250 credit on our bill to hire someone else to walk the roof if we chose to. We told them we would like to see pictures of the roof once it was complete and make our decision from there. Matt finished up the metal roofing on Friday. His work was immaculate. We were told by each contractor that provided an estimate that metal roofing is an art and considered specialty work. As such, it is very expensive and Peak came in with a very competitive price for the metal work. I talked to Buddy on Friday afternoon and he was going to have Robin call me on Monday to schedule them to take pictures and complete the final punch-list. Monday came and went with no phone call. I called Robin on Tuesday to find out Buddy and Troy were scheduled for Wednesday at 9am. Also, over the weekend it rained and the gutter in front of our metal roofing was now having a waterfall effect and not working properly. On Wednesday, Buddy and Troy showed up an hour early (without a phone call) and knocked on our tenant's door - bothering her while she was getting ready for work. When I arrived to meet them, Troy apologized for "irritating" our tenant. I told Troy and Buddy that I had asked them from the very beginning not to bother our tenant. Buddy smirked and said ?I always knock on doors to let people know I?m here? ? then laughed and bumped shoulders with Troy, to which I replied ?well that?s not what your customer asked for.? Troy immediately apologized and said they would go to breakfast and let our tenant leave and then get started. I asked them to call me when they were done and I would come back to meet them. I left and called Dawn at Peak because I had hit my limit with Buddy. I talked to Dawn about all of our communication frustrations with our job (most of which she was unaware) and she apologized profusely and said she would correct things. We met with Troy and Buddy after they were done. Troy needed to come back and re-install the bird spikes (they were done incorrectly the first time) and replace some shingles the bird spikes were installed on. Troy also said they would replace our gutter, so it aligned properly with the new metal roofing (at no charge). We also had to ask Peak to clean up some chunks of the old asphalt shingle roof that had landed and were left on our window sills. Peak?s gutter team came out a couple days later to replace the gutter. I got a call from my tenant saying they knocked on her door and asked why they were there. I called Robin at Peak and she handled it. After the work was done, the new gutter seems to work great (we haven?t had any heavy rains). Troy came out a few days later and wrapped up the final punch list items. Troy was great ? he was really the saving grace of this job. Dawn called me after all the work was complete to ensure that everything had been addressed and we were as happy as we could be with the job. She provided the pictures of the roof (which Buddy had taken over a week prior) and a revised invoice that reflected a discount for our frustrations, which was greatly appreciated. After all was done, I think the workmanship was good, the communication was just painful. UPDATE 6/2/15: We had torrential thunderstorms last night that resulted in a leak in our house. Peak came out the next day to look at the issue. They took care of the problem, part of which was caused by a clogged gutter. Very happy with the quick and efficient response.

It was expensive. They weren't the cheapest. I would call them for a quote, and take it from there, because their work is good.

Answered all of my questions upfront, helped me to understand different material types. Flexible on scheduling. Showed up on-time, professional crew and crew lead. Removed old roof and paper, re-roofed entire house in a single (very full) day. Left my house and yard cleaner than when the day started. Outstanding experience in all regards!

It was great! The crew showed up at 7 am. They were fast and professional. The job was done by 1:30. And my house/yard is spotless!

After getting 5 estimates, I went with Peak Roofing. They were responsive, professional and great to work with. The crew showed up on time, with all their supplies and did a great job. They were done in less than a day and this was a pretty big job. When they were done, i couldn't tell they were ever there. Everything was so clean! There was one outstanding issue that I asked them to fix, it took them a while and I had to keep calling (I think vacations were the reason) - but they did come and fix it. James, my sales person, was really great. Jason, the foreman, was also terrific. Everyone I have dealt with at Peak has been polite, helpful and professional. Overall, I would highly recommend Peak roofing.

The job was done promptly, the people I talked to were courteous and knowledgeable, and the gutters themselves work and look great. They did the whole job in one day, without anyone from my household being present. It is the type of service one is happy to pay for. Very professional. Great company.

The work went well. The estimator was professional and provided us with several options, and worked with us to finalize the contract. Peak scheduled the work for approximately three weeks after signing of the contract. They arrived on time each day, and the job supervisor communicated with us frequently about the status of the work. They estimated two days and completed on time. The team cleaned up after all of the work and left the yard clean. Overall a very professional and positive experience.
