He arrived on time and did a great job with removing the old door, installing the new door (with a little help from his uncle), and cleaning up. Couldn't be happier with my overall experience. I don't write reviews but I am making an exception in this case. Paul Henry installed our windows (20) in 2014. We had several of the windows made lower (expanded) as well. Five years since, I could not be happier. They gave the option of spray foam insulation around the window casings to help with drafts from original construction. What a difference. Not at all pushy and not the cheapest but boy was it worth it.

From start to finish we had an excellent experience with Paul Henry Windows! Pat our salesman was very knowledgeable with helping to pick out the windows and Paul Henry was always available for any questions we had about our project! The day of installation went without any problems. They showed up early and started right away.Daniel and Cory were very professional and respectful. Excellent workers! At the end they cleaned up the area so well you couldn't tell they had been working there. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to any one .

Let me just start by saying that window replacement is not cheap and dealing with some replacement window companies is like dealing with pushy car sales people. Paul Henry's was not the cheapest quote we received, but they were the most professional with no pressure or sales gimmicks. They were an extreme pleasure to work with from start to finish. Installation of the windows went smoothly, they cleaned up behind themselves, and the windows look great. I am so impressed and so glad that I chose Paul Henry's over some of the big name quotes we received.

Pat - Sales; Paul - Owner; Brian - Scheduler; Daniel - Crew foreman; were all easy to do business with. The owner even came by to double check all measurements before the work started. My highest praise goes to Daniel Henry and his crew. Their work was impeccable. They were clean, fast, and very courteous. Quite frankly, I can say enough good about the company and its personnel. I just hope they are around for a long time since they provide a lifetime labor and materials warranty. *******

Windows replaced on time, on budget.

We hired Paul Henry's to replace all of our windows in our house. We looked at 3 different companies. Paul Henry's gave us a very competitive price. We are very happy with our choice. They did a great job.

Came to the house twice to make sure measurements were correct. Day of insulation they were here early, replaced door and frame by noon. Beautiful door and excellent service. For sure.

This company is super. The estimate was done thoroughly and at the scheduled time, estimator was very knowledgeable and what he didn't know he found the answers for and was in communication with us within 24 hours. The work was done as specified and for the cost specified. We love our new doors and the fact that nothing will ever need painting again, it is all super easy to maintain and a fantastic job was done on all of the work. We would not hesitate to contact Paul Henry's to do further work on our home if needed.

Paul Henry's Windows is a small local company. They are professional and take pride in their work. There is a reason they are so highly rated by customers. The crew withstood some very cold weather this January but finished on-time. The manufacturer delivered on broken pane of glass, so Paul Henry's Window's ordered the new glass and installed once delivered. I will consider them again for other exterior work for my hose (siding, roof).

They were here here in July of 2015. They're a great company, I wish I could find others like them. I'll tell you how well they did with, the door was excellent, I'm very pleased with it, but this octagonal window, there's one flanking each side of our fireplace and when we moved in it had a broken seal, it's a double pane, so they ordered it for me. They came and put it in. When they were all done the fellow went outside and looked at it from the outside and noticed that the other window did not have the same trim so he went back into town and got trim and retrimmed the other window at no extra charge. I would highly recommend them. I did price out with other people and not only did he seem reasonable but the people that had recommended him to me said that they are very very professional. I was very pleased.

Because our home was a good distance from his showroom and because we were previous customers, Paul was amenable to giving us suggestions on what to replace the existing doors/windows with as well as ballpark pricing based on our measurements. This saved them and us a lot of time from having to schedule appointments in such a remote part of the area. We ended up going with them b/c we liked his suggestions, and he had very reasonable pricing. All of the doors being replaced were the original 1940s wooden doors that had major gaps and air leakage causing loss of energy efficiency. We had used Paul Henry in the past, and his team does a fantastic job. All of the doors being replaced had a great deal of custom installation involved. They were very patient, detail-oriented, and very meticulous with how the final product ended up. After the job was completed, they cleaned up their work area. Even during Snomaggedon 2016, when we used the storm doors going in/out of the house, they closed nice and snug and had no air gaps/leakage.

They were great! The owner came to my home and did all my measurements. The workers were very friendly, clean, and neat. They were very quick, and very professional. I was very pleased, and I plan to have them back at my home in the spring to install more windows.

Background Our house in Warrenton, VA was built in 1987 and, among other things, in need of new siding, windows, and some doors. The original siding was not the greatest (relatively thin and not insulated/foam backed) ? and had passed its life expectancy (becoming faded and brittle). The original windows (30 of various sizes) were wood-framed and had also reached their limit on function (sticking, difficult to open and close). We could feel the air coming in, and although double-paned, were not providing any real insulation. The house also had some very nice double-wide French doors opening to our back deck and basement. These doors were also wood (inside and out) and had deteriorated over time and with poor maintenance. Selection process We decided to do a single large project to replace all of the siding, windows (thirty), and doors (four ? 2 sliding, 1 French, and 1 standard). After having done some research on windows (various manufacturers, specs, useful features and metrics) and, over the previous year and a half visiting home shows and showrooms, we began talking to two companies to provide the work. Both of these companies were recommended to us by friends and neighbors. We also took a look at the reviews available on Angie?s List? both companies had A+ ratings. In late summer of 2014, we contacted the two companies to begin discussions on their products, services, and pricing. One of these companies was Paul Henry?s Windows (who got the contract). (We?ll call the other company, ?Company X?.) We spent a good deal of time with both companies over several visits and had a good number of discussions spanning roughly a month and a half. The many hours of discussion were at our behest and graciously accommodated by both companies. We believe the amount of time spent was well worth it ? both to provide a clear understanding to the companies of what we required and wanted ? and to fully understand what the companies would provide to us. After our initial visit/call with the companies, the first visit from each was at our house ? and lasted more than two hours. Company X sent a salesman. The person we met with from Paul Henry?s Windows was Paul Henry (the owner). Both the salesman from Company X and Paul Henry were well prepared for the discussion ? bringing necessary materials, samples of products, product information, and sample contracts and paperwork. Each answered all our questions to the extent possible, and for that which they did not know at the time, followed up later with the answers/information we wanted. As the owner (vs. a salesman) of the company, Paul Henry was more able to negotiate? make decisions, commitments, and concessions. Both companies offered quality window products. In fact, each acknowledged the others products as being of good quality, while at the same time suggesting reasons why their own product might be a ?little bit better? for our application. The siding product offered by Paul Henry?s was superior. In our effort to compare the two companies, we needed to get to an ?apples-to-apples? comparison. In other words, we had to do a fair comparison of like products and services. It took some back and forth to accomplish this, particularly with Company X, as their initial approach to the project was different than Paul Henry?s. (In fact, Company X?s initial approach was more complex and would not have been cost-effective.) Once we were able to get to a fair comparison ? the companies were very close in all aspects? products, services, and price. But ? there were differences and, for our needs, one was better: Paul Henry?s Windows. The most difficult decisions we had were selecting the style and color of the siding, trim, and shutters for our house. Paul Henry was willing and able to help us with that by giving us ideas, ?rules of thumb?, showing us various color combinations, and even making recommendations. (Company X?s salesman was very reluctant to provide any assistance in this area.) Paul Henry?s assistance in this was another reason that lead to our selecting them for the project. The work/performance We signed the contract with Paul Henry in the Fall of 2014. Because of the company?s other projects, we were told that the work on our house could begin some months later ? likely early Spring. Over the next few months Paul Henry?s kept us up to date on potential start dates. Based on the size of our project, the company?s availability, and our schedule ? the work began in mid-March/2015. We were told that project would take 2 and ½ weeks. It did. The work was completed on March 31, 2015. We were told that the crew would arrive each day at 7:00am. They did? on time, every day. The team finished up each day between 4:00pm and 4:30pm. Before the team left each day, they made sure that any debris was picked up, working areas swept and cleaned, and tools and materials stored. Work was done Mondays through Fridays. The project crew was outstanding. We met each worker and these were the same people that worked on the project from start to finish. The crew?s experience spanned from relatively new to many years. Regardless of how much experience a particular person had, they all performed professionally, were polite, and a pleasure to deal with. The project was lead by Paul Henry?s brother, Brian. We learned that Brian Henry has decades of experience with this work, a great deal of expertise, and is extremely knowledgeable. It was also clear, as we watched the team and the work being done; that Brian provided the leadership and direction one would expect to make sure the project was successful. Regarding the work itself? it was outstanding. The work was performed professionally and efficiently with clear purpose in approach (i.e. knowing what tasks to start when considering everything all that needed to be done). Great attention was paid to detail ? from measuring and fit, to cutting and installing, to even wiping down/cleaning the siding once it was installed. All of the windows were installed properly ? proper fit, sealed, and working as they should. The siding and trim looks great. The doors are well installed ? proper fit, sealed, trimmed properly, and working as they should. Brian Henry provided answers and solutions to the small items that came up during the project. All of these items were taken care of with no problem or hassle. (It should be noted that there were very few items that came up during the project, as substantive and proper preliminary design and planning work was done.) Included in the project was the installation of new outside lighting (outdoor wall lamps, spot lights, and porch ceiling inserts). Paul Henry?s did this work as well. In addition to the necessary electrical and installation work for this, all the trim for these lamps had been ordered and worked very well. There were a few fixture items that were needed for which the team was kind enough to pick up and bring to the job. Summary These days, it is not often that one is completely satisfied with a product or service. With Paul Henry?s Windows,we were completely satisfied. From beginning to end? from sales and consultation, to design and planning, to the product and service ? we have no complaints whatsoever. Although not inexpensive, the value is clearly there. We strongly recommend Paul Henry?s Windows for the aforementioned products and services.

Daniel our installed was beyond courteous and professional, making sure that no detail was overlooked. His attention to detail was outstanding! It felt like we were dealing with family throughout the whole process; you can tell that they care about their customers!

This is the second time I contracted with Paul Henry's for window installation. I originally obtained a quote based on Angie's List reviews, and chose them to do the work based on Paul's professionalism even though he gave a slightly higher quote. Paul Henry's is a family-run business, and Paul provided both estimates. In April 2014 Henry's installed nine new BF Rich windows and two exterior doors. The installer was Brian and a crew of three people. There were no language barriers with any member of the installation team. Installation was clean, professional, and high quality. Brian communicated with me every step of the way. In May 2015, I had Henry's return to install seven more windows. I requested Brian to do the installation again, and he provided the same high quality job. I will have Henry's replace the remaining six windows and two doors in my home next spring 2016.
