+ -1 moreThis provider pops up under the "emergency plumbing" category. I called the number and reached (presumably) a shared services call center which took my name, address and phone number. I made this call roughly at 2100 on tuesday. The call center personnel assured me that I would receive a call and a tech would be dispatched--what one would expect from someone who bills their capabilities to include EMERGENCY service. The call never came and unbelievably a very chipper person from this company called me at 0910 the following day offering services. I made it clear that I would never even consider them and that perhaps they should reconsider saying that they offer Emergency services which they clearly do not. Don't waste your time calling this number if you need emergency service off hours.

+ -1 moreI had a plumber from Patriot out twice in teh last two months due to a bad pressure regulating valve. On the first visit, the plumber temporarily bypassed the valve and the second visit it was replaced. The plumber was very prompt on both visits, notably on the first, which was during a spell of bad weather - he arrived early on a Sunday morning after a snow storm the previous day. He made our visit a priority which was good as we had no water for a couple days. Second visit was just as good. Plumber described all work to be done very thoroughly and was courteous and professional throughout. Would definitely use again.

+ -1 moreIt went really well. The weather was very cold with various types of precipitation, so that posed a challenge. The work was completed in one-day longer than the estimated duration, but that was not a problem. Nor was it a surprise when the condition of the concealed duct work was revealed during the first day tear out. New duct work needed to be ordered, but was available a day and a half later. The crew that did the work was polite, tried their best to keep the house clean, and gladly answered any questions we had and provided demos of work completed whenever asked. They even belly crawled through the spider-web invested crawl space to repair ducts that had degraded and/or come apart over the years. Contractor was always available for phone consultation and never delayed in meeting personally with us, at our house, at every request, during all phases including the estimate, proposal, negotiations, and project execution.
Description of Work: Replace two old forced air furnaces (upstairs and downstairs systems) with two new dual fuel furnace systems, heat pumps, coils, and A/C. In addition to removing the old equipment, made repairs on existing duct work, cleaned ducts, did drywall repair in furnace closet, and provided 12-month service agreement.

+ 1 moreWe were in the middle of a heat wave and our air conditioner broke. Gary came out quickly and gave us the best price on replacing our unit, upgrading our water heater to a 75 gallon unit and getting a humidifier installed as well. We had 2 other companies come out to give us price quotes on the same equipment/installation costs. We agreed to the proposal and Gary sent out the team to install the new equipment the next day. In the meantime, they installed 2 window units so that we could survive the heat. Installation went very smoothly, the installation technicians were excellent. We got a Trane 16 Seer 4 ton XR. It comes with a 10 year part, 2 year labor warranty. I highly recommend this company. You will be very happy with their professionalism, product and service.
Description of Work: Replaced our interior and exterior heating and air conditioning units, thermostat and heat pump. Installed an air humidifier as well.

While the installation went fine, albeit slow, in part due to the weather, it was their lack of device after the job that irritated me. They forgot to paint one of the pipes, and it's beginning to rust. I've contacted three times over the past 6 weeks to address the problem, but I've received no response. It's a relatively minor problem, but their inability to respond is upsetting.

Description of Work: The builder saved about $1.50 by using a cheap metal ring to hold the toilet in place. naturally, over time it bent and wer ahd to spend a lot of money to fix it. Patriot-Mr. ooter did an outstanding job. (They merged). This is the third time I have used them.

+ 0 moreWe had called several companies to get this relocation estimated and Patriot was the only one that responded immediately. The appointment was set for the next day and Daniel arrived as scheduled in the afternoon. Daniel pre called us when he was on his way, when he arrived he evaluated our situation and explained in detail the complexity of our request. He offered a couple of options to accomplish the relocation but most were esthetically unappealing but were the only options due to the way the house was built. Throughout the entire visit Daniel was extremely upbeat, positive, knowledgeable and friendly. He clearly laid out all aspects of our plan and the pros and cons in easy to understand language. He clearly loves what he does. Although we could not use Patriot/Mr. Rooters this time, we will use them in the future for our plumbing needs. Daniel is an excellent representative for this company an is awesome at what he does.

+ -1 morePatriot was able to get someone out right away. It was excellent. They were very responsive and they were very reasonable. Air conditioning guys are notorious for coming out and immediately saying you need a brand new unit. This guy actually took the time to diagnose my unit and then made a couple of repairs that only cost like $500.

+ 0 moreOverall everything went very well. The sink was fixed easily, but the technician was wrong about the stove. He said we needed a new one but after GE came out they where able to fix it. Stoves are not their specialty anyway.

I joined Angie's List just to find a reputable plumber, having ahd some bad experiences in the past. I chose Patriot lumbing because they had nothing but A ratings on Angie's list. Nikolai, a Patriot plumber couldn't have done a better job. He arrived on time. His woik was perect. He took care to make sure that water didn't go all over the room. He cleaned all aprts before they were isntalloed and cleaned up his work are when finsihed. Emily, of patriot Plumbing was helpful and honest. I will definately use them again for any plumbing needs I have.

+ -1 moreMy elderly parents had some toilets in their house that needed repair and a new toilet that needed to be installed. They also had a leak in a shower drain that had caused water damage to a ceiling below. I was quite impressed with Patriot Plumbing with the first call I made to them as they were very polite and caring and listened to my "story" and repair needs. Emily scheduled someone for an estimate right away and when we decided to use their services they were able to schedule the work in a short timeframe. The price was very reasonable and they were very patient with us. Emily kept me informed via email and telephone from start to finish which made me feel very secure in using them to do work in my parents home.
Description of Work: Three toilets repaired, one new toilet installed, and a shower drain repaired. They were very responsive, polite, caring, and patient with me and my elderly parents. I live in another state and when I signed up for Angie's LIst I added my parents city to my account as I often need to help with repairs, etc., at my parents house. It is very comforting to me to know that we now have a plumbing company that we trust to do the job right. The plumber arrived just before the schedule window of arrival and my parents were out running an errand. Emily called me as she was concerned when they didn't answer the door as she knew they were elderly (in their 90's). She kept in contact with me and Danny, the plumber, for about a 30 minute period until my parents showed up and the job could begin. I am so grateful for the reassurance and the professionalism they displayed in helping me and my parents. They will be our plumber from now on and we will gladly recommend them to anyone in need to such services.

+ 0 moreThe entire project went quite well. Patriot Plumbing responded quickly to my call, showed up on time, treated me with the utmost respect and did a very professional job. Please see my comments on the Work Description.
Description of Work: We needed a new exterior faucet for one side of our home. Patriot Plumbing had to tap the water line near our water heater which was situated in a utility room with our space-hogging HVAC equipment. Once the water line was tapped and additional lines were directed toward an outside wall, they had to drill through concrete block to the outside. The space they had to work in was awful. In my mind, there was simply no way we would be able to get this done because no human could get to the water lines and do what was necessary and safe. The two guys at Patriot Plumbing surveyed the area and came up with a plan. These guys worked so well together and pulled it off beautifully. My husband and I were both impressed at the work they completed. The equipment they used was also top quality. We now have a heavy-duty exterior faucet in a place outside that will help us immensely for a variety of watering needs. The icing on the cake: The guys came to me and said, "It didn't take us quite as long as we had thought so we are charging you less than we estimated." Frankly, I was thrilled at their original estimate and I know how difficult this job was, but to get money back? Pretty nice. Ask me if I'd ever call them again? You bet.

+ 0 morePatriot is a professional organization with a skilled staff. They're also very responsive to plumbing emergencies. One morning I woke up to find my basement of our new house flooded with sewage (probably three or four gallons on the floor, and steadily trickling in from outside) that was coming in through the outside/basement stair storm drain. There was apparently an obstruction somewhere in the sewer line. Emily Counts was very helpful and got a crew out to me in no time. Despite the difficulty of my particular situation (the obstruction was the size of a basketball, the sewer line blocked by a t-shirt, rags and LOTS of roots) they did a fantastic job. Since then I have used them a few times now for a variety of issues, and each time they came on very short notice, got the job done quickly and the price has always been fair. The crews are very professional and experienced. They were referred to me by a friend, and now that I have used their service I won't bother looking for any other plumbers. These guys are great. We're in the middle of a house remodel, so we will be calling them again over the course of the next several months.
Description of Work: Cleaned severe drain obstruction in my sewer line, removing a t-shirt and root matter that ended up being the size of a basketball. They have also moved a gas line and other basic plumbing issues. I will be using them for many other things over the next year as we wrap up our home remodel.

We liked their attitude and work, and thus when we wanted to do another bath ourselves, we called them. What I greatly appreciated was how responsive they were - I booked them via email (while I was overseas) to plan for them to come the day I arrived to install plumbing for a shower (shower head and rough in which I had bought over the internet). No questions, no problems, just got to wokr, and did a good job for a fair price.
Description of Work: They installed plumbing for shower that we were remodleing ourselves. Prior to that, they did all the plumbing for another bathroom remodel.

+ -1 moreThe replacement of 2 quarter turn valves may sound simple, but I have an unusual house and a unique configuration on the toilets. Patriot Plumbing professionals - Nick and Dannie knew how to wiggle around my toilets and accomplish this task efficiently and successfully!! Also my kitchen sink faucet was a problem!! The lever handle was stuck, and had to be removed to replace the cartridge and valve -Nick stuck with it - calling up the model number of the handle on his blackberry and ultimately calling up the company's 800 number to figure out the way to remove the handle (which had been welded into place with corrosion). Mission accomplished !! Handle removed and all parts replaced (which he had on on the truck) No more leaking faucet. Emily, the owner of Patriot Plumbing is a gem!! She immediately dispatched her staff to take care of my plumbing problems and the prices of the services were extremely good. I would highly recommend Patriot Plumbing to anyone - you will not be disappointed!!!
Description of Work: Patriot Plumbing was referred to us as part of our overall bathroom remodel - they did an excellent job in relocating a bathroom drain and re installing the shower and sink plumbing and faucet fixtures. A new toilet was also installed and all the appropriate plumbing - works perfectly!! Nick and and Dannie were on time, professional and courteous. As a result of them doing such an excellent job for our remodeled bathroom I hired this company to take care of other plumbing problems in my home. Specifically 2 leaking toilets in other bathrooms and a leaking kitchen faucet. To remedy the problems, 2 quarter turn values were installed in the bathrooms and a new cartridge and valve was installed in the kitchen faucet. These jobs were done with the utmost of professionalism, respectful - (we take off our shoes in the house and they did the same without being asked to do so) and cleaned up to the point I did not know they had been in my home to make the repairs.

They really are customer focused. I have used Patriot Plumbing for multiple large jobs and have always been very satisfied. I will use Patriot Plumbing in the future for all my plumbing needs.
Description of Work: On this date I had a natural gas line installed to a gas grill. On previous occassions I have used Patriot Plumbing for projects related to a bathroom renovation, including sink, toilet and shower installations. Additionally Patriot Plumbing has installed a new outdoor spicket. I have always been extremely satisfied with their service.

Description of Work: Will not discuss fees in this report. Patriot Plumbing responded immediately to our water heater problem. They installed the new water heater and completed all connections. The work was excellent and the work area was left in perfect condition. They advised us on the correct new product to purchase and managed the complete installation. It was an excellent recommendation; our previous water heater was affecting our quality of life more than we had been aware.
